SUPERB Choice! A lot of ignorant comments people have posted but from someone who has a manual 360 and has pretty much daily driven it for the last 5 years I can tell you from personal experience you have an absolute gem on your hands! They say you can't be a true petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa but this is completely untrue, you must have owned a manual ferrari for true petrolhead experience! I've done over 20k miles in mine and it has simply been a dream come true. I have money to replace it and been tempted by a lot of other supercars in that time but can never bring myself to part with the car as just a five minute spin shifting with the iconic gearbox will put all other temptations to bed! There's faster cars out there, yes, there's more head turners, yes, but in my opinion nothing else can compete. They still are highly underrated and undervalued but they sound better than any newer v8 ferrari and have power you can actually use on the road without feeling restrained the whole time. Reliability has been excellent in my experience, ownership costs are low, it can be used as a daily driver in all weathers without any problems and values only go up and up making it a great investment even though mine was never planned to be. Congratulations anyway and hope you have as much fun in yours as I had in mine! If you want any genuine feedback or tips from someone who has experienced the car rather than the keyboard warriors then please get in touch. Congrats, the 360 is still a great looking car and the manual was definitely the way to go. I love classic sports cars so I know where you're coming from in this video. Yes it will break and yes you will have to budget for that but it's all part of the experience. Nice to see a youtuber doing this and taking viewers along for the experience. It's not all about 0-60 times and wraps it's about how you feel behind the wheel of something you have dreamed of owning since you were a kid, that poster on your wall is now parked on your drive. Great decision, a manual involves its driver so much more, it's part of the many things I love about my Opel GT (amongst all the other things I named in my "5 reasons why you should buy an Opel GT" video). A car can be fast, which all modern sportscars are, but it has to be involving in order for you to initiate an emotional connection with it.

Congrats Sam on your newest purchase. I always loved the looks and sounds of the 355 Ferrari and always wanted one and its simular to the 360 in the way its a raw driving machine.
Shes a beauty. And video or pics dont do it justice, the car needs to be seen live. Also one suggestion. I hope you dont have problems with electronics when it gets cold but if you do, one of the major things can be the door windows and the mechanism that lowers it slightly when open/close them. Ive had MANY MANY issues with that. The 3rd time they changed the motor(expensive). It didnt help at all (maybe for a month or so). There was nothing wrong with the motor even though everyone at the dealership said it is. Dealers and their mechanics for italian cars in general are not very good.. Until i found an excellent mechanic which fixed it for 1/100 of the normal dealer repair costs(I admit, a few times but thats not his fault but rather the Italians and their poor built quality regarding circuitry). I wish you safe and fast driving, hope you enjoy it to the full.

oh one more point. The exaust of an 360 CS and an F430 are the same. So you can use a F430 exaust and you get a very good CS sound on your 360. F430 has a little bit diffrent sound because it has 4,3 liters.

Totally agree with your choice. Manual cars drive like nothing else. My 1985 Toyota supra 5 speed drives like no other, even though it’s not got that much power.
*TopTip:* If you don't want always turn the Ignition ON or start the car in order to open the front trunk - there's a hidden "latch" under the steering column (LHD cars) so in your case it might be under the passenger glove compartment. Just pull it but be gently, most likely no one has ever touched it.

TL;DR they left manual transmission behind many years ago to focus on performance enhancements; manual-transmission Ferraris will definitely never be produced again, even as one-offs.

Great decision, a manual involves its driver so much more, it's part of the many things I love about my Opel GT (amongst all the other things I named in my "5 reasons why you should buy an Opel GT" video). A car can be fast, which all modern sportscars are, but it has to be involving in order for you to initiate an emotional connection with it.

Congrats Sam on your newest purchase. I always loved the looks and sounds of the 355 Ferrari and always wanted one and its simular to the 360 in the way its a raw driving machine.
Shes a beauty. And video or pics dont do it justice, the car needs to be seen live. Also one suggestion. I hope you dont have problems with electronics when it gets cold but if you do, one of the major things can be the door windows and the mechanism that lowers it slightly when open/close them. Ive had MANY MANY issues with that. The 3rd time they changed the motor(expensive). It didnt help at all (maybe for a month or so). There was nothing wrong with the motor even though everyone at the dealership said it is. Dealers and their mechanics for italian cars in general are not very good.. Until i found an excellent mechanic which fixed it for 1/100 of the normal dealer repair costs(I admit, a few times but thats not his fault but rather the Italians and their poor built quality regarding circuitry).
I wish you safe and fast driving, hope you enjoy it to the full.

oh one more point. The exaust of an 360 CS and an F430 are the same. So you can use a F430 exaust and you get a very good CS sound on your 360. F430 has a little bit diffrent sound because it has 4,3 liters.

Totally agree with your choice. Manual cars drive like nothing else. My 1985 Toyota supra 5 speed drives like no other, even though it’s not got that much power.
*TopTip:* If you don't want always turn the Ignition ON or start the car in order to open the front trunk - there's a hidden "latch" under the steering column (LHD cars) so in your case it might be under the passenger glove compartment. Just pull it but be gently, most likely no one has ever touched it.
