Well that was just EXCELLENT! So melodic. I liked his tones and especially his attack on the strings. The drummer was no slouch either. He whole band very complimentary behind Andy.
The guitar playing is incredible, but the thing I liked best about this song is it took me somewhere and evoked a real feeling, almost a longing. Thank you for that!
This is the guy you want playing on your album. What a Jem of a guitarist. I love the chord changes . There not these over the top Jazz chords just the right amount of not being predictable but giving you what you ear wants to hear. Great chops. Hope he sticks around for years to come.
Watched him play with Joe Bonnamassa tonight at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and they tore it up!! If I'm not mistaken I saw him with Vince Gill a few years ago also when he came to knoxville.
I was halfway through listening to this thinking how magical it was and how brave and challenging it was to keep it together at such a slow tempo. Brought to mind a "David Gilmour" sort of vibe. Until I realized I had my RUclips playback settings on 1/2 speed. Perhaps a hidden lesson to be learned?
