- Thargoid reacts to you having a Thargoid Heart on board. Sure enough, it's the same as the reaction to any other Thargoid materials (waits for you to drop, and attacks if you don't)
imagine if you are just vibing examining some guardian wreckage and then a ship flies up to filled with human organs

I just love *the* *slow* *realization*
I hate to spoil this due to how funny it is, but... It's not a slow realization.
After detecting the "bad" cargo, by sliently and angrily "staring" at you, it's implicitly demanding you to drop it. You will be given some seconds to do so (about 25 secs), upon which it will either retrieve or destroy it (the latter in the case of Guardian cargo). And if you don't do it in the given time or try to flee, it will become hostile and attack you.

I wonder what happens when you jettison it when it scans you...
If it's before it finishes, it'll act as if you had nothing on board... if it's after, it'll stop pursuing (once you jet all relevant cargo).
For Thargoid stuff, the Interceptor scoops it up. For Guardian stuff, it destroys it (but will leave you alone after destroying it)
I mean, it worked for Han Solo.
@@ashan_channel No idea why people act like the Thargoids hate us when they have shown countless times that they're extremely reasonable and forgiving. Dump the stuff you stole and they let you go, they only attack Aegis stations, they have never once acted in anything other than self defense or to reclaim stolen technology.

Thargoids have a hive mind, they probably dont have a concept of love or liking eachother, it was waiting for the player to jettison the cargo. This is the same reaction with any thargoid object, and meta alloys.
If you carry a guardian object I think it just attacks you straight after the scan.

@@Baraxes they’re more advanced, but still get their shit kicked in by a ‘conda running multi cannons. Though to be fair, they were multi cannons specifically designed for destroying thargoids.

I have never seen one of those, I'm relatively new to this game, can someone explain what is going on here?
So, it's a Thargoid Interceptor, bigger, badder sibling of the Thargoid Scout. They come in 4 flavours, from weakest to strongest being Cyclops, Basilisk, Medusa, Hydra.
Unless they're part of a "raiding party" (I guess) which includes Thargoid Scouts, encounters with them "can" be fairly peaceful. You encounter them either at Non-human signal sources around places like the Pleiades nebula, or when hyperdicted (interdicted while jumping between stars) in similar locations.
Their usual activity is to scan your cargohold contents, react accordingly and move on. If you get in their way or attack them, they can become hostile and fight back.
In this video, I'm showing a reaction to cargohold contents... there's 4 known reactions being "No cargo of interest", "Meta-Alloys", "Thargoid items", "Guardian Items"... with the last two resulting in hostility *if* you don't jettison the contents. There are differences between all four reactions. In this particular video, I'm showing a reaction to "Thargoid Items", being a Thargoid Heart in this case.

@@GuyWithAHat aye never did mining or trading only pve hunting still a have a conda worth 355mill and a type 10 worth about 140mill and a krait mk2 worth about 100 mill so yeah it works if you do the winged massacre missions from many different factions at once. then the money is decent. should be for the same pirates or gang tho.

Если вкратце, то это инопланетная раса обитающая на просторах космоса враждующая с людьми, но встреченный таргоид(так называется раса), является не враждебным если его не атаковать и если ты не везёшь ничего что могло бы разозлить их. Ну а в этом случае у нас на борту сердце таргоида, вот он и прифигел с такой наглости (но даже так, таргоиды дают возможность выбросить запрещёнку :) ), начав нападать.(вероятнее всего он пополнит коллекцию сердец...)

Это таргоид перехватчик. Он просканил корабль и дал около25 секунд чтобы он выкинул таргоидские предметы. Пилот их не выкинул, таргоид разозлился и стал атаковать.
I don't play this game and I'm so confused
What in particular are you confused about?
So in this game humans are in conflict with a race called thargoids (the giant racist ceiling fan you see before you) but they are somewhat tolorent of your presence (like if you see them they don't mind if you fly around and look at them, at least from what I personally seen actually meeting them) however this guy had something in his cargo called a thargoid heart (I think you get it from killing one) and they will scan you and give you about 25 seconds to jettison it so they can collect it. He did not comply within the allotted time. I also heard they will react the same with guardian cargo (I don't know what that is) but they will destroy it instead of collecting it.
@@RJ_Owlby the guardians are an extinct space-faring race that the thargoids also went to war with, though they went extinct because of their ai tech overthrew them.
@@redmike1617 I knew they were at war with them, but I only knew that they lost because they were "divided". I heard it's assumed the thargoids are slow to evolve since they are still hostile to guardian tech.
