  • You’re on the Dashing Axe channel and this time we aimed at the classics and decided to make a table based on the movie "The Matrix". A bunch of difficulties and mistakes, 50 meters of addressable LED strip, more than 7000 smart symbols and, as a result, the table that I’ve never seen before. Enjoy watching.
    At the moment we have very little left to finish it. But the project is currently frozen because we are stuck with expensive items such as custom suspension, wheels and car registration. Please support our project!
    We will appreciate every dollar.

      And that makes it less impressive?
      How would this project be any better if he sat there and cut out each of those thousands of symbols by hand?
      You just sound jealous and obnoxious… tools serve a purpose and if you can afford them there’s nothing wrong with using them. This isn’t a tutorial and no one said you needed to have those tools, so what’s the problem?

      Find a maker space and make one.

      All of this wouldn't be a problem if he hadn't said "DIY". If I made a video where I made something that anyone could do with a few tools they have around the house it would be "DIY", This is just "See How I Made It"

    amazing how them can afford $10k tools but can't afford a $10 eyes protection and a $10 ear protection... otherwise the end result is nice.

    OMG!!! This is AMAZING!!!! When I saw you first cutting out the letters in the first piece of acrylic I thought to myself that this is what you might be making, but then I thought that it would be way to much work to wire THAT MANY LEDs, but YOU GUYS MADE IT WORK!!! and you did it in SUCH A SMART WAY!!! I didn't think you would be able to get EACH letter their own LED because I was thinking that you would have the LEDs facing the back of the letter acrylic (instead of having it sideways like you did it) and each LED would be too far apart. And the system of interlocking pieces to hold the LED strips was really smart too!! I just can't get over how good it look!! WOW!!!!
    - What do you use to control the entire board? An Arduino One? an ESP32?!?! multiple controllers? I was hoping so much that you would show us... and then how did you draw the pic of Neo? Were you able to use a program that let you see it on the computer screen first, or did you have to do it ALL in JUST CODE and through trial and error get it to look just right? (and I guess the 'wake up Neo' text would have to be drawn/trial'n'error too, right? or were you able to just use text?)
    - however you did it, would you consider making it open source so others could make this project too??? this looks like a FANTASTIC novice project for people that are no longer 'beginners' :)
    - - - GREAT WORK!!!! This blew my socks off!!!!!

    what does it make it smart?

    • @DanteYewToob
      @DanteYewToob Месяц назад +1

      If you don’t already understand what makes it smart, I can’t really explain it to you but I’ll try.
      Basically, each of those thousand LEDs can be controlled individually to display those messages and patterns. There’s a computer that knows where each LED is, and controls the color and power of them all… it’s pretty incredible.
      That’s how they did the messages at the end.
