Wow this guy is great. I'm a new rider 🇺🇸 and still learning. I saw a tiny bit of smoke earlier and I'm assuming it's because of my bad shifting. Not knowing when to shift and how to shift properly.
I recommend staying in gear at a stop light and keep your eyes on the rearview mirrors. Keep your bike aimed at an escape route. It may save you from being rear ended.
You western people drive at 60mph like its nothing, that's not the case in India. Plus we have way more motorcyclists compared to cars here. Your car drivers are "blind" towards motorcyclists and its okay, but not applicable in India. You can afford to burn your clutch plates but we can't.

as long as you don't release the clutch at speeds that the gear cannot handle without causing heavy engine breaking you should be ok . else you can rev match 4 gears down without using clutch, but it takes a while to understand the engine

@@ashish00007 Well, the standard protocol is, unlike chapris, one should slow down and stop at yellow light itself, bring the engine to neutral, turn it off and start when It turns green or is about to (like 5 seconds left at the timer). VIkas Bhai, is Dominar Clutch plate an issue, i have seen people complaining that oil is not getting properly circulated due to which Dominar clutch is burning within 10k KMS. So, is that true? Please clarify.
I like to switch to neutral at a long light, to rest my hand but also for to rest the clutch. By I find that sometimes when I try to re-engage clutch ad hit the lever pedal my bike won't switch into 1st gear. It doesn't always happen, only sometimes. But it can be embarrassing (and possibly dangerous to be stopped for 5-10 seconds at a green light. I usually have to play with the clutch handle or even sometimes rock the bike forward to get back into gear. My bike was basically new (25 miles) when I bought it last month, does anyone else have this problem? Shoould I just stay in 1st even if it means a very tired left hand? I found other people online that seems to think this is a common issue with bikes with this kind of clutch/Transmission (Yamaha R3) but I find that kind of a crappy answer, the "its just how they are and so we just have to live with it" sort of thing. Maybe an adjustment on the clutch cable or a modified clutch could fix this problem? Or is this something I will just learn how to counteract quickly once I become more comfortable with my bike. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Very nice vikas bhai !! Very informative. Bro I have seen some people 1. pulling the clutch lever back whenever they brake even though they don't have to change the gear . and 2. they hold the clutch in slopes or descents when in 4 th or 5th gear Saying pulling back clutch lever in slopes saves petrol !!!!! Is it true ?? Is it recommended ? Please reply.
What should i do when i have to ride in city bumper to bumper whose speed is 10-15kmph? Half clutch+acceleration? Or Half clutch? Because i'm a daily commuter in city with my dominar and in between my engine stalls and stops which is a great problem. I am afraid of clutch disk burn for which i dont accelerate when releasing clutch but engine stalls and stops. What should i do?
What if I pulled the clutch on downhill... And also I apply front brake in first gear and release the clutch to off the bike.. is it also burning the clutch...
Bro... leaving the clutch suddenly..when the gear is enganged causes jerk to the bike ..and the engine is switched off . Is it too harmful for the engine???because my friends bike ....he left the clutch accidentally in 3rd gear on his duke 390... literally the bike gave a jerk and it was off ...will it harm the engine or ....is it ok sometimes
This sounds like stalling to me, it happens but if you do it too much or at high speed it can cause damage to the gears or clutch. Also you should never touch the clutch while you ride unless changing gears or starting stopping or moving off as this wears it more. When at high rpm you want to avoid using the clurch even if you intend to decelerate or accelerate rapidly. When at high speed or rpm wait until your are in the lowest part of the rpm band for the gear before downshifting this means braking until you know where this area is then dropping a gear. It takes practice and familiarity with the bike but doing so will prolong clutch life
so how much clutch lever play should one have? When I got the bike straight from the dealer I had to adjust because there was too much play. But I feel I need to adjust a bit more because my clutch only starts grabing when I release to about half. I feel like it should start biting a little bit sooner. Maybe at 20-25% released lever? I feel the gear changes will be smoother as well. Now I steel feel too much jumping of the bike when I release the clutch after gear change. I have the new duke 390. Thanks!

Thank you for the video I learned a lot , I was riding the clutch there why
That’s where I fukked up, my 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 not jumpin the way it use to. I guess my clutch plates is done.
Sir I am using ns 200 bike new bike after getting a bike I put burnout within 500 kilometers so my clutch plates broked and I changed my clutch plates after changing clutch plates I drived 2000 kilometers total kilometers I drived was 2243 I wanted to put half clutch because after realising 85 percentage of clutch my bike got moving shroom not recommend to put half clutch so sir plse say if I put half clutch it affects the clutch plates and again it fails
Very nice vikas bhai !! Very informative.
Bro I have seen some people
1. pulling the clutch lever back whenever they brake even though they don't have to change the gear .
and
2. they hold the clutch in slopes or descents when in 4 th or 5th gear
Saying pulling back clutch lever in slopes saves petrol !!!!!
Thank you bro...really helpful...explanation was clear
Hello vikas which type Of engineoil is recommended for pulsar ns 200??
Hi Vikas...when I am moving and want a sudden pick up..I declutch once and accelerate hard...will this harm my clutch or my engine?
What if I pulled the clutch on downhill... And also I apply front brake in first gear and release the clutch to off the bike.. is it also burning the clutch...
Vikas bhai. Bangalore Traffic police planing to ban foreign or imported grade helmets in effect from 1st Feb 18. Whats your take?
Bro... leaving the clutch suddenly..when the gear is enganged causes jerk to the bike ..and the engine is switched off . Is it too harmful for the engine???because my friends bike ....he left the clutch accidentally in 3rd gear on his duke 390... literally the bike gave a jerk and it was off ...will it harm the engine or ....is it ok sometimes
go buy an activa.. then it wont jerk and stop.. stupid
It takes practice and familiarity with the bike but doing so will prolong clutch life
@vikas I too own an rc390, shifting gears is an extremely clunky affair, is it probably because there's no gear oil
so how much clutch lever play should one have? When I got the bike straight from the dealer I had to adjust because there was too much play. But I feel I need to adjust a bit more because my clutch only starts grabing when I release to about half. I feel like it should start biting a little bit sooner. Maybe at 20-25% released lever? I feel the gear changes will be smoother as well. Now I steel feel too much jumping of the bike when I release the clutch after gear change. I have the new duke 390. Thanks!
My friends asked that, why we need to apply Clutch during neutral while starting!!!!??
If I saw a little bit of smoke in the front of bike and it's not radiator issues. I'm assuming it's my newbie horrible clutching. Now if I've seen a tiny bit of smoke have I already ruined my bike or is it okay. It's a 2021 kawasaki ninja 400
