The majority creating bike-related content on here is either pandering to the advertisers or afraid to say what they really think for fear of reprisals from the manufacturer. 44Teeth set the benchmark the others should strive so much harder to achieve.

The exhaust collector box is a ghastly mess. It's almost like they forgot to finish the bike off. BMW takes some tips from Ducatti.

Rad guards suck because they reduce cooling. i know you don't have hot weather there but other places do.

Not sure if Chris comes back to it later in the video but the it looks like BM have fitted Speedo Angels dash protectors... IMO they are total toss because they add a red tint to the screen and look fuzzy at certain angles.

Nice review! What is Shift Cam? Also why label "Lift" on the pillion cover, seems a little simple, perhaps add "Twist" on the throttle too.

Why does this and the S1000rr cost practically the same once you spec the M package and some of the more convenient options on both? It only makes sense as a barebones no options bike, but then, you might as well stick to a Japanese bike.

  • @villea1841

The problem this bike has is that here BMW dealers also sell Triumph.
And when you see the Speed Triple 1200 RS in the store you'll newer look at the Beemer again.

Whats the mileage per tank like? I'm going back to naked bikes once I'm done with my current panigale. It's either the Bimmer or a Tuono. I'm over my local Duc shop's terrible service and I need to be more honest with myself about the type of riding I do.
