OMGosh, this video was hiiiiilarious. I loved the camera falling over. Also loved the "Pregnancy Blanket" 😂 comment; however, I am closer to a "Roott Canal" blanket. Blanket #1 didn't come out real well and was a beautiful little girl baby blanket piece of fabric that my little girl dogs now have. It came out off grain 🙄 and I know better but that is what happened. Move forward to this one, yup doing 2nd root canal blanket. I am having a huge amount of trouble keeping the stitching from "bowing" and the more stitching you do, it is close together and the quilt starts to become stiff. I finally decided to use a walking foot with a quilting bar set to one-inch and worked from the middle out (VERY IMPORTANT to work from middle out!!) on one side. It just seemed faster?! Then re-did that section and used the quilting bar placed (not re-set to a half inch) so that it was quilting lines now at a half-inch. HOWEVER, all I am going to say is that if you try this technique, do it from start to finish. Won't go into that.... I will do a 3rd root canal blanket on my long arm but my long arm is not a full width long arm like a Gammill so not sure how that will work out. I subscribed to your channel. Going to look at other videos 😀!
I"ve made over 30 faux chenille baby blankets. Have you had experience with the LUXE flannel that has 70% Rayon and 30% Cotton? Will it "bloom" correctly?
Can you sew fabric pieces together to make the blanket wider than the normal fabric width of 42-44 inches? How will those seams affect the look of the finished product? Can you show me what a large finished blanket looks like compared to a baby size? Thanks!! Valerie

You are so right! making faux chenille is very cool! Have you tried it with denim? Do you use a chenille cutter or scissors?

28:17 OMG, I almost screamed! Glad it wasn't anything serious!
Try keeping the fabric rolled up. This keeps the weight of the fabric balanced.
I use electric scissors too for my cutting.
lol ok..I got ahead of you! I see that you use the chenille cutter. I've got to get me one!😀
Geesh... go let your dog out!!
