Larry is the best detailer out there. Honest and love the way he does things. Doesn’t go to stupidly over the top. And makes cars look like mine. Brand new.
I had the absolute honor to detail a 2002 S2000 earlier in the year. It was unfortunately after it was repaired after hitting a deer, but that car is definitely at the top of my list of most fun and satisfying cars to work on. I can't tell you how excited I was when this video popped up lol!
I worked at an Acura dealership back in 2000-2002 as a porter. One of the service advisors had an S2000. Once a week if I washed it for him, as "payment" he'd let me take it out for a spin after I was done. Being 20 years old and loving the car, that seemed fair to me. Like Larry said, it's not the fastest car I've ever driven...but it's definitely one of the most fun cars I've ever driven hands down. It screams up to that 9k rpm mark! So much fun. If It had been mine back then, I would have been in trouble constantly! Definitely a fun car to drive!
I really have to admit, Larry has a very warm and caring personality. Always friendly and smiling. When customers see how you care for their car, they want to come back.
Great job Larry! Side note: About 7 years ago I tried paint correcting my Berlina Black s2000, and was having a very hard time. I reached out over email and asked for some pointers, and you got me through the battle of the endless swirls. Thanks again!
This car has always been a vibe. I think it still holds up in styling and interest to this day and I’m glad to see this one revived in your hands. I sometimes get more joy watching you bring these back than the fanciest supercars.
As an S2000 owner this video makes me extremely happy. Spotted this bad boy in the background a few videos ago and was hoping for a detail. Happy Thanksgiving, Larry!
This is sooooo satisfying to see this beauty brought back, kiss that dirt and grime goodbye and return her to glory! Absolutely amazing job Larry!! You have a way of firing people up to get outside and do the same to their cars! 😄🙌🏼
So much respect and admiration for the way Larry conducts himself with his clients. The way he operates his RUclips channel, content, everything. Hands down the best auto detailing channel. I used to watch another guy but he’s always busy remodeling his house and garage. Larry is just real. Thank You! Ammo

I loved seeing this S2000 come back to life! I had two AP2s in the past and I miss them. Sure they weren't the fastest or most expensive car on the road, but the driving experience you got with them was next to none. Hopefully I can get back in another one in the near future! Thank you for the awesome video, Larry!

The dealer said not to worry as they would break in but that was silly when you can't drive the car. I bought a Subaru STI later that day. Hi, Larry! I didn't know you could use something like Rapid Remover on carpets. Very good to know. Recently I had something similar, half of a decent size melted candle under the passenger seat in a Ford Fusion. I ended up using a light degreaser, let it sit for 15 min, then when I came back the wax had dissolved into a liquid. From there I used a plastic razor blade and shop towels to get as much up as I could without ruining my good towels, then extracted and it looked brand new. Random thoughts from other detailers.

One of the greatest cars that Honda ever made with the exception of the NSX and a few others. Hopefully they will resurrect this model at some point in the future. I wanted one of these so bad when they were first released but just couldn't seem to pull it off due to having two children at home at the time and it wasn't a very practical car for that purpose so the wife nixed those plans. The light blue Club Racer (CR) version was the one I had my eye on. I absolutely loved the electronic dash/gauge layout. It made the car look so far ahead of it's time for that period and made it seem more exotic. Then the prices skyrocketed on the aftermarket so I just gave up. Waiting and hoping for Honda to bring the model back someday hopefully. Maybe as an updated hybrid/gas engine version with even more horsepower than it had originally! Just keep that screamin' engine note if you do bring it back Honda!
Silverstone metallic is such a beautiful Silver. Also that little piece of exhaust extension is for exhaust drone. Not sure if it was factory or added on though from say a previous muffler setup

Thanks dude, I was wondering.
Nice Honda did that from factory.
Technically that is not a Helmholtz design, it's simply a resonator. Helmholtz has a very specific and high aspect ratio shape.
And they work very well. Helmholtz resonators are a sign of good engineering which only a few aftermarket companies ever bother with.
@@ChrisNLger what does that have to do with a resonator?
