- Part 2 of the "Re-organising my perfumes" series, is showing you my current perfume rotation! This is what I put into the little perfume cabinet in my room for easy reach.
Apologies all round for the audio and lighting discrepancies. Opportunities to film at the moment are few and far between, so I am doing the best I can with the schedule I have!
Consequently I also didn't even have time to add the perfume names into the video for you but I have listed everything that was mentioned below.
Hope you enjoy

I find that I'm not watching very many hauls. I have so many perfumes that I enjoy and I like hearing what others use in their current collections. It matches my current vibe. I really enjoy hearing about your rotations. Thank you.
What are your current go-to's? Sorry about the audio! I just didn't have time to re-film from scratch, unfortunately! If you missed part 1 you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/qYVYYoZdsaU/видео.html
Huge fan of the voice over 😍
haha thanks Rich!
I love these kinds of videos! Thank you for this relaxing (and cinematic 🤩) video 🥰
The dark color of Tender Romance is so beautiful! ❤️ And yes, Oh La La is perfect for the cooler weather… but I wear it for whatever 😁 I love how cozy it is 🤍 Orris Tattoo is one I have been enjoying lately too 🥰
Thanks lovely! Haha “cinematic” I like that. Sounds better than “crappy lighting” 😂😂😂
I enjoyed this video so much, Cherie! Your collection is so vicariously enjoyable!
Joanna, you boost my confidence with your words. I was disappointed with the quality of this one but you have made me feel better! Thank you. x
I really enjoy these videos where you arrange your existing bottles. Now that I think about it I find that the best part of fragrance hobby is to rearrange my perfume cabinet. Very pleasing to watch others do that aswel!
I have to agree! I love “playing” with my perfumes- not just reorganising them but also sniffing them even if I am not wearing them that day!
Love your cabinet. So beautiful and very well organised as well. :)
Thanks Purvi! xx
I am glad someone else has a subset of fragrances they keep in a separate room. 😂💕
Love your perfume cabinet!!! Lovely selection of fragrances, so well rounded. I also have re organized, and found that some of my favorites in cooler months, are also great in warmer climates. Samsara, is definitely a beautiful one. Cartier Panthere, is so interesting, I love musk note in that one. I really want to try Ylang Ylang Nosey Be, its on my list, along with TRNP parfums.
Thank you for watching! haha yes I love that little cabinet, I bought it second hand around Christmas time and I was so proud of myself for finding it! lol
you just show all my fav 😍 love this
never manage to get hold of velour d roses, but I will hunt it down eventually. is beautiful
Thanks lovely! haha I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes voleur de roses is quite special, Ive worn it a couple of times since filming this and I really enjoy it!
This video is so fun to watch! We on the northern hemisphere and it is getting a lot warmer this month. I just finished switching my own perfume rotation. I can’t wait to wear my fresher, greener fragrances. This week I am enjoying my Dusita Le Sillage Blanc, Nishane Ambra Calabria & Wulong Cha, Maison Crivelli Absinthe Boreale, and I am planning to revisit my Ormonde Women and Osmanthus by Ormaonde Jayne for the next couple of days! I wear MFK Amyris Pour Femme in cooler months but I found it may work in hotter days too if I spray it a bit lower on my body so I can still smell fresh but not too overpowering 😂
Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed :) What beautiful choices! You will be having a wonderful smelling week, for sure. Ooh ok I may try wearing Amyris Femme lower on my abdomen in the warmer days and see how I go.
What a lovely fragrance cabinet,Cherie. I can basically smell the golden autumn days in the first two rows (you are very close to my favourite season … well, spring is nice, too, if it wasn’t for my hay fever 😉). I am currently trying to reduce the number of samples I own by wearing and emptying the ones that I have already got dull bottles of. During the past two weeks I managed to empty most of my samples by Heeley and feel in love with all these beautiful and transparent compositions again. Emptying samples is quite therapeutic for me as the hoarder in me wants to leave a tiny little drop in them so that I can still hold on to it … but no! Some empty samples even ended up in the bin 😂! It feels good! Next up my travel size bottles!
Have a wonderful week!
Thank you Andreas! Well done on working through your samples! I’m trying 🤪
After some decluttering, I kept only about 40 bottles of perfume and as much decants and they all fit in one drawer and I don't need to move them around. But I love watching videos where people rotate their collection when season change. And yes, I noticed the shimmer on the Amouage bottle, lol 🤩
haha thank you for watching! I admire your resolve on the 40. Perhaps I will get there one day! xx
Amyris pour femme smells like the pages in a fashion magazine to me,😜 I am still trying to get to know it better
Ylang ylang nose be is stunning! I can't even use my bottle. I keep saving it for a very special moment.
Perhaps you will create the special moment by wearing it ;) x
"Mini" rotations 🤭Perhaps not so mini? Love that cabinet Cherie. Especially the colour. Certainly could use some LED strips, but a great way to organize the rotation. For me, spring (autumn for you) is a perfect time to get back into Cartier. Seems like the entire line was made for the transitional seasons. Just picked up the new Declaration Haute Fraicheur and it's one of the freshest in the men's collection. Twangy green cardamom, but perhaps not strong enough for the summer heat. Really enjoying it on its own.
haha well if I ever called it "mini" then an apology is probably in order! Yes I need to figure out how to light it, I'm not a fan of the coloured LED look but if I can find some "warm white" ones maybe that would do the trick. 😍 Enjoy the new acquisition! I have not tried that one.
Love serge lutens❤
hard to beat! I wore Chergui when I went out last night. Fantastic!
Your so beautiful!
You are very kind! Thanks for being here :)
Cherie, how do the doors of your cabinet shut with the fragrances on the door shelves? Do you find when you open it back up the bottles fall over? When I move into my own place I'd love a setup like that. Great vid, I'm alway nosy about what others are rotating through
That’s what I was worried about too but strangely no! Although it has to be said- I open the doors VERY carefully every time lol
Thanks for another great video! Not related to this video, but I wanted to ask you your opinion on the differences between Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac and Frederic Malle Musc Ravager? I have been able to sample the Initio but not the Malle. Is there a big difference? Is one more masculine? Do they have a big difference in terms of how they project and how long the scent stays on the skin? What is your preference?
thank you! Oh they are quite different, but I'll spend some time with both comparing over the next week or two and do a more in-depth comparison for you :)
I wonder if your Bengal Rouge would also fit into a comparison of this musky warm perfume category? There are so many fragrances in this category that I am curious about but they are quite hard to get in Canada and almost impossible to sample. A few can be bought from the US, but duty and the exchange into Canadian dollars is just crazy. It can almost double the price of a fragrance when it should only be about 20% higher that US dollars. Blind buys are something that are quite risky when things get into the many hundreds of dollars range. They have to be true loves.
Both of the fragrances I initially asked about can be bought in Canada through boutique shops. That would at least save paying duty.
I quite liked the full experience of wearing Absolute Aphrodisiac. Unfortunately it quickly became a close to skin scent. The smoky vanilla lasts in the base quite some time though. I have been finding that vanilla based scents frequently loose potency after a few hours of wear. I still enjoy them for what they are.
@@Jenn_N actually I spritzed the FM on today and was thinking about what I could compare it to and indeed I was thinking of Bengale Rouge! Let me gather my thoughts and get back to you, though in my opinion they are very different (the FM and Initio, that is)
Hello, very much enjoyed! Have you any parfum that reminds you of forest moss growing over a moist brick? (My sister's dream note!). Thank you!!!
Haha that’s very specific! There are a number of mossy perfumes I love but I’m not sure they have a wet brick element! Let me have a think 🧐
@@TheTopNote I know... brick equated to wet clayish dirt ;) thank you !
