Hi PB, I got sacked after 28years at British Gas. Started at 16 years old. Not as much as a thanks for your service. They’ve even taken back my old work boots, not forgetting to mention some tools I’ve looked after since I started. They will all end up in a skip. Totally spiteful behaviour. Looking forward to a new chapter in life working for myself. Thanks for your motivation!

It's not always about the money ! I always look at the bigger picture like yourself, gained lots of customers by putting in the extra effort to solve problems. Some jobs I've made no money on, but gained a customer for life, well done !

Well...I'm a self employed gas engineer (2 years and counting 😬🤞) and I was going to put my name down as the potential new owner for that thorough flush. But honestly, after reading these comments and hearing about how some of you lads have been treated after all the hard work you've put in through your careers, i don't feel like it would be going to the right guy! So instead I just want to say keep strong and good luck to all you engineers out there just trying to make a honest living 💪
Hi mate I have just started my career as a gas engineer I am a self employed and I would like to have your forward flash kit and I was really impressed of how you did sorted the blockage in that ideal logic I have never seen that anywhere else before I did watch a lot of your videos where I have learnt a lot keep posting them it really helps us beginners to gain our skills to the higher level and become more confident and professional thanks

We use the kamco machine, which I rent, and I bought the kamco magnetic. It’s brilliant
The clients love seeing the dirt in the magnetic!
Great video PB, ex BG engineer here lost my job to the fire and rehire scandal. Just set up my own company been trading 2 months no flush machine yet so the thorough flush would help me out. ✌🏻
Beautiful, beautiful job at the church. The original plumbers who put the system in had it right but it lacked execution. You took it up a notch and improved the efficiency without creating an architectural sh@t show. Good on you. I know the church members are thrilled and will give you a great recommendation for future work. Also, your diagrams are a pleasure to see. Your excellent drawing ability should help you to get future work by showing the client what's what. Again, good on you.
Hi Mr pb, ex British gas engineer 18 years service... i quit in January, started the Boiler Doctor to provide Excellence to all my customers... i was told basically that i can be as good an engineer as i want, but all we care about is sales... in my letter of resignation i wrote that it was clear our moral compasses were pointing in opposite directions.. i would love the thorough flush to add to my skills and to provide this expertise to my customers.

After 16 years in the industry i've just taken the leap to go self employed as a one man band!.
The tipping point was after working for a firm for 8 years i slipped a disc between L4 and L5 in January of this year. i had previosly never been off sick so this held me back from work for 2 months. No financial support which made me realise we are just a payroll number in these firms!
Would be a great start to my van winning the thorough flush as i currently don't have a flushing machine.
Keep up the vids, i'm sure it's hard work and very time consuming but your videos are very insightful and we all get something from them.
Hi PB I’m not a ex BG ENGINEER (please don’t hold this against me) I’ve been made redundant from my employer after 9years of slavery, it was my first job in the industry and I’m going it alone.
I saw your last video when you used the THOROUGH FLUSH and thought what a good idea as I’ve never come across this product before and wanted one, until I saw the price, I’ve even tried to make a home made version which didn’t go to plan. Would love to get my hands on this as it looks like a great bit of kit.

Hi PB my dad went self employed at the start of last year just before lockdown
He struggled though lockdown but he made it though but right before Christmas his van was broken into and they stole all of his drills and his flush Machine he was absolutely devastated afterwards and I know it would mean a lot to him if he got it

After 18 years service at British Gas, I have also decided to go and set up on my own. It would be great to have this thorough flush but to be honest anyone who has recently left BG and stood up to the bullying leadership would deserve it 👍🏻
Hi PB, I’m 20yo and just started my own plumbing and heating business after having been messed around by employers. Get asked so much to do power flushes, now Getting my gas certificate need to flush systems and do things the proper way!

Feel like deer in the headlights , worried about the potential work coming in 😅 watch all your videos and insta love them , the wife even knows who you are. Never put my hat in for any giveaways as I never win them but I have been back and forth since the first time you posted about it and still not made the plunge

Absolutely brilliant tool that thorough flush I’ve tried forcing cold water through before but never went right I could do with that I’m self employed not ex British Gas 😭 I work hard 7 days a week to provide I really could use that machine pb plumber 👍

Hi PB. I’m entering this for my son. I work for Vaillant on the technical helpline and my son is just starting out as an installer. He’s got his van and is slowly building up his kit. This would be an invaluable addition to him.
Obviously PB you make a a difference in the plumbing world whether you have some freebees or you teach people via social media your own skills. Unfortunately, it’s shocking that not many people are happy to buy you a cuppa as this would simply show the appreciation as well as some respect to you. Anyway, I would be happy to be an owner of such a flush kit as I started out my own journey and I would like to make a difference in my community as well as area. East London isn’t known for good workmanship nor skilled people so I would be happy if I could be the one who is changing the plumbing scene and try to pull some people up and teach them the right way of plumbing. Again, a top notch video as well as the rewarding blockage clearance! Absolutely amazing how far you got to make people happy or even to gain new customers!! Thanks for showing that

Hi Pete, Newby just starting out. Hopefully have my gas ticket in just over 3 weeks. Quit my job in working away to spend more time with the Mrs and kids. Slowly building up my tool kit. The thorough flush would be a great addition..... And prevent me from being a cowboy ha ha.

I’d love win win the thorough flush to help me long with my business just finishing my gas for the second time after college sold me a qualification that didn’t count for my acs. So had to start again from scratch and now finally paid it off and qualify in 2 weeks again and then I can start my journey as gas engineer after years of being knocked back, and keep up the good work mate your a credit to the trade 👌🏽🙌🏽

Would love to get the flush unit as it was you that got me involved with using the magna cleanse by watching all your videos. It’s been good watching you and my pipe bending skills are improving still not in your class but hay. Iv been self employed for 10 years and a couple years back lost a lot of work as was off due to cancer but and then all this Covid and still struggling to get back to where I was and that kit looks great and can think of loads of jobs that would have benefited from that kit so would like and help and this equipment would be great. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Hi PB. Been a Heating & Plumbing engineer for 6 years. absolutely love the trade and the satisfaction of fixing someones boiler like you’ve just shown. Finally just about to take the plunge into being self employed and starting my own business, winning this packout, will definitely be a good addition to the new van I’ve just bought!! Retired now and Loving it but I love your videos and your thought process in solving the problems your faced with. One man band, after site shed was robbed (no insurance it turned out :-( ) I only have a hose pipe for flushing and cobble something up using the fill-loop, old washing machine hose, couple of speedfits............. its getting me by BUT Through flush looks great and would help out massively as have a few jobs coming up, that it would be perfect for.

Pete I’m a regular follower of all your videos, I’m only apprentice and done a good four years of plumbing and just doing my gas course, I would appreciate the thorough flush as I rekon it would be a asset to me. Also I rekon it would be good to get rid of those air locks in open vent systems 😂 I remember multiple times I’ve tried making something to link the washing machine valve to some rad pipes I’ve tooken off. So Yh would really like to own one
Hi PB, I was going to set up on my own start of January but I caught covid and have been off work with long covid since. Catching covid has been life changing for me, from a confident plumber to a not so confident one now, as it has affected me mentally.
A thorough flush kit would cheer me up greatly and help me once I get back on my feet again!

Hey PB. I'm in the process of switching careers. I'm currently a teacher and within the coming months I'm hoping to buy a cheap van and become a self employed plumber. I'm currently 8 out of 40 weeks into my ACS evening training so would love that bit of kit when I become qualified to work on boilers. I would love the flush kit! 49 year old plumber, 30 years in the trade and finally saved enough money to do the gas training. Will be starting that next month so hopefully once I am registered I can finally start working on boiler etc on my own.

Should consider investing in a Kamco filters with the immersion heater cracking bit of kit heating the system without the boiler

Hi PB I’ve been watching intently for a while now and I can honestly say I’ve learnt so much. I’ve been with BG for 11 years as a service and repair engineer. I’ve now got a deeper understanding of the install and domestic plumbing side of things thanks to you. I’m now starting as a one man band as I need some positivity back in my work. I would love to give the thoroughflush a go and use it in my day to day. Hi mate, good video. Would love to win the Thoroughflush. Just got sacked on Wednesday from British Gas for refusing to sign the new terms and conditions contract. I'm setting up on my own,quite scary given I never planned to leave and especially with a 10 month old daughter and a wife on maternity but principles and morals meant I needed to set an example to my daughter on standing up to bullies. Might not be ex British Gas but I’ve recently gone self employed from April 1st due to being furloughed since last April. I decided to take the plunge being 28 and only having my own home since last year it’s been quite daunting but the first 2 weeks been brilliant. A lot of tools still to add to my collection but the thorough flush we be a wonderful addition. Oh and I turned 28 3 days ago so would be a lovely birthday present 😂
we do loads of servicing in churches, my gaffer has a bit of a monopoly on them. i must say you did a lovely job here. too many churches have fancoils that make too much noise and cast iron rads that don't heat up quick enough. a small note, leaks just appear in churches, some sort of weird heating stigmata. can never have too many iso valves on these jobs.

I would love the thorough flush kit! I’m still trying to get my head around what adaptors and any parts I would need as I don’t usually work with these fittings. I’ve been interested in the kit ever since I’ve seen it in your videos.
Even if I don’t get it I hope you keep doing these videos PB, they’re priceless for newcomers in our industry and the UK is better off because of what you do 👍🏼

I have a job with the same issue, I was going to change the pump but I think I’ll take the approach of piping up the boiler like you did and try clear the blockage. I would love to have the thoroughflush system, because I'm qualifying in about 2 months and already spent most of the credit I got to get me through the qualification. Self employed already and start feeling the drawback of not having paid days off :) Thank you for the great educational content 👌

Thoroughflush would be ideal after a tough year. I stopped working after cancelling my elderly dads carers to shield him. (Carers allowance is a pittance)
Now my dad has had his 2nd jab I can get back to work. The only thing being my refresher gas certification is due, my gas safe registration also, and lucky white heather, I’ve blown the head gasket on my van and now working out of the back of my dads old jalopy. Being skint, it’s hard times equally for me as it is for many.
Anyhoo, I’m sure there are many others deserving a shot at this, but I thought I’d give it a shout regardless. Not having any flushing gear myself, this would be a great bit of kit to have at hand and a well needed wee morale lifting boost to help get back to work with.
Keep up the videos. You inspire a lot of us to up our game!
