Ballcocks, fanny traps and flanges, you don’t get names like that with lesser trades. 😆
Some of the best plumbing you’ll ever see 👌🏼
More bent coppers than Line of Duty! 😂 Nice jobs guys. 👏🏻 👏🏻
Underrated comment!! 10/10! 👏
Lovely job, pipes are clean, solders are very neat, the bends are on point as always 😀👌 10/10
The moment we have been waiting for all week
🙏🏽
Great install Pete, Marcus, you do some of the cleanest l work l have seen, inspiration to the trade👌🏻😁
Great work, as always!👍
Top top work displayed here and choice of parts underneath the boiler.
Nice touch for the scale reducer on the return too.
The multiple angle pipe bending is a work of art.
I feel it should be on a spec when people are requesting big central heating and boiler install jobs - it allows you to leave a gap between yourself and the lesser skilled plumbers.
Thumbs up.
You are a master of the art of pipe bending, absolutely amazing, the dog didn't look impressed though 🙄
Another beautiful install. Pete, your pipe bending skills are just remarkable. You've really got the knack.
Nice neat job that, bet the customer was happy 👍🏼
Great work gents 🙌🏼 love the Crossover bends in the floor, also putting the ntc on the cold is a great idea 👍🏻
P b plumbing is always spot on.👍🏻
amazing video mate u and marcus seem to work really well together can’t wait till the next one
Looks like we’ve all had the laser levels out this week👍🏼👍🏼
I dropped mine down the stairs 😬
@@PBPlumber 😂
@@PBPlumber Gutted mate.......... i bet it fell in slow motion aswell!!!
@@PBPlumber Did it fall perfectly plumb?
Great job Pete, really neat and tidy
Thank you John
I had one of the flexi hoses on my bottle. It burst while I was sweating up a joint and sprayed everywhere. Absolutely lethal. Can’t believe they still sell them. Mine was 2 months old!
Same happened to me. The hose should be armoured or something. Did you fix yours with tape???
Some beautiful bends with that pipe.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Great stuff as always pb. Learn so much watching your vids
The bends were a joy to watch really enjoy watching what you do and how you explain stuff 😎🇬🇧
Love watching your videos PB, thanks for great content and always look forward to new uploads.
Nice to see a true professional at work and that you never compromise on your standards.
Absolutely master copper pipe bender. Thanks for all of the videos!
Your bending skills are 2nd to none Pete 🔥
great video as always pete. i would support you on the whole swaging discussion. i am a hvac engineer and we swage our copper pipework for refrigerent lines. we pressure test our pipework to 42 bar and never had a swage fail. yes we use thicker wall copper and braze rather than solder but swaging looks a lot neater in my opinion.
great work as usual
Harris (Lincoln Electric) specifically recommend not to swage copper lines for HVAC lines. They have a really informative white paper on a series of tests.
Wow, your pipework is like an art! Looks very neat and cool. Great job, as always!
Mate.. your blowing my mind with these bends!
Excellent workmanship as usual, keep up the great content Pete and 👍
I work for a housing association and the app you have is very similar to what we’ve been using for years.
Unbelievable Pete to think life of a jobbing plumber started 3 years ago 🍺🍺🍺😃
Class video as always mate, would change that intro with Marcus nicking the camera mind 🤣
Superb tidy job, expertly explained.
Brilliant as always 👌
Thankyou mate
Swaging definitely creates a failure point that doesn't exist on couplers. Harris (Part of Lincoln Electric) do a great paper on this showing a whole series of testing where the pipe will reliably fail at the radius between the normal tube and the expanded tube.
Loved the swage pipe tool. Got to get one. Good vid.
Great video Pete, keep them coming 👍
Very nice install good to see plenty of pipe bending rather than using fittings
Another great video. Really nice neat job 👌👌
Thanks Ade mate 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Great idea with the DHW thermistor 👍
Another awesome video, great content!!
Great video awesome bending 👍👍👍 just don't forget hot and cold will be the wrong way round when they do the shower ( cold will be on the left in the bathroom ) yep been there done that 😂
The moment I have been waiting for all week
Thanks again Pete
Please please do a video about reverse circulation
Many thanks
Jana
Bang tidy job. Thanks for another great video
The part where you were trying that new thing on your phone and had the option to let the tenant know if you're running late etc, well i tend to use a different method. My method is i bleedin get there when i bleedin get there and hope for the flamin best. Haha
😂😂😂
Nice job I hope you have rectified the leaking blow lamp hose, that's a pain and a concern, thanks again for the video.
Quality job mate! 👊🏽
Proper plumber never measures it’s all in the eye
As always perfect bending. Keep it up brother 👍🏻
Really nice looking finish on that.
Lovely job 👍🏻🛠️
Lovely fantastic job pipe bending like artwork
Regards
Faruk
Really tidy job as usual.👍
Excellent video as always..thanks
Vulcan auto-stat, thats got to be well over 50 yrs old! I would be older than Marcus probably and the Vulcan was a old unit when I was a apprentice straight from school..............
Changed the last one I looked after about 15 yrs ago now.
I would bet good money that the Vaillant won't last as long! ;-)
Excellent travail
Amazing pipe work thank you for sharing
That's really funny, my parents had a vulcan boiler just like that when I was a child, I replaced the gas valve on it once and the rope seal I think, and the pump, gave it a clean. And a thermocouple at some point.
Don't know why they let me do this I was only a young teenager at the time. Lol.
But it always run well afterwards.
The customers been watching too many RUclips videos stripping out the boiler 😭😭😭 and decommissioning rads big 👍👍👍👍pete and marcus jobs a goodun lads
Spot on job guys, awesome bending work as usual. Should that flue have had an extra clip by the 45° bends though 🤔
keep up the great content mate
quality work
Thanks 🙏🏽
Just a few questions, aren’t you supposed to clip the flue at every change of angle so should have had one between the 2 45’s? Also the discharge running into the condense. Always told that you can’t have a discharge going into condense especially glued fittings because the heat will warp the pipe and can shatter the glued fittings? We always use hep2o traps with tundishes and 32mm push fit high temperature pipe instead.
Lost all my strength carrying you... quality!!!
Great work guys, I'd like to see more on the vertical flues. Did you manage making good the flue without roof ladders? 😬👍
Remember those boilers, Vulcan continental, great boilers. No problems with pcbs and all that malarky. Bring back the good old days. As you can probably work out I’m a retired old plumber. Good videos though. Talk about busmans holiday.
Can u do a video on fault finding on components using a multi meter finding it difficult to understand love the videos thank u for doing them
Seems like maybe a stupid question I get the filter and shock arrestor, but it looks like you fit a second filter on the flow as well is that just to make the system last longer and cleaner? Top work quality BTW these videos are amazing to watch
Love it......
Thanks
Chris.
Why do people persist in putting rads under windows? , I have allways tried where poss to put them on walls conected to other rooms (under windows last resort), that way you don't waste heat going to outside and keeps the heat internal, which intern keeps the house warmer meaning you need less heat
I don’t think customers care too much about heat loss, more about how the room looks, and they wont have furniture under the window so that’s why they want the radiator there.
I don’t have any radiators under the window in my own home tho
Good job man
How are you getting on with the heat geek course?
My brother, you are an excellent pipe fitter. Did someone teach you that or was that a self teaching thing?
Loving the vids PB . 😁👍
I’ve found this channel after deciding to go into gas engineering, have no previous experience in plumbing either but I am enjoying the course so far 3 weeks in, once qualified I’m hoping to get my experience with a domestic gas company and I’m finding your videos very helpful and interesting just to see what gear you’re using and fittings etc. I’ve got a long road ahead of me and I’m sure there will be ups and downs!
Just one question what’s the little mask about in your van?
Your a master of pipe bending Pete.👍
Hi Pete, since your a 3rd generation plumber I am curious would when did they start bending the pipes with the machines?
Nice install. Have to ask why did he want to change that fine monument to engineering?
I bought one after seeing yours and my hose leaked same as yours must be faulty rubber
Nice video mate, we’re did u get them swaging tools? I was also told we can’t use them anymore. On the hot tun is it 15mm in top and then 21.5 plastic coming out as thought d2 pipe had to be copper or push fit waste to take the high temp? Thanks
Hi love the video
Have you ever used the Spin Swaging drill bits
Mate your shit hot real professional makes me want too work at at higher standard boiler on tomorrow morning let's gooooo
Have you ever took a bath panel off and found 5 effing pipes ran straight across the bath panel !
Yes I have . Trebled the price of the job . Right b*ll ache re routing them all . Took the panel off and it was a wall of pipes . 🙄
Great job, would you not also fit a single check valve to cold mains before shock arrestor for fluid category 2 protection?
keep up the good work mate
Yes 👍 copper , copper no plastic (italian colleghe👋)
Really enjoyed this as always mega informative 🤙🤙
I wonder, why do you use copper for heating?
Do you use your local plumbing supplies? If you use internet based suppliers who do you use? Regards
Would like to know this too - PB?
Internet or name the local merchants you use....
I hate watching petes video his pipe work is awesome every time I fit a boiler I stand back look at it and get depressed 🤣quick question about the swageing tool what make is it also are you allowed to use it on gas I thought it had to be an approved fitting for gas 🤔
Love the videos
Class job
Does at cost more for the extra time bends take
Great video! I have the same boiler. How do I connect a Google nest to it??❤️
Great video! I feel sorry for the other utuber’s.
Hi Pete, the app is good but there are better apps currently out there. Currently, use ServiceM8 which also allows you to complete gas safety certificates etc. Does have some failings but Tradify currently has no intention to add forms to their app. This is a pity as they advertise that its for plumbers and gas engineers
Random question but thoughts on plastic push fit pipe ?
As Vaillants don't have a gas test point o the gas valve like a worcester etc, do you need to install a gas test point on all vaillants or just the ecotec plus?
Was the flue on the boiler asbestos
I had one to remove got quoted 3000 to remove
🤙 nice job chaps.
Great job, but doesn’t a PRV need 300mm straight pipe after a tundish?
On an unvented cylinder yes, not on a combi (I think)
I know, it’s a grey area. On a different note my old boss never bought sockets and didn’t like using elbows, me and the swaging tool are old friends. Keep safe
Also, I was going to ask I’m going to set up on my own in a few weeks, do you have any tips for a plumber setting out on his own?
Do you use Munsen rings for aesthetics only or is it to give
greater stand off distance from the wall for soldering/attaching filters etc?
