I agree - a low mileage, well maintained, 400hp 991.1S is the value proposition.
992 base models also have a valved exhaust and actually will give you some backfires in sport mode and you can launch at that 4000 rpm rev limit - no sport chrono required!

IMO, the C2/C4 Cab is the way to go, depending on where you live. I also think Sport Chrono is a must on the 991.2/992 gen. cars, and also on the 2014+ 991.1 manuals. Personally, I like the Sport Chrono with the clock, rather than the standard, which looks cheap.
That car looked to me as if it had the standard trim rather than the carbon fibre. Depending on the interior colour, I think it looks okay. I wouldn't pay for the actual carbon fibre, and I've been disappointed with the wood that I've seen. If I were going to spec an alternative to the standard trim, I'd choose either the leather or the brushed aluminium.
I might even keep it standard and not bother!

The last living image of Christ is put upon a Patients door at ST PETER'S HOSPITAL, ALBANY NEW YORK early 1980's as I watched the world stop from the bus stop at Kessler's Pharmacy. Go there, and ask to see the door with the last living image of Christ, and while there, ask to speak to the Red Cross nurse who saw me donating blood for the last time at THE MARRIOTT on Wolf Road in 2012, because as she walks by me, I blurt out to her: "you have seen the face of Jesus at ST PETER'S, haven't you?" She stops in her blonde tracks, and asks, " how could you possibly know that?" I told that nurse I knew, because I was there when that face was made.
