as an early subscriber, we've all been a part of the journey. it's been utterly brilliant. But, what happens now is even more exciting Sam. You've come a long, long way, unlike the ones you mentioned in the video. The quality, the surprise and the way you present content is what keeps us all glued to this channel. We've all been with you, hell, some of us prayed for you to get that CS, who knows. But we're all supporting you in anyway we can. You deserve it more than anyone. Waiting for the CS, staying subscribed, and ofcourse, a thumbs-up.
IMO, a 599 would be a great car to purchase to own for a year or two. You can't go wrong with that V12 and those great body lines. On top of that, the prices are reasonable and I think the values will hold strong. However, if you can swing the money to get "the right" Challenge Stradale, that would be amazing!
Only Sam could make a video in which 90% is a talking head but make it so engaging and enjoyable. Your language and story telling is second to non. It’s been an epic journey. Congrats, STG.
Happy for you Sam. I too, often said “I’ll never sell this car”, but eventually you move on to new memories and new experiences but will often reminisce gleefully about the one you moved on from.
I remember the 4C & all the cars since, the channels grown, you’ve grown & I wish you much more success. Over the years you’ve given us all great content & you deserve that CS. Looking forward to seeing your choice.
The 4c sells for 60 70 also nowadays. But cheaper to hold

Love the 612 interior but the exterior just doesn't do it for me. A 456M would be pretty awesome imo, v12, last popup headlights, still carries the 90s aesthetic and a 4 seater.
So happy to hear you finally say you’re getting a challenge stradale! Been watching you since the 4C days, through all the eurotrips with the boys, all the car reviews, and always heard you going on and on about the 360 CS the same way I do the 430 Scud and 16M. This feels like the end of an arc and the beginning of a new one.
I genuinely love that you, sam, have kept that 360 for as long as you did and had some many epic memories and trips with it. You didnt do the typical youtuber thing and buy it then sell it after 6 months. It was a car that you loved and cherished. I think I can say for all of us here watching this video and that have followed the journey with that car that, yes, it will be missed, but... bigger and better things are to come for you and this channel. I am so happy that you have stuck to your guns and have decided to hold out for your dream car! No one deserved this more than you. It will be a momentous day and video for us all when you reveal that Challenge Stradale! I cannot wait to see the car and all the memoires that you will make with it. Thank you so much for not going the typical youtuber route and testdrive a thousand cars before revealing a car. You always wanted a CS and thats the only car you should focus on. This straight forward approach is so much more entertaining to watch.
you and that 360 will always be remembered. in fact when you first got it, my dad landed his first purchase on his first ever super car, a 991.1 Carrera s. My self and my dad have been tuning into your podcasts and videos each week and you have really guided us into what cars to buy and when and we are eternally grateful for that. directed by you and Tony, my dad went on to buy an AMG GTR and he loves it but i will always remember that Carrera as being the first time that my self and my dad could have fun in our own supercar and i do remember seeing him cry (first time for as long as i can remember) when he let that car go. loosing the first of anything is difficult but it is always remembered with a smile. i cant wait for you to get that dream car, the challenge stradale, and finally, i want to say a big thankyou from myself, my dad and all the STG fans watching you from that beginning moment. we will always remember that 360.
FF would be a good choice. 4 seater family car and a v12. Win win.

One tip Sam, if before you buy a 612, try and pronounce Scaglietti correctly😉. Just pretend the g isn't in the name, then you'll have it nailed.

The way the quality of your content never stops improving is proven by this video: basically 17 minutes of talking made an absolute pleasure to watch beautifully shot, in multiple cool locations, funky angles, great flow from one shot to the next and on top of that just good, let's say storytelling. I wouldn't mind some grand touring Ferraris like the 612 getting some love in the meantime before the CS, but it seems like your mind is already made up. Been watching since the earliest days of the 4C and it's been an amazing journey to follow and I very much hope there are many many years of STG ahead to look forward to!

I’ll probably sell my 360 when I physically can’t drive her anymore!

Great journey Sam…the stop gap car in between 360/CS makes a lot of sense. To allow some breathing space in between 2 albeit different 360s, content wise and to solve the ‘family trip in an interesting car’ conundrum…a manual 612 would be perfect for all of those reasons and more
For me, perhaps one of the best videos you’ve done for a while because it was so heartfelt. I liked the fact that you did so much with that car and I hope you manage to do the same with the Stradale when you find the right one (and please find one that you are happy to take on track). Considering that you’ve been banging on about the Stradale pretty much since I started watching the channel, there’s no better way to mark ten years than to make it happen. This might be one of the few times that videos from a RUclipsr about ‘my next car’ will be worth watching, as you will actually be buying one and then using it rather than selling it on almost immediately. 👍
Out of that entire Joe Macari show room........the Delorean Time Machine in the back 😍. Lol otherwise the 550/575 has always been one of my favorites going back to when it was a cover car for Need for Speed High Stakes.

I've been rooting for you to get the CS for YEARS and I'm so happy for you to finally take the leap before prices surge even more (like the 430 Scud - my dream car)!
Selling a beloved car will stir up mixed feelings, but there is always a point at which you just know that it is time to let go. The trick then is, to find another car (or anything else) which will match or exceed the experience. This boils down to what you value at that time, the most. The FF probably hinted at that. But then, it is best to buy something (whatever it is) when feeling present, not when feeling lost, excited, or desperate. Pause, take stock, and then seek something which will be satisfying to own....easier said than done for some.
Absolutely loved the 360 content and also the fact you wanted it to be a forever car and not just churn content.... can't wait to see the next step up!
The 360 CS is the car for Sam no doubt but I am a bit surprised that there was no mention of the 599. It's always been one of my favorites and is in the same era as the 612.

I like the way in which you have acknowledged your sale of the beloved 360 Modena. Really emotional! You have said that you are waiting for the right 360 Stradale!! There are not many, as you say. There is a 2004 RHD Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale F1 @ Dick Lovett, Swindon. It's in Rosso Scuderia, 24.8K miles on the clock, £209K. No bonnet stripe. Carbon fibre bucket seats in red, harnesses, fire extinguisher & looks absolutely stunning! Perhaps that you could go & see it on your channel, please. I am sure that Dicke Lovett will welcome you!! That would be such a good way of starting your journey, on finding the right Ferrari 360 CS!!!

599s are still beautiful and in my opinion a lot better looking that the 612. Also the HGTE package on a 599 makes it a lot better with the suspension and brakes being more dialed in.

I’ve been subscribed since 2015 when you Seb, Shmee, and Paul were in Monaco and you just collected your F-Type. I couldn’t be happier seeing you going to officially source your dream car. My dad a couple of years ago bought his dream car. A 2014, 991.1 manual Porsche 911 Carrera. It was an amazing feeling seeing him get his dream car and I have the same feeling with you and the 360 CS. Can’t wait to see when it comes to the channel!!!!

Most automotive RUclipsrs only keep their cars for six to twelve months. I mean, how long did you have that 540C? So six years, plus all the road trips abroad, the amount of mileage you done, is actually quite impressive.
The Challenge Stradale is one of my all time favourite cars, but I have to be honest here, I don't think they are worth 200k. Mind you, not many cars have as much character and soul as those things do. A V12 Ferrari would seem like the next logical step forward I feel.

It’s rare to see a youtuber not follow the well trodden route of “ buying my first supercar” and the subsequent exhaust/modifying/selling videos. You clearly loved that car and I’m pretty sure it was one if not the best example in the country and the new owner is a lucky man!! Excited for the arrival of the CS. Great video.
I'm thinking more on the lines of a 575M Fiorano or 599 If you fancy a practical Ferrari GT car....Then there's always a 458 or 430 Scuderia.. Good choice in the end. You jammy git Sam...👍👍👍 I take it the GT3 is also on the way so you can purchase the Dream....

Great video. Very eloquently put. Your thought processes and car deliberations are very similar to mine. The CS is the way to go and realising that pursuing that requires focus. I now can’t wait for the reveal video.

Being very close in age to you, I had the same admiration for the 360. Always remembering that iconic Top Gear CS vs. RS episode.
When you first floor the 360 I supported the decision so much because I shared all of your feelings about it. All this to say, some of in your audience also had an emotional attachment to your 360, and we share in the sadness of seeing it leave. On to the CS!

I think a higher milage F12 would be perfect for you sam. Less depreciation and one of the best sounding V12s ever made.
Congratulations on achieving your goal of the Strad. Hearing your story, I am happy for you. As a non Ferrari guy I can't fully get it. It seems like a lot of money for a model change of the same car. I know, I know... people explain it is like two different cars. It will be lighter, sound better, not be a gated manual and have a little more kick that the Modena apparently lacks. But it is a 360 with an F1 that finally works. It certainly will be better from an investment standpoint.

Nice upgrade! Though I do feel the 360 CS is overhyped. You already had bucket seats, and a manual ‘box, while the CS flappy is still of the old kind so somewhat dimwitted. Yes, the upgraded bits and bobs are nice, but not exceptional, things like the uprated brakes are probably only noticeable on track. Not that the CS isn’t the most desirable 360, just not 3 times as much!

Hi Sam, you filmed my CS 5years ago at Denbies Vineyard. Car has sadly left the collection now replaced by a GT2RS. Great noise but beware the bills can be eye watering and mind the dreaded dashboard red X.
Having followed since the first 4C Monaco visit this video, particular the parting words and 360 clips actually brought tears to my eyes!!!!!
Being a BTG listener I already knew that the 360 is sold but watching this video made me wanna cry - especially the last part of the video. The 360 is almost synonymous with STG and I can't see it go. I hope you get a CS very soon.
