2012 Jaguar XJ outside bottom window trim removal

How do you remove the small door molding on the other side of mirror

For that I believe you remove the mirror and then the same way just jam something in there and lift up. If not it's part of the mirror assembly. I've done a few different models and I can't remember which is which.

You would have to remove the mirrors to remove that extra piece. We thought about removing it but was unnecessary as the old vinyl wasn't tucked under there. The rear is the same. Small screw in the same area of the back doors.
