A lot of different ways you could do it but personally I wouldn't do it like this. I'd 1) pretreatment panel 2) wash with sponge until clean 3) dry with towel being 95% plus clean. Would only use one or two towels per car.
The dirt in the yellow towel after using the sponge means the clearcoat was scratched. With Rinseless, I always pre-treat before any contact wash, rinsing with a sprayer filled with water, or more Rinseless if at all possible. I also keep my wheel towels (old ones) separate from the paint towels.
Went through a whole bottle of hero and it really is an awesome way to quickly wash. Just yesterday I washed my own vehicle which went months without a proper wash. My drying towel at the end was super dirty but the car came out amazing. I ignored the wheels I didn’t feel like washing any longer in this cold 😂
I agree foaming is the preferred method to clean a car. However, a contact wash HAS to be done, especially if there's traffic film on the back and lower half. That film will never be removed with just a pressure washer.
That truck is filthy. I’m a huge fan of rinseless, but there’s no way I would ever wash that level of grime without a pre soak with a product like BH Touchless, followed up with a contact wash. That’s just crazy! Let’s have a little common sense here.
Yeah man, I've never had to deal with more than one drying towel because of dirt when I've pre soaked the vehicle before to list off and encapsulate the dirt. For heavy mud a presoak and a hose down before another presoak and a contact wash. Rinseless is one of my favorite methods, just did my dad's F355 Spyder on Friday, The Rag Company Everest towels and DIY Detail Rinseless V2. Amazing results
Rinseless just means you don’t rinse in the end. If you have too much grit then you can pre soak, rinse, then do rinseless and automatically dry. Much faster process than foam, rinse, foam, agitate, rinse AGAIN, THEN dry. Just one less extra step.
Man Jimbo you waste so much time with rinselss wash. Pretreat the car before you hit it with a sponge, itll list up all the dirt and come off in your bucket. I use 2 drying towels, one to soak up the water and the other is dry to buff any streaks out, never have i had to worry about the towels getting dirty Really not sure how you can say when you foam a car theres more labour savings then with a rinseless. Thats the crazy part to me. I can get a pick up truck done in half the time as a foam, wheels wash and dry, with half the product and 3.5 gallons of water
I agree with most of your stuff, Jimbo, but I disagree with this. If it’s a thick layer, use rinseless solution to pre soak. Rinse. Then you can do rinseless and it’s still much faster. And in my case, I don’t let my car get gritty as I do rinseless twice a week and it takes me less than 20 minutes, less than 5 gallons each wash.
Foaming is certainly safer as you aren't touching the car. But does it get the cleanest? I've never gotten as good a results from a touchless wash versus a contact wash. Contact wash has always been better.
Your comment about rinsing thoroughly is important. When using your product, when ive had issues is when i didn't spend a little extra time rinsing and removing the dirt with the pressure washer
Rinseless isn’t really my thing either. Between going back and forth to the bucket to clean my sponge and trying to fit it in tight spots I just don’t enjoy it. Almost feels like I don’t save much time with it either because soap is a streamlined process for me from the wheels to the paint.
I would never rinseless wash a car that dirty without a pre rinse and reapply some for extra encapsulation and lubrication. That method would be as quick or faster than a foam wash
Hey Jimbo, you mentioned you would not foam the Porsche, is that because where it is located inside, or is there another reason foam is not right for that case or car type in particular.
Someone give this man a rinseless washing lesson
@@fracture589 yeah I’ve never seen someone use multiple towels to dry rinseless

Great stuff! We're all waiting for a JIMBO's Rinseless!
Fingers crossed!
@@autodetailingpodcastisn't Super Soaper already labeled as a rinseless?

I use a citrus or other APC to help clean the wheel on a rinseless wash, I make sure I rinse them well with a pump sprayer of rinseless solution.

I agree 100%

Jimbo hit it raw!! What a boss!

Rinseless does not mean not rinsing. It doesn't mean you don't pre treat and rinse. It's rinse less. That's the little common sense.
I can't seem to get myself to use a rinseless on a car that has more than just dust. smh. Not even close to ready for a legacy sponge for sure.

For the rinseless, why didn’t you presprqy the vehicle first? Lol just curious.
exactly, say it like it is.
Thanks for the heads up on the promo code, just placed an order for the interior cleaner and drying towel :)
Awesome! Thank you!

Great comparison video Jimbo. What is your D.I. water set up
How do you like that grit guard? I just got it, it will not stay secure in any of my buckets 😂
It’s a little loose in my bucket too
I’m no expert but I thought the main idea of rinse less was the pre treating for encapsulation part of it
Hey Jimbo, you mentioned you would not foam the Porsche, is that because where it is located inside, or is there another reason foam is not right for that case or car type in particular.
Just because it’s inside and doesn’t need a foam usually
WTF WAS THAT?!?!?
C’mon Jimbo, that was some next level special-ed sheet right there.
Are you using deionized water? I always struggle using a foam Cannon in the sun
That car is way to dirty for a Rinseless Wash Jimbo!
Hero still worked really good. Even in this extreme case.
@@autodetailingpodcast you still scratched the sh*t out of it though bud, don't be naive...
I actually didn’t scratch it any more then I’d already there.
@@autodetailingpodcast yah Hero is great for sure!! Even diluted down to 15-1 is mind blowing with no streaking!!
Very clear video. New camera? 😮
There is 0% chance you did not scratch that paint.
Thnx! 😮
Always great Detailed information, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
BUT, YOUR SOLUTION (RINSELESS) IS DIRTY. I only apply clean rinseless to my cars with clean solution. "Common On Man".
