A planetary siege on a Hive world was broken when a Snakebite’s squiggoth called Stompy (Yes, That’s its actual name!!! 😂), who was renounced for being PARTICULARLY stupid even by Squiggoth Standards and had a routine habit of going rogue, much to its owners continued annoyance, started to randomly chase the Governor of the planet through the ENTIRE HIVE and his palace.
The reason why it chose to chase him?
It got distracted and fascinated by the shiny medals on his chest and wanted to have them!
The chaos it left in its wake was biblical and gave the Orks the opportunity to steal the Hive and label the Squig and his owner as heroes!

Holy crap, I remember Dinosaur King, I was legit invested in that show as a kid. I remember when my local TV station changed its start time to 7am and I'd set my VCR to tape it so I wouldn't miss episodes if I slept in.

The Megadon *has* to have been a reference to the Dino Riders cartoon. Because that's exactly what that show was about. Also, *yes* Treasure Planet reference-- criminally underrated movie with a fantastic aesthetic.
Another fun animal could be the megaaldon that the Charcharadons keep in their aquariums I don't know much about them but they seem cool.

Also, here’s a Tier List Idea, Best Transport Method in 40K.
Necron Monolith. Heavily armored, heavily armed, self-repairing, hover and teleport capable, and you don't even have to be inside it to be transported by it, just step through its portal from a safe location.

Fenrisian Kraken is perfect pet since it can recover treasure from under the sea.
The problem is that it brings you 30% of the planets seabed with the treasure
I feel as though it’s important to state that the Crotalids don’t always disappear, only when the chaos gods are feeling devious(usually titsnitch) so there’s a chance that the crotalid will never screw off in your lifetime

I'd Rank the Perfect pet for an Inquisitor.Void Kraken? You could literally whipe a Solar System (Size dependent since the bigger the faster it does it with exception for the sun) with this thing (Can also be used for intterrogation. "If you don't confess your homeworld will be crushed.") or make an army of them (If you wait a bit). Also if you need to flee the System or get followed by an enemy Fleet you can just let it crush them in one move and it can move from one system to the next. I bet it would be the perfect pet for an Inquisitor. Also Bonus you can kill the entirety of london with it and this time the londoners would be usefull for once.
You will put some respect on the name ‘Dinosaur King’! I loved that show as a kid. Then again, I was a dinosaur kid, so there is that too.

if there ever is a part 2, you should look at other creatures found in necromunda. There are giant rats, weird cat things, mini votann robots(that i think would be fantastic pets), and many, MANY interesting animals that could become pets. There is an entire house with beasts as a secondary theme!
Also, an Age of Sigmar version of this list would be genius

I really fkin like reading books. This includes ones not originally in English. Often translated from languages like Chinese. One of 'em, called " *Star Odyssey* ", has an item the main character receives through various means. The item in question is simply called "the slipper", and is literally just a slipper.

If you are, say, a human-cyborg from the golden age of humanity who got tossed about in the warp but got thrown out as an absurdly powerful null, (I'm thinking basically "inverted" Magnus levels of null,) you could probably drive the warp out of it and get it fixed up, in which case there is no better best bud.
I just wanna see some ancient engineer character who helped build it, became a null after the whole scouring debacle, and in some manner due to ancient tech can live indefinitely, (what the space marines wish they could do,) it'd be perfect. I just want the movie "Iron Giant" on steriods where instead of dying to the nuke, the giant grabs it and throws it back.
