I’m convinced you’re a mind reader. I’ve been looking for tutorials on these calendars for a few weeks. Instead I bought a whiteboard today...you better believe I’m going to return it and follow your instructions! Hahaha! Love you content!!
Cool project. I'd suggest wrapping some black tape around each of the mounting bolts to create spacers that will keep the copper tubes uniformly in place.
For you desktop - sand it smooth to remove most of the stains. What's left won't be so noticeable. Remove all dust and seal it with crystal polyurethane. Let it cure without using it. Once that cures, put a glass crafting mat on top. Immediately clean up paint and ink spills that get on the sealed wood to prevent staining the urethane. The glass will clean easily with rubbing alcohol and a rag, or a scraper for dry paint & glue. Or skip sealing the wood and just put down a safety glass crafting mat. (But be very careful to not spill inks or paint on the bare wood. Always immediately clean up spills from unsealed wood.) Get some empty spray bottles and some bottles of rubbing alcohol. Refill your spray bottles as needed. No need to buy pre-filled unless you can refill them.
You could have done a reverse stencil so that you can wipe off on plexiglass and not worry about vinyl tearing later. I would also use your cutting mat to measure from underneath.

I've never used silhouette studio before so I don't know for sure. All of the files are SVG files so I assume it would work. I can look into and let you know. :)

My effin design space has been down off and on for a week I am frustrated and all cricut says is sorry for the inconvenience...(I have 6 clients waiting for their order).....well they keep taking $$$ out of my bank acct. for design space AND IT WONT WORK...i am ready smash it up with a hammer and throw it out the window Im ready to switch to cameo...i bought 2 cricut makers 1 for me and 1 for my daughter....im pissed!😡😡😡😡
@Debra did you delete the app and redownlaod it? I had to do as that to get my design space up abs running again. I had to try it 3 times so I know your frustration!

Hi! If you are using permanent adhesive vinyl you don't need to seal it.

I've never used silhouette studio before so I don't know for sure. All of the files are SVG files so I assume it would work. I can look into and let you know. :)

It does! You can use dry erase marker or sharpie. With the sharpie you can use rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol to remove it.
