had my 21,000 mile 991.2 turbo s 2017 for 4 months. under warranty thank god, never had so many issues with a car brand. Wheel bearing, engine mount, condenser leak, handbrake issue, leaking rear wiper and yesterday tested the gutters in my sunroof and its pouring water out inside car down the side pillars by seat belt exits into car. If i get one more issue the car is going. However it drives amazing... oh and when i got car Nottingham porsche complete fools, did service and 111 point check for warranty..missed the broken spring on rear....i discovered it and was rusted on the snap so had been done a while
Wow Lee I’ve never seen a list like it on a new(ish) Porsche product - that’s crazy! Completely understand your frustrations. Fingers crossed the worse is over?! 991.2 turbo - what a weapon. Hopefully all good from here chappy Thank you for sharing
I am a car mad dad myself and also have a 992 Carrera S (manual clutch though) and this is the first video of yours I have seen. Really liked the honest review and agree with your points. Also good idea about donating the proceeds to charity! Shame not more youtubers do the same. Thums up from me! You have a new subscriber!
awesome stuff. i've had a 992 s cab for a year now, been babying it until recently, and i discovered that this thing is *fast*. it puts the power down so well for a RWD; as a contrast, the BMW F10 M5 is spinning rear tires all day when i hit the throttle, while the 992 is smooth. just a great car.
Great review thanks! Can’t wait to pick mine up in a week. 😊 Also really great that you donate the proceeds of your channel to such a worthy cause. As someone with a channel on my own (not this one or car related) I know how much time effort and cost goes into producing content! Bravo. 👏🏼
Just a note on the 911 seats. If you're a bigger gentleman with broader shoulders (around 50 inch chest +) you may struggle to fit in the (18 way) sport seats, which I believe you @carmaddad have. I sat in a 992 Turbo and I didn't really fit in the Sport seats. I kind of just sat on top and it was very uncomfortable. They do a (14 way) comfort seat which was much better. Just wanted to point this out if any bigger gents are thinking of buying a 911 and then don't fit in.
Nice video, I’ve run a 992 C4S as a daily for the last two years and concur. The best car I’ve ever owned by a mile, so easy to drive, so quick, even quite practical (for a sports car).
I sold my 992 2S and bought a 2017 V10 R8 and the R8 is a MUCH better car. The sound, the steering, and the overall feel are better than the 992 2S. It's exotic and amazing.
Great review. OPC Nottingham is my PCGB region OPC of choice (R8). I sit really between several regions (R5 North West & R8 East Mids) and in my experience of the OPC's who cater for R5 & R8 ...Nottingham are by far the best ...Look forward to more content

posssibly the worst dealer ever..my turbo s they missed blocked drains on sunroof and leak and broken spring on its 111 point check and service ...991.2 low mile turbo s. Zero attention to detail from them would avoid with bargepole. they made zero apology too.
Awesome thumbnail. One of the nicest Porsche photos I've seen. It's entirely the reason I clicked the video and the content then made me sub. Hopefully that's helpful info. Cheers! PS let me know if you ever want to upgrade from the 911 and take my 2016 Dacia for a spin. 90 bhp is no joke.
I think you nailed it. Sure, you can find a few faults, like with materials or road noise or tech package, small things like that. But, you don't find fault with quality and reliability. And, if you take it to the track, then it all makes sense. A key thing you said is when you said you got what you expected, maybe a little bit more. That is why 911s are so loved and have such good resale these days. Thanks.
Awesome video. I agree with your perspective after owning mine for a year or so. Absolutely brilliant car for nearly all purposes, especially the fun ones. I agree some of the switchgear and touch surfaces are a bit chintzy. Not terrible, but somewhat noticeable, gor me especially the power window and mirror controls. That’s about it. Enjoy your car, and continued good luck with the channel! I love the donation format.
Love what you’re doing with this channel! Awesome way to give back to your community!! I have the exact same car and spec as you - (mine is dolomite silver metallic), same spyder wheels etc but mine is manual which is a blast to drive. I have had more cars that I care to count but this one…I have never loved a car this much and I have no intention of ever selling it. I’m 6ft 1 and the only thing that drives me crazy about it is the visor doesn’t extend along the side window and the sun will pierce through that gap and blinds the crap out of me.
Hey 👋 Great choice in spec - often crave a manual. Thank you for the view and comments. Obviously I’m not struggling with the visor issue being a mere 5ft 9’’ 😂
Lovely to see this honest review. Something I’m beginning to think is that the 4.0 718 is the porsche of the moment IF you want the original experience of sound and dynamic ability. Very interested in your view
I agree whole heartedly chap - I’d love a 4.0 NA - just can’t stump up the dosh for a used GT3 any time soon but would be very pleased with a 4.0 718 - have reviewed a GT4 on the channel - LOVED IT!
@@CarMadDad If not a daily the 981 and 718 Spyder's are where its at if you are a B road driver. I prefer the lighter (120 kg) 981 over the 718 as it is obviously a bit more nimble with better power to weight.........Track is of course your GT3/4 territory.
This Californian immediately recognized Laguna Seca on the simulator. Turns Three and Four, if memory serves. Oh, and yes, the Porsche's nice. Well done.
New sub here! Having driven every generation 911 Turbo/Carrera/GT3, I must confess to me the 992 is too much of a polished luxobarge to be really interested in getting one. Of course I’m interested in following where Porsche is heading and have been doing over the years, having owned double digit P-cars from 4x 964s (2X C4, C2 & Turbo), a lovely 993 C2, C4 (.1 Tip) & GT3CS (.2) 996, 997 (.1 CS & .2 C2) s and the last one which were a 991.2 Carrera T before test driving several 992s (C4S & Turbo S). To me the 992 just grew out of being a proper sports car and into a comfy do-it-all grand tourer and along with the 2 things you mentioned on the negative side, along with the fact it gotten just too big for my liking, it meant I jumped off the 911 bandwagon and went 718 instead, which to me is the new Porsche of choice. Of course I kept my favorite generation 911 which is the first Porsche I’ve owned, a 964 C4 built to my taste, sporting a Bilstein suspension, a tuned 300hp engine breathing through a 100-cell sport catalyst and a shouty cup exhaust. Daily duties is carried out in the base E3 Cayenne which is perfect for trailering the 718 4RS to and from tracks in comfort.
Cheers for the view and sun chap - quite the ownership and product experience. I agree with you in the size and that the 718 really is the car of choice. I tested and filmed a cayman GT4 last year and it remains the favourite thing I’ve driven on UK roads this far. Can only imagine it’s superb on track. That being said - when I originally looked at options the 992 trumped everything for its daily ability which historically I needed. Now I have an EV for day to day - I’m wondering whether I can go more focused and live with something else… only time will tell 👌
I’ve just picked up a 991.2 C4 GTS with PCCBs, very tempting to always look at the best models Porsche are very skilled at subtle changes every year that keep customer continually changing, but for me I think whilst I have an older car, it’s 70K cheaper than the new one, so plenty of $$$ for Premium unleaded😅
Hi Dale, I’m looking to get my first 911(992) and wondered if I should go for a 4 or 4S as the amount of power worries me just going through two wheels. What do you think ?
Hi Gary I have the Carrera S It’s very sure footed for a RWD car however if you are unsure you will definitely not regret a 4S - and you have the added benefit of additional confidence in the slippy stuff
Great video. Nice to hear an experienced review from a normal person and not a journalist or youtuber who has the car for a few days max. Your ownership comments mirror my thoughts of my 992 S ownership. Have to say though, I swapped my PDK S for a Manual 992 GTS and it feels like a totally different car. As a weekend toy (not a daily) I find the manual epic fun. If you can find one to test give it a go, would love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you for the view and thoughts chap - v kind of you. 👍 Yeah I’ve had a few ppl mention the manual which I defo would have considered if it wasn’t my daily runner (which it now isn’t) at time of purchase. Trying hard to get a drive and film a comparison… watch this space!!!
Did you compare 911 992 to Mercedes E coupe before purchase? What's your take on E coupe? 911 could be my next car but not sure if I would get used to 911's interior glossy/matte plasticky vibe. I don't speed so a 911 C4 or C4S could suit my needs. Any insights will be highly appreciated.
I never considered the Merc chap as not my bag personally (although see why you would like them) I needed a all rounder including track car so Merc never got a look. As a day to day - the E Class would be up there but you are comparing chalk and cheese 🧀
They are allowed over here chap - a few of mine have had these historically and i would say 50% of "performance cars" here have them... Personally i'm a fan of old school see through glass 😂😂
You can have the rear side doors and rear quarter and rear windows as dark as you like but the driver and passenger windows have to let 70% light in. Something like that anyway
I talk about it in the video chap - it is louder than a luxury car but I don’t mind it personally - hence why I mention it. The louder the better for me 😃
Planing to get a Porsche approved used car as well. My targeted specs is quite similar to your car, primarily the GT silver, 18 way sports plus to name the few. So far still searching for those specs…can’t wait to get mine!
I have a C2GTS in Carmine Red coming June 25. Should be great. I skipped RAS, PDCC and PCCB are not available globally right now. Other than that, ticked most of the boxes.
Hi there Thank you for the view and comment. No way to simplify the displays in this car of mine. You are simply stuck with them. I believe you can slim down to 3 dials in a GT3RS however that’s a slightly different price point 😂
Where do these people come from ? They sure as hell don’t OWN a Porsche !!! I’ve never learned so damned much about my car from someone that will NEVER own one !
I had a GTS for 3 years. Nice car wonderful engineering but the overall costs for driving and tags and taxes just kill the experience. Worst of all is the terrible proprietary stealership experience where they just simply rip you off for everything then try to murder you on trades. It really is a scam
You mentioned you were worried about how much fuel you used when at the track, just what kind of mileage did you get? Interesting to know what that's like when you're driving it at the edge. Thanks.
I wouldn’t say “worried” about fuel use chap - I have just never spent soo much time out on a track day as my card have always needed time to recover / restore brake feel. On the edge it’s a weapon chap - sure footed and capable way beyond what I expected 👌 Turn everything up to max and grab it by the scruff of the neck - you’ll never look back 👀
Nice review. I noticed the wind noise, did you opt for the noise insulated lightweight glass? If no, have you tried one that got it and noticed any difference?
Good video. I'm coming from BMW land... You kinda touched on this, but what about lack of HUD as a negative? Also, BMW has larger iDrive screen and dash screens which are all digital as opposed to the fixed gauges of Porsche. I'm considering a 911 after my M8 if BMW doesn't make another decent looking coupe and wonder how much I'd miss those things.
I’ll be honest chap - although I thought those things made the drive and experience better - the DRIVE AND EXPERIENCE is FAR superior in the 911 - you won’t look back
@@CarMadDad Thanks for the reply. I have no doubt the car probably drives better. I'm assuming it's definitely more nimble. How about storage space? I would think, again having not experienced it, that the front trunk would be kind of annoying to use, that you essentially have to open and close it like a regular hood as opposed to an easy open and close trunk.
Could be I guess if you need regular access to big luggage space I don’t mind as don’t really use more than the frunk - no more annoying than opening a boot IMO
@@CarMadDad I was thinking just things along the lines of grocery shopping that I would normally put in the regular trunk with easy access but now would go in the frunk. I'm going to try and go back to one of the Porsche experience centers here and drive one.
Happy Birthday 🎉mate, I think spending it with a 911 CS is not too shabby at all😂. Thanks for sharing the vlog and I look forward to further updates. Cheers, Kevin
Cracking video. These modern 911s just do everything really well. And unless you're doing track days all the time, a Carrera S will nail almost every task.
I had a 2017 911 S with a manual. Very nice quality and fast....but so fast that you can't really enjoy it much. Also pretty heavy. I enjoyed my 2009 911 base more cause it was more fun to drive and go through the gears. I don't have the 911 anymore and I am an early list to get a Lotus Emira as well as the 911T. Once I get both I will keep one and get rid of the other. I like the quality and build of the 911 and long term value, but I think I will like the uniqueness of the Emira more which is about impossible to get.
@@CarMadDad Hopefully one day I get the Emira. On it's fourth delay coming to the USA. Now supposed to get it in October and I am 4th on the list in my State. Will be about 11 months to get the 911T. Will update when something actually arrives!
This review popped into my feed for some reason. Its good that you're getting enjoyment from the car but to be frank I find most of the 992 Carreras to be a fairly bland experience, the 3L twin turbo is a good unit but overall the standard line have become a series of grand tourers with dial up HP and torque numbers. They are very different to the NA cars of old and NA GT division cars that really are the icons. On track you may be able to keep up with a GT4 for one or two laps but then it will be game over being fair you're not a track rat and you pointed out you purchased the 992 C2 as a daily driver. The rear axle steering makes a very significant difference to the handling of both the 991 and 992 series cars (literally game changing), more so as these new 911s are getting ever larger and heavier. Personally, I would pick a GT division car every day of the week (I don't know anyone that wouldn't) - the 991.2 GT3 Touring was a great car very similar to the much loved 911R and the RS is simply next level. Final point, the 992 interiors could have been lifted from any Benz/BMW or Audi - just bland. As some one that has owned Porsche sports cars for ~ 20 years plus five years of Cup, this is the first water cooled generation I haven't purchased - I haven't given up completely with Porsche (still own two GT div cars) but decided to take on a 296 GTB in preference to a 992 GT3 RS. PS not trying to be negative but pointing out there are very different perspectives on the 992 911 series and perhaps your review reflects a relatively narrow ownership window/experience. PPS watch out for the depreciation (if it matters to you - it may not).
Thanks for your view / thoughts. Review popped into your feed as you obviously have past watching videos around Porsche (would imagine) Understand it’s not a GT car - having spent a good few weeks with a few they were too hard for what I originally needed the car for. FYI - the 992 can stick with a GT4 and outpace it - Silverstone ☑️ Bedford ☑️ Donnington ☑️ (could be down to the driver but I doubt that based on myself being the CS) I agree it lacks the NA character but I also believe the turbo pick up gave it the extra speed to outdo the cayman. (ONLY MY EXPERIENCE) as is the whole video. So far depreciation is no worse than the GT4 j nearly purchased instead and so at the moment I’m comfortable… yet to own a car that doesn’t go down in value 👍
Hi chap 👋 And thank you! Probably not if I’m honest. I’m not convinced the extra power and springs are of any advantage on the road and I can form everything up on track…. Not sure what will be next to be honest 🤔 Good problem though ay!
Generally speaking VAG across the board, accept Bentley and Bugatti have been gradually reducing the interior trim quality from everything I have seen and it’s year on year… constant. Such a shame to see them constantly bundling software and dropping material quality.
The low profile tires add to the road noise and may damage your wheels. If you are configuring your Porsche get the 19” & 20” wheels. This will give you a high profile tire.
I’ve been trying to concentrate on the video while also trying flipping my phone around to gauge what watch it is 😂 dare I say Tudor. Either way lovely motor and a cracking update video!
I think you are letting yourself down by not understanding the difference between unleaded and super unleaded petrol, let alone what ethanol does to mpg..... Your engine will have its ignition retarded to prevent knocking and thus reduce power, efficiency etc. HTH.
why do you British have to be such a nitpickers? you're driving a frickin 911, a dream of many! Enjoy it and stop looking for things that aren't really a problem!
Not nitpicking - trying to give a full ownership overview and provide feedback. I bloody love the thing (2 1/2 years ownership so far) Cheers for the view (I guess) 😅
Ive had 911s for years. 997, 2 991s, 991 GT3RS, 992 S, 992 GTS. I recently sold my 992 GTS because the car has become so sterile. The turbo motor is good with the transmission but its boring when compared to the NA cars of old.
I think that’s the great part - except for tyre and brake wear the car is untouched and more than capable - certainly holds up better than my previous m cars which are “track ready”
In other words, you have just pointed out what a privilege it is to own a 911. And I agree with you 😎
That’s a great way to look at it chap - yes 👍

Great review and I love that you support great causes, definitely subscribing now.
Cheers fella 👌
Did you compare 911 992 to Mercedes E coupe before purchase? What's your take on E coupe? 911 could be my next car but not sure if I would get used to 911's interior glossy/matte plasticky vibe. I don't speed so a 911 C4 or C4S could suit my needs. Any insights will be highly appreciated.
I never considered the Merc chap as not my bag personally (although see why you would like them) I needed a all rounder including track car so Merc never got a look.
As a day to day - the E Class would be up there but you are comparing chalk and cheese 🧀
Hi Dale how does the Road noise compare to the M2 I am considering selling my M2 for the Carrera S
Pretty similar I would say chap
Legitimate question - why don’t cars in the UK ever seem to have tinted windows? Is it not allowed over there?
Legal restrictions on the strength of tints on drivers and passenger windows. Rear passenger windows can be tinted to whatever level.
They are allowed over here chap - a few of mine have had these historically and i would say 50% of "performance cars" here have them... Personally i'm a fan of old school see through glass 😂😂
Ahh. Thanks for replying. It might be the sun over here in Aus but you rarely see a car without it here.
911s feel so much more airy in the back with clear glass. Clear glass is certainly my preference 👍
You can have the rear side doors and rear quarter and rear windows as dark as you like but the driver and passenger windows have to let 70% light in. Something like that anyway
Interesting ‘real world’ review/round-up, thanks. 👍
Glad you liked it!
You make a couple of comments about noise. Specifically how do you find tyre noise? This is one of the main criticisms of the car
Sounds like you have fantastic taste 👅
just make sure u find one with chrono/PSE...a must for menwhen i was lookimg for one..Goodluck!
I have a C2GTS in Carmine Red coming June 25. Should be great. I skipped RAS, PDCC and PCCB are not available globally right now. Other than that, ticked most of the boxes.
Love Carmine Red chap - great choice. Roll on June 25 x
Thats my birthday and I am planning to get one for my next.
Great vid! Considering one, myself. And eat a sausage roll for me! Cheers from the States!
Oh awesome dude A you won’t go far wrong 😑
Hello 🇬🇧
Hi great video , but you do know you can simplify the display so the dial are bang on ,in the middle of the steering wheel,
Hi there
Thank you for the view and comment.
On a 2 year waiting list to get this same model but in manual.
Nice review 🥂
Yeah great choice - wonder if you’ll have a hybrid???
I have a 2022 Carrera S Cab in a manual and you will luuuuuuuv it! So much fun!
I had a GTS for 3 years. Nice car wonderful engineering but the overall costs for driving and tags and taxes just kill the experience. Worst of all is the terrible proprietary stealership experience where they just simply rip you off for everything then try to murder you on trades. It really is a scam
Obviously you have more experience than I do on this chap - will keep you in the loop 🎥
On the edge it’s a weapon chap - sure footed and capable way beyond what I expected 👌
Turn everything up to max and grab it by the scruff of the neck - you’ll never look back 👀
Go to a racing school and find out for yourself !
Nice review. I noticed the wind noise, did you opt for the noise insulated lightweight glass? If no, have you tried one that got it and noticed any difference?
The glass is standard chap
Not lightweight
Could be I guess if you need regular access to big luggage space
I don’t mind as don’t really use more than the frunk - no more annoying than opening a boot IMO
@@CarMadDad I was thinking just things along the lines of grocery shopping that I would normally put in the regular trunk with easy access but now would go in the frunk. I'm going to try and go back to one of the Porsche experience centers here and drive one.
Then brace yourself for the purchase chap - you won’t mind a drunk I promise 😂
Awesome Tudor
Why thank you ☺️
Happy Birthday 🎉mate, I think spending it with a 911 CS is not too shabby at all😂. Thanks for sharing the vlog and I look forward to further updates. Cheers, Kevin
Cheers Kevin 🫡
Cracking video. These modern 911s just do everything really well. And unless you're doing track days all the time, a Carrera S will nail almost every task.
Yeah hit the nail on the head chap - do well on track all things considered 👌
I honestly think a Carrera (not S) is actually more than enough on most situations !
i agree! I love my porsche 911 targa 4 gts
I bet you do buddy!
Love the honest review!
Cheers P 👋
Literally puts me off buying a Porsche.
What does?
You know fella.
@@BakerDeltaFourI’m afraid I don’t 😅
Yuh dun know 🇯🇲
Anyone’s guess at this stage 😝
I had a 2017 911 S with a manual. Very nice quality and fast....but so fast that you can't really enjoy it much. Also pretty heavy. I enjoyed my 2009 911 base more cause it was more fun to drive and go through the gears. I don't have the 911 anymore and I am an early list to get a Lotus Emira as well as the 911T. Once I get both I will keep one and get rid of the other. I like the quality and build of the 911 and long term value, but I think I will like the uniqueness of the Emira more which is about impossible to get.
Sounds like a good few purchases made chap - I’ve not yet seen / experienced the lotus so please keep me posted 🙏🏻
@@CarMadDad Hopefully one day I get the Emira. On it's fourth delay coming to the USA. Now supposed to get it in October and I am 4th on the list in my State. Will be about 11 months to get the 911T. Will update when something actually arrives!
Awsome video. CMD are you wearing a Black Bay GMT ?
Thank you - yes - well spotted
What’s the name of that tune if you don’t mind me asking. Beat is🔥🔥🔥
Hi there 👋
It’s one from audio network that’s I’ve purchased for use on you tube. Not sure of name - maybe worth a Shazam?
P.S A lapel mic would really help audio, not good in the car
Noted chap - cheers for sticking with me - work in progress!
Beautiful Tudor GMT
Why thank you 😊
I can’t get past the flagrant use of a sausage roll with the alcantara steering wheel..
A purposeful use of disregard 😛
Nice balanced review
Cheers Roger 👌
Review popped into your feed as you obviously have past watching videos around Porsche (would imagine)
Understand it’s not a GT car - having spent a good few weeks with a few they were too hard for what I originally needed the car for.
Nice car, sorry that you have the steering wheel on the wrong side...
Appreciated
Great review man. GTS next?
Hi chap 👋
And thank you!
Probably not if I’m honest. I’m not convinced the extra power and springs are of any advantage on the road and I can form everything up on track…. Not sure what will be next to be honest 🤔
Good problem though ay!
Love the PS sweat shirt.
Cheers fella 😘
As a Carrera 4 owner for 15 years I continue to be disappointed by people posting videos about Porsches and NOT pronouncing Porsche properly.....
I apologise profusely Eifion… common as muck here at CMD 👍
Think silver is the best colour for a 911
I concur- obviously 😂
Generally speaking VAG across the board, accept Bentley and Bugatti have been gradually reducing the interior trim quality from everything I have seen and it’s year on year… constant. Such a shame to see them constantly bundling software and dropping material quality.
Seems like most manufacturers are cost saving where they can 🤔
Good video cheers! Is that a Tudor or Rolex GMT?
Thank you 😊
That’s my Tudor 👌
👍 nice watch
Cheers 🕰️
Glad you are still enjoying it Dale, no regrets leaving BMW.?
Not yet Peter 🤔
How can I reduce the tyre noise? Please help
Buy a Bentley 👍
The low profile tires add to the road noise and may damage your wheels. If you are configuring your Porsche get the 19” & 20” wheels. This will give you a high profile tire.
This doesn’t make a damned bit of difference……911’s are LOUD.
( from an owner )
Update! 4 months later the noise does not matter because the car drives beautifully
I thought it took only premium 93 or better octane.
It says 95 or 98 RON inside the petrol flap
Nice watch. Try getting a jubilee strap.
I have another watch with a jubilee chap - feel it’s a bit much for my day to day 👌 thanks for your input though 👍
I’ve been trying to concentrate on the video while also trying flipping my phone around to gauge what watch it is 😂 dare I say Tudor. Either way lovely motor and a cracking update video!
Black interiors are so unimaginative
Very similar to comments stating the blindingly obvious 😂
Head up, singular.

@@CarMadDad cool 👍 😊
Great video
Loved to own a 911 but best I can do is on my ps5 on GT7
🙊
Tyre not cheap eh
Nothings cheap on these things chappy 😂
@@CarMadDad yeh but it’s worth it
Agreed x
I am not a fan of the 992. It's huge.
Certainly is in comparison to earlier models - such this the evolution of all cars.
Weird, my 991.1 was solid interior.
Obviosuly an update there in the new gen chap 👌
What after you own a 911?
💭 Mclaren 😌
I’m not sure I could sign uk to the warranty costs / lack of reliability chap - but it’s certainly been on my mind
Tudor GMT?
Correct Sir
Great car, great review and love the watch!
Cheers chappy 👍
I wish he would have gotten to the point a lot faster.
Not my style 😉
Happy cake day 🎉🎉
Thank you 😋
Great video, but you really need to stop taking your hands off the wheel.

I think you are letting yourself down by not understanding the difference between unleaded and super unleaded petrol, let alone what ethanol does to mpg..... Your engine will have its ignition retarded to prevent knocking and thus reduce power, efficiency etc. HTH.
Cheers for the view / thoughts and comments - noted / will look into and educate myself 👍
Lost some credibility with the DD Tesla 👊🏻
Good news - it’s gone 😜
First!
👌
why do you British have to be such a nitpickers? you're driving a frickin 911, a dream of many! Enjoy it and stop looking for things that aren't really a problem!
Not nitpicking - trying to give a full ownership overview and provide feedback.
I bloody love the thing (2 1/2 years ownership so far)
Cheers for the view (I guess) 😅
Ive had 911s for years. 997, 2 991s, 991 GT3RS, 992 S, 992 GTS. I recently sold my 992 GTS because the car has become so sterile. The turbo motor is good with the transmission but its boring when compared to the NA cars of old.
Thank you for the thoughts chap - what did you go back to???
@@CarMadDad i got a AMG GTR.
Oh yeah - nice 👌
more B road drives dude
On the list ☑️
Putting standard fuel on Porsche? You mean regular fuel? Why buy premium car and fuel regular lol 😂
Cause you can and sometimes it’s not worth the premium
@@CarMadDad you actually getting worse gas Mileage and hurting the timing of the engine hope you know that.
Aware of this yes 👍
@@bman1668it’s called being penny wise but pound foolish. I cringed too when I heard him say that.
@@fkillahbro can't actually afford one if he's cheap on gas
Show the car more often, don’t wanna see ya face all the time
Will try in future
Manual for me and number plate tacky, but otherwise nice
Thank you for stating your preferences
A very overpriced icon though
Oh it would be wonderful if they were cheaper - agreed
“Overpriced” is a subjective statement though 🤔
Definitely not over priced!
Whats the longevity look like though if you're tracking it often?
I think that’s the great part - except for tyre and brake wear the car is untouched and more than capable - certainly holds up better than my previous m cars which are “track ready”
Holly crap you eat and drink in your 992 .?!!
Absolutely 👍
