I finally got to test BR540 🤦 when someone said it smelled like a dentist's office i thought it couldn't be that bad. It is worse...it reminded me of our local clinic back home when I was growing up 😭
Gris Charnel when I smelled it on paper was okay, it was nice. HOWEVER, when I sprayed on my skin and I smelled it wafting through the air, I fell in love with it INSTANTLY. It is now my favourite fragrance. I will have to try the Thé noir layering combo. But on its own it garners the most compliments than any other fragrance I own. Men especially compliment me on GC and I'm a guy. I always get the "woahh what are you wearing? You smell incredible"
Libre platine is already in stores where I live, I think you'll like it, it's more gentle , smells like a bit of iris to me? (though it's not in the notes). I think YSL is an amazing designer - absolutely love the Libre line, Cinema and Menifesto

If you like rose and you're not easily turned off to musk like I am, you'll love it. It is a beautiful light tuberose scent. It was the musc that gives it a very mature vibe but still very beautiful. I'm debating repurchasing and giving it a fair shot with regular wear. Also the bottle is just lovely to look at

Thank you for selling samples of your perfume collection, I have found a replacement for Vengeance Extreme in Mon Geurlain Intense. Not the same, but I find it similar to Forbidden Euphoria which I loved to! Now I just need a replacement for CK2
I have collected 360 bottles now (30 bottles per category for 12 categories) and I have never finished a single one. Mainly because I try to use and rotate them all. Its about 1 use per bottle per year. It would take me about 100 years to use a 100ml bottle. I am getting fairly close on one of my 30ml extraits but most of my bottles are very full.
OMG! I know that most are from your Decant Shop. The only perfume that I've gone through 3 times is Versace Crystal Noir. You have me hooked on the regular Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir. I love it. I just got another bottle of The Commodity Gold. It's perfect for Fall. Love both the YSL Libre Intense and the regular. I love anything with musk. Always have. Definitely adore the Baccarat Rouge. It's incredible. I'm hoping that for Chanukah my family chips in and buys me a full sized bottle. My mother and mother in law's favorite scent was Chanel No.5. I never cared for it. I love the Alien Princess more so than the original. I couldn't get on board with the Chloé Nomad. I wound up giving it to a friend. If I lived in Canada, I'd be over in a heartbeat to smell all of the incredible fragrances. Thanks so much for sharing! 🩷🩷
Yess definitely had a lot of help on these 🙈😆 but I've probably used the full Coco noir, no. 5 L'eau, Alien (older bottles are refills) and about half of the bloom of Rose edt, musc noir rose & musc noir and Levant by myself. I'm preferring the original Musc Noir these days but flip flop between the two. I also like to use up the smaller/mini bottles because I feel accomplished 🤭

I wish this was available in the UK. It’s so difficult to get ahold of perfume samples. Luckily I live in London and I can test most fragrances in the department stores
I think 2024 will be the year of empties for me. I haven’t finished very many bottles in my life and agree it is satisfying. I have been buying smaller sizes, especially on pricy fragrances like br540 and lost cherry. I don’t use them often but I like to have them available. That was a cool video.

Turns out it was just a sale but for some reason they called it "Last Chance" 🤷🏻♀️ so that was a little misleading lol but ultimately I'm glad that everything is as it should be 😆

Do you keep any of the empties to as part of a perfume graveyard/museum? 🤔 It makes me wonder about the future...since the bottles are basically art and fragrances are being discontinued so quickly...will they eventually become collector's pieces? I'd definitely keep the caps for use on testers. Adapting them to fit smaller collars is actually quite easy. Thanks for sharing!
Have you tried Trajan by Electimuss when it comes to a BR540 dupe? I tried a few months ago and thought it was totally like BR540, only better... Even bought a full bottle after trying it.

I have a sample of it and find it similar enough to other fragrances in my collection so it's a bit redundant in that way but I might get it just for the decant shop 😊

Perfume bottles are absolutely beautiful! I rarely get to the bottom of mine but following to see what people answer. I can’t throw them away.
I usually unscrew the pump and recycle the glass bottle. No emotional attachment 😂
