Vlogging is something I have been struggling with, like you said at first it is really awkward but over time it feels more natural. My channel is really small I only started in January and sometimes I do think who is going to want to watch my videos but like you said what’s boring to you is interesting to someone else. Thank you for the tips I literally love your videos 💕
I can't tell you how many times I started vlogging and just ended up deleting the footage because I didn't think anyone else would find it "interesting" Love hearing your perspective!!
Yup so true! We cant always be caught up with over thinking things or caring about what others think. If you want to be a vlogging youtube channel just plan content, get good angles, and make it interesting :)
Catherin i have spent 1 hour just watching your videos and for the first time ever i finally understand how to make a vlog. Other videos on youtube are so complicated to understand and i just could not sync with them. However, with yours, the language is simple they way you speak its draws peoples attention in and and for myself i was engaged through out. So a big thank you and i have subscribed so i will be watching your content from the beginning. Thank your making your videos and easy to watch and understand, i believe this is key for youtubers, using simple language and engaging the audience in you do it perfectly. Happy new year to you and your family and stay safe Umar
Every time I check out a new video from Cathrin, she has gained another 10k subscribers... her growth is EXPLOSIVE! Congratulations, and thanks for being a huge inspiration to all the small content creators (like me) out there!
Love these tips! So true about showing even the stuff that seems boring to us! In my travel vlogs that I did recently I really noticed simple things like the meals we ate were missing. I didn’t film going to breakfast because I didn’t think it was interesting. But I will definitely be filming things like that in the future
I’m about to start blogging on my channel! It’s a smart strategy and it adds so to much a channel and helps expand the content. This is going to really help set my channel apart 👌🏽
Love this. I feel like I'm boring all the time. Good to know it's interesting to someone else! Didn't think I was going to be interested in a video about vlogging, should've known I was wrong, I'm always interested in what Cathrin has to say!

To be honest, I have been watching your youtube videos for about a month and I finally made my own youtube channel and you got me to have the confidence and I have been pushing myself away from vlogging but I always wanted to do it so I might vlog next week. Thank you!
I was totally trying to make a video in a bunch of parts to start actually putting videos on my channel and I realized that when I had my phone flipped sideways I was literally just looking at myself on the screen and not the actual lens and when I actually looked at the lens, it looked way more natural than the two days previous that I had made clips for where I was literally just looking at myself on the screen so I totally understand that concept of not looking at your flip out part or the screen of a phone and actually Focus in your eyes onto the part of the camera or the phone it is actually filming the video. Definitely great advice.
Talking INTO the camera is such a strange feeling and definetely smth you have to "learn"! Again great & helpful video! Also amazing to get such a look into your daily life (Instagram).. Congrats to your new house! :)

I LOVED the tips in this video. I would love to know what people think is THE MOST important tip in this video. I have just done my first vlog and would love the help. :)
I really like the honesty of what it takes to create the scenes. From the b-roll, driving to an empty parking lot, to making a drink. Most youtubers don't give an honest look at what it takes behind the scene.
Yeah there's definitely a lot of work that goes into it! I will often film a screen a couple of times to get all the shots I want to get 😂 vlogging isn't as easy as it looks when you watch the finished video 🤗

Yes I definitely agree with you. I try to throw in some vlogs to my channel too just to mix it up from a normal sit down video. I like how it also gets you to think creatively
Who else loves Cathrin's videos? Her channel inspires me to keep going on my youtube channel, and her other channel with Alex is my go to! Who else was subscribed to Cathrin Manning before 2020?
a friend told me about your channel since I've been wanting to start my youtube channel and take it to the next level and your content has actually helped so much and gives so many helpful tips and examples

Hi! I started my channel using all the tips you gave (like posting once a week and making sure it’s a constant thing)! I’m really grateful for your advice and how you help new creators like me. ^^
Your videos encouraged me to start my RUclips channel during the Quarantine :) I am enjoying creating videos a lot more than I thought I would before I started!
omg, vlogging is so underappreciated! Editing, writing and coming up with ideas on a consistent weekly basis is one of the hardest challenges I've gotten. So if anyone out there wants to support and motivate each other, let's connect! I think creativity gets enhanced when we are in a community!
Super grateful for this video! I'm about to start vlogging but I've be conscious of the fact that I need the vlogs to tie in with my current content topics

this is crazy, I was just looking for tips on how to be a better vlogger and then I got a notification from you, that you uploaded a video on how to vlog😂😂
Us too! 😂
I love adding vlogs to my channel, they add character, personality and a sense of warmth to your channel ☺️☺️ thanks for your top tips as always!!
Yes I definitely agree with you. I try to throw in some vlogs to my channel too just to mix it up from a normal sit down video. I like how it also gets you to think creatively
IS THERE ANYONE WHO WILL WANT TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER? I’M ALL IN

What an accomplished programme. So professional. Bravo Cathrin.
don’t lie you’ve been binge watching these videos this quarantine to up your youtube game! 😂
ps i’m a small youtuber 🥰
True! What you said about revolving your vlogs around the same type of content you produce is very apt! Thank you once again Cathrin for the tips
Who else loves Cathrin's videos? Her channel inspires me to keep going on my youtube channel, and her other channel with Alex is my go to! Who else was subscribed to Cathrin Manning before 2020?
Ahhh thanks for being here for so long! 🤗
Me
I subscribed just before her channel blew up. I was around the 33,000 mark lol

Any positivity/wellness/health/self-improvement RUclipsrs out there who wants to support one another? 😄🚀 I'm all for helping each other spread the love 🌍

Loved this video! I’ve been wanting to vlog for a while but of course, I just feel and look super awkward. But these tips were amazing, thank you so much for making this video!
I don't think you're much older than I am, but I really feel like you're my youtube mom lol
Hi! I started my channel using all the tips you gave (like posting once a week and making sure it’s a constant thing)! I’m really grateful for your advice and how you help new creators like me. ^^
Why do I get a notification after 25 minutes and not immediately?! 😭
ughhhh RUclips does that sometimes!
Your videos encouraged me to start my RUclips channel during the Quarantine :) I am enjoying creating videos a lot more than I thought I would before I started!
who else loves cathrin??
(i’m a small youtuber btw)
hahah we all do lol
Dave Lemente Vlog ye
I love her the way she took 🥰
We all
gia gatte almost at 3k now 🌸remember when you had 500 subs and Mia told everyone to sub to you🌸
So happy you made this video - I have literally been looking for this as I recently filmed one and wanted some tips! Thank you x
omg, vlogging is so underappreciated!
Editing, writing and coming up with ideas on a consistent weekly basis is one of the hardest challenges I've gotten.
So if anyone out there wants to support and motivate each other, let's connect! I think creativity gets enhanced when we are in a community!
I’m interested ima subscribe... u should do the same and let’s network
Super grateful for this video! I'm about to start vlogging but I've be conscious of the fact that I need the vlogs to tie in with my current content topics

*"get your life together" is EXACTLY what I needed to hear today. Time to go edit =)*
There’s not a time you upload and watch another of your videos!!! Your channel has grown so much these past months it’s crazy!!! So happy for you 🥰
Absolutely love being this early! Anyone else?!?
(Small RUclips vlogger here btw)
yesssss thanks for being here!
got some tips that I’ve learned along the way of doing RUclips that will DEFINITELY help you all!
1. It's not going to happen overnight, be patient
2. Reviewing analytics on where to improve ur editing and pacing of the video to have the best audience retention rate possible.
3. If you implement the right strategies, you can grow over time.
4. Become an authority in one niche and combine ur personality and style in it!
5. Create binge-worthy content
6. It takes some quantity and foundation to get that wheel going and earn subscribers when you are asleep too.
7. Why would someone subscribe to my channel?
8. Tell your audience to subscribe. I personally don’t do this, cuz I’m so thankful for ppl to watch it already. I do believe that if ppl want sub they will do it without me saying it.
9. Ask your audience to engage (likes, comments)10. Tell your audience about when you update. Maybe say it at the beginning of the video or put it in ur banner.
11. Come up with an incentive, why they should subscribe
12. Tease a future video (no one can do exactly what you do the way you do it)
13. Create a series. There are two types of content. Ones that maintain and develop a quality relationship with ur audience and ones that reach further videos.
For example with cat’s channel. It will be how to start RUclips in 2020 and her vlogs + sharing feelings one is for quality connection.
14. Have a personality and share it. And when ppl come they will know who are you right way when they enter your channel. Message clarify is important!
15. Create content worth subscribing. It really depends on how u picture ur whole channel and have a vision in mind.
Hi 👋🏼 can you make a video about B rolls what they are and how to use them
Always giving the best tips very much in detail !!! Thank you
So many great tips! I’ve been vlogging for over 2 years and those tips are ON POINT!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Im starting to vlog my Post Kidney Transplant Journey and this seriously helped me out.
I think I have said this before in a comment but I'll say it again, your step by step instructions are really great because not a lot of tutorials will take the time to show every little detail but those little details really make a huge difference. I love your videos, thank you.
What helped me the absolute most in this video was you showing the water cup filling process! 🙌 I love doing Roller Skating Vlogs but wanted to up my game. This video was very helpful all around. Thank you! 💜🦋
Thank youuu! Girl these videos are so informative! I have a notepad full of notes and now I feel like I’m ready to start filming interesting, everyday vlogs. 🙏
You are popping off with your RUclips content!!! Loved these tips!
I love the way you film your videos and edit them to keep us interested and engaged throughout the entire video! 💕
