I could listen to you talk all day...and this is coming from someone who gets a headache when people talk for too long. Please never stop making your beautiful videos
I considered the original Angel the year it launched (before it had entered the US soil) rather avant-guard and never shrill. Bought a bottle from the Mugler boutique and got loads of complements back home when I did wear it. But as soon as it hit perfume stands, I could no longer stand it and the nauseating effect has stayed with me through the years, and has morphed into an almost allergic reaction to the stuff! Safe to say my definition of avant-guard has evolved 😹 .Lovely video as always!!
Missed the live transmission... but I will recommend it here: Mazzolari Lui. What a beast of a patchouli! As a reference, I would say Psychedelique is its "domesticated" version.
patchouli intense by Nicolai is a beautiful green patchouli supported by lavender ,orange, cinnamon, top and middle and patchouli itself holds up the base with support by Amber, musk, vanilla, sandalwood, and light incense really not the usual patchouli we all know and love by delicious none the less 🙏🙏🇮🇪
Don't worry. Both videos looks good. Part 1 is 18 minutes and the remainder here about 40 min, which you probably know by now. Lol. I am newish to your channel and have learnt a lot from your videos. I love this selection of Patchouli fragrances (even Angel extrait 😅). I will go back and see if you have a similar videos on Oud and Amber perfumes. I am looking forward to your best of 2020. Thank goodness there was actually something worth rating favorably this year!
Accorel Patchouli Essential is amongst the best in my huge collection of patches. A surprising frag of boozy patch. Simply divine! Bois 1820 Patch frag is also a top contender in my collection.
Loved the review! I just discovered your videos this year (one of the few good things that happened in 2020 🙂) and I've learned a lot watching you. Stay safe and look forward to your year-end list.
I have recently fallen back in love with Patchouli... I'm so glad I found this video! ❤ I'm on the hunt for a true patchouli scent.. is there anything your wonderful nose could recommend for me?
TFs Patchouli Absolute works perfectly with Oud Wood IMO but alone it is very intense Patchouli 😁. My favourite or should I say my Holy Grail of Patchouli is Horizon by Oriza L. Legrand 😌.
Mr. Persolaise, How can you commit such an abomination and leave out some amazing gems ;-) Kidding aside, thank you for talking about Patchouli. Love your channel What you have are perfumes where patchouli is one of the players, not the dominant note and certainly not soliflor. No Patchouli list can ignore the Holy Grail of all soliflor Patchoulis; PATCHOULY INDONESIANO by Farmacia Annunciata. This Holy Grail is criminally underrated and goes for $150 for 100ml Extrait de Parfum. I own 3 bottles of this juice that I can just spray on and get lost in its facets (listed notes: Patchouli) It is followed by the second best soliflor patchouli; Lorenzo Villoresi Patchouli. As you go to blends, Von Euserdorff Classic Patchouli is amazing, so is Bond-T Sammarco which is an amazing Patchouli with unsweetened Cacao (one of the best creative patchouli perfumes). Like Profumum Roma too from the blends but not as much as the 2 above. I also immensely enjoy Molinard Patchouli (has hint of sweet fig to my nose), and Reminiscence Patchouli (hint of gourmand/cake). Thank you for talking about patchouli and Spread the Fragrant Love
I have a sample from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier . It's patchouli , but it doesn't have the name of the perfume on it . If you know this house , would you know what it might be .
@@Persolaise whereas on me both Tempo and Wau Capitale have such a unique impression, that if I smell them on someone, I always go: 'that's Tempo' or 'that's Eau Capitale', instead of 'oh, that's a patchouli fragrance ' as I do with other patchouli fragrances, very good ones. These two just stand out.

Wow, what a kind comment, thank you.
I'm not sure *I* could listen to me all day... :-D
@@Persolaise you are most welcome,
I love love love Clinics Aromatics Elixer bath gel. It is so rich and elegant.
Ooooh, I should try to get it for Madame P.
Thanks for watching.
Trying to catch the rest of this before I start my working day . It’s a lovely way to start the day .
Enjoy :-D

Thanks very much for watching.
Honore Payan Patchouli Original (or Les Nereides Patchouli Antique) with a spritz of Coromandel on top...intoxicating!
Wow. Sounds amazing.
Missed the live transmission... but I will recommend it here: Mazzolari Lui. What a beast of a patchouli! As a reference, I would say Psychedelique is its "domesticated" version.
Ah, thank you. I'll keep my nose out for it.
Okay, ordered Sticky Fingers on your recommendation.
Hoping this Patch' grows on me... sticks on me :):)
I do hope you like it.
Oooh ohhh I love the patchouli scent . Anticipation for this video to find a good choice
Good luck 😊
How can anyone not love the Persolaise face x 😄
Ha!
Always loved Angel and it was unique once but just couldn’t now . Not keen at all but really good at the time .
Yes, I think many feel the same way.
I so love your perfume analogies’ truly poetic and yet down to earth and spot on ‘ amusing too x 😄
Thanks, Angela.
Just discovered your channel…. Absolutely love it ….. so informative and what an amazingly soothing voice and character. Love it! Keep it up
That's too kind, Roza, thank you. I hope you enjoy my videos.
Oh, I didn't know Tempo had Akigalawood 😮 I normally don't like it but in Tempo I don't feel it
That’s why sometimes it’s best not to know about notes etc.
Bought CDG blackpepper from your recommendation (and CDG 2), and I love it!
Ah, wonderful. Thank you so much for letting me know.
I loved rive gauche for women, thank you for this great video
Not at all: thank YOU for watching.
Caught both parts before work . Look forward to the 29th but sadly won’t be able to join the live . Happy Christmas to you and Madame p x 🥰
And the same to you too, Angela.
The video will be here waiting for you... technology permitting!

Thank you so much, Paula. You should be able to find an oud video, but not an amber one... yet!
Hopefully you can do the overview on the whole Bianchi line ....love to hear your take since you have the samples
I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks for watching.
Didn’t The Stones have an album called Sticky Fingers? I’ll have to try that perfume you’re trying out, I really like patchouli
You may well be right. Thanks for watching.

Gruffalodin, thanks very much for this wonderful list. I knew I’d irritate some people 😆
I’ll have to keep my nose out for the Viloresi.
I too love Molinard Patchouli (and Reminiscence good too)!
Cool shirt it's a retro groovy 60s feel
Thanks very much :-)
Used to love aromatics elixir and it drew many compliments but not sure that I miss it enough to rebuy though.
Well, our tastes do change, don't they.
Love patuly perfums greetings from the netherlands
Thanks for watching, Brigitte.
great great show.
Thanks very much indeed.
I love Serge Lutens Borneo 1834. Has a dark mood I love.
I adore it 😊
It would be wonderful for us to hear your opinion about Houbigant's "Patchouli Sauvage".
Thanks. I’ll see what I can do.
hi .ur new subscriber from India
Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy the videos 😊
I love Rive Gauche pour Homme. It's a hairy chested daddy fragrance.
Yes, in the best possible way :-)
Thanks for watching.
@@Persolaise definitely. And sometimes I wear it when I need to summon my inner Daddy. 😅
Persolaise may be showing temper but he ain't showing any Tempo 😢
😉
What do you think of Lord of misrule by Lush as a patchouli scent?
I confess I can’t remember it very well.
Happy Holidays!!!!!!

Have you tried Santa Maria Novella’s Patchouli?
Not for a very long time.
Love SMN Patchouli, to me it has hints of Rose super classy. Forgot to include it in my post
did you really use the phrase "honey trap"? 😬
I can’t remember. Did I?
