@@numbersix8919 Trotskyist and Stalinist. I'm very critical of the socialist appeal (or rcp) but their positions on global issues are a tonne better than the stalinists chauvinism and nationalism. I basically agree with their positions on ukraine and palestine (slightly less so).

We don’t move to “communist countries” because there is no such thing right now as a communist country. Besides the Paris Commune or the first years of the Russian Revolution -which was rather in an inferior stage of communist development commonly referred to as socialism-, no country has ever been communist because there has never been extinction of the worker’s state. In the USSR after 1924-27 and every country after that there wasn’t communism, but rather the stalinist degenerated version of the state.
Besides, why should we move when we can fight for a true communist, class-less society in our home?

@@bryku It is unlikely. Under capitalism, you still need to bring profit to the owner. And in socialism, this surplus value will be used to improve production or other pleasant things as help to those in need. Socialism is better in any case.

Perhaps they know that a completely more civilised world is possible without constant wars, corruption, exploitation, poverty, homelessness, despair, etc. Capitalism is a rigged economic system against the world's workers. Capitalism evolved in the 17th century. No one ever voted for the world's capitalist system per sa. We have had world capitalism for hundreds of years without being given the opportunity to vote for any alternative. Hardly democratic freedom. Capitalism wasn't designed to be good for working people. I would prefer a world where there are no stock markets anywhere on the planet. No person would ever go to work in order to create profits because the profit/capitalist economic system has been replaced with international socialism. A world where people go to work because people need and want things rather than to create profits. A world where the workers control the means of production. A world where the workers are in full control of their own lives. A world where the workers/people run their own communities, countries, and would run and manage the planet for the benefit of everyone. The individual would have far more freedom than under capitalism, where our freedom is very limited. No longer would workers be shackled to the bosses, billionaires, greedy landlords, dictators, bankers, and ruling classes. No more pointless imperialistic capitalist wars where ordinary working people are slaughtered. There is nothing sinister about Marxism. Marxism is simply an alternative world economic system to the world's capitalist economic system.
The world's capitalist system is slowly collapsing. We should be building revolutionary parties throughout the world.
