Most of us musicians have trauma and life experiences that make our music an escape from the daily struggles. I’m so grateful for my guitars and gear to allow me to check out for a few moments
I remember being in the audience, jaw dropped at Asher playing like he lived it and loved it. Great experience seeing someone so young with so much passion for the music 🎶
I’ll put this right up there with SRV’s version in the way that these two artists put their own spin on it. Much respect. Actually brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. Just like the first time I heard SRV’s version on Armed Forces Network Radio growing up as a kid in Europe in the late 80’s. I used to record whole hours of the radio for all the classic rock they played. I got this haunting song I’d never heard before but the tape ran out before I could the artist’s name. I looked religiously for that song until I found it on SRV’s The Sky Is Crying CD, already a big fan of SRV it was a welcome surprise. Im doing the same thing now with this awesome interplay between two great guitarists. God bless from Fiji 🇫🇯 ❤😎👍🤘🤙
Wonderful feel for such a young player, love that these old tunes are being reinvigorated by talented guitar players like Isaiah and Asher and several others. Great stuff.
Got some Eric Johnson/Joe Bonamassa kind of thing going on there. Awesome jam! That first solo was absolute heaven. Reminds me of that jam by Eric Gales, Matt Schofield, and Tomo Fujita
Amazing playing. I actually liked your solo better than Sharkey's. I can hear a bit of Bonamassa, Tom Quayle and Tom Mish in your playing. Instant subscription!
Amazing, Isaiah always blows me away. Asher, you have such a mature touch to your playing, dynamically and tonally allowing each note to sing, it's beautiful to see.
Isaiah, You give platform to people while maintaining your true humble nature. Making music and not competing!! Much respect for that. Asher... Holy 5#!7!! Eyes and ears open. You have my attention 🤨Rhythm section were great too
This dude is a monster..... can't even believe how well he did, considering that he was nervous at first. Great guitarist. Thinking that he will even grow . Lord have mercy . Asher Belsky, you are good. Of course, Isaiah sharkey is my man.
This has been the most musical i have ever seen, Feelings phrases and everything are just perfect, Than Watching Steve and JOe's G3 no disrespect for both artists but this one is for me..
🌹Wooooo hoooooo hooooooo Asher!!! ❤ 🎸 ❤ I have loved watching you since seeing ya play at Terrapin Crossroads!! Will forever miss that place! 😢 Keep shining and rising Asher!!! 😊😊😊
i've seen this so many times - i dig watching the the bands reactions to Asher's chops. His melody is so sweet - there's not a note out of place - and just it takes off!
After listening 100 times I should probably leave a comment.

Great playing Asher! Also crazy how Sharkey's voice sounds almost exactly like Jimi's when he sings that first line!
That first solo by Asher was absolutely unreal. I could listen to that all day. Keep them coming bro
💯💯💯
Bro it was insane can’t believe I just came across this video
3:30 was mental. Rare I prefer anyone’s solo over Sharkey’s but you got it. Crowd didn’t react accordingly, you’re the shit.
Spot on - that hook just pulled me in - now learning the solo note for note... but his touch is hard to match - Asher just kills man
Yea I was gonna same the same thing normally I’ll take sharkey over just about anyone but you killed it man.
@@Agrclark do your own stuff
Funny how one notes just does it. This is the feeling
@@thestrangemanreturns useless comment. You construct your own style by pulling from others.
Isiah's slow part was out of this world... god dammit. The way he phrases is, draws things out, and builds tension is fantastic.
Little wing is hands down one of the most beautiful soulful songs of the last 75 years and this was a great performance
I remember being in the audience, jaw dropped at Asher playing like he lived it and loved it. Great experience seeing someone so young with so much passion for the music 🎶
He is an old soul!!lolol Alotta listening and learning in those fingers already, absolutely incredible!
Seeing the pride on his face is a beautiful thing
Wowwww. Sometimes you think you’ve heard it all then this kid comes along and says hold my beer. He made Sharkey’s skills look human.

Little wing asks for a lot but also offers a lot, that's where you can see the masters.
might be the best Little Wing jam I've ever heard, unreal
Every month I come back to this video and wonder why it does not have 100x more views
Asher just killed that guitar solo. I love the look on Sharkey's face. Pure joy.
Wonderful feel for such a young player, love that these old tunes are being reinvigorated by talented guitar players like Isaiah and Asher and several others. Great stuff.

Amazing playing. I actually liked your solo better than Sharkey's. I can hear a bit of Bonamassa, Tom Quayle and Tom Mish in your playing. Instant subscription!
He kinda sounds like Melony Fey and sharkey put toghether
I feel like he's got hints of Mayer and Eric Johnson too
Musicians
4:11 did he quote ‘isn’t she lovely’? 😜
Amazing, Isaiah always blows me away. Asher, you have such a mature touch to your playing, dynamically and tonally allowing each note to sing, it's beautiful to see.
can we all just appreciate the way Sharkeys voice sounds like Jimis
sharkey's voice is actually perfect for this song!!
3 mins in and I can already see it. Love to see new talent. Not to mention Sharkey is absolutely insane.
Chalamet can chred, chit.
Isaiah, You give platform to people while maintaining your true humble nature. Making music and not competing!! Much respect for that. Asher... Holy 5#!7!! Eyes and ears open. You have my attention 🤨Rhythm section were great too
Amazing performance all around. Commenting for the algorithm.
I was browsing on my phone and holy. When Isaiah started singing, I thought Jimmy came back from the dead to sing
The force is strong with this one

Some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard. It’s like Asher took Isiah on a flashback to dangelos black messiah grooves with a John Mayer flavor.
🌹Wooooo hoooooo hooooooo Asher!!! ❤ 🎸 ❤ I have loved watching you since seeing ya play at Terrapin Crossroads!! Will forever miss that place! 😢
