Another great episode guys, new hitch looks the part. Just a word in regards to the breakaway cable. According to the rules it cannot be attached to any part of the tow bar, this is in case the tow bar leaves the vehicle with safety chains etc attached which has actually happened on occasions!!
What a great informative video. Thanks Laura and Troy. How exciting, it's nearly time for your Lap to begin 🎉 Our van is set for delivery October 20 amd we can't wait to get out there and explore
Thanks, Laura and Troy, for the video. At least you're honest enough to say that you've got the wrong hitch. And then poor Coco, getting confused about which side of the car to get into. Thanks, the video, and see the next one. We may even catch up at your meet and greet when you have it.
Coco might need a ramp as she gets older otherwise she risks hurting herself getting in and out. Just a thought. Love watching your adventures with the whole family! Thanks for sharing.
@JourneyUnknown ya, but where would you put the ramp? 😬 😳 it would have to be pretty long in order to make it comfortable for Coco to walk up or down 🤔 Good thing is you have plenty of time to figure something out. Coco is a sweetheart.
Great Episode again. Can i just suggest with the farm trailer and jet ski I would just use the second hitch for everything else, and keep this one for the caravan. . Love your Date night ,🍷🍺🌺 Have a great time on your cruise 🚢 We would love to see you on the 26 November.
Thanks Dennis, yeah it might be the way to go in regards to the hitch. We'll see how we go on our travels and try and fit a meet and greet in each state 🙏
Than you another very informative video. In South Australia so won't be at your meet and greet. Hopefully on your lap you will come to the Riverland (Waikerie) for a stop over 😊. Our Coco struggles to get in or out of the left hand side of the Ute. She always gets in and out on the right hand side at home.
So many views even within an hour so good for you guys. Sadly wont be st the meet and greet will only just be getting back from Fiji, but one day ill cross the ditch and meet up. Enjoy the cruise
Hi not sure if your aware or not the d035 hitch has to be done up to 440nm only mentioning it as people have done them up with a shifter and they have snapped 👍
Good Morning Legends 😊 Awesome video👌🏽 Thanks for the information and a beautiful fit to the 300👍🏼👏🏼 Wish you guys all the best in reaching your perfect weight 💯 Greetings & Cheers 🍻 Mates from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hey mate, thank you for recording these detailed videos, they help heaps. I have recently bought Curt drop hitch Kit after watching your videos. Also have got its locks. But to my surprise they hitch pin lock on LC300 does not fit. I have wrote to their support.
@@JourneyUnknown Yeah I went with fancy "Rebellion™ XD Lock" that gives locks for both attachment and hitch pin. Their support also confirmed they are not good for LC300/200.
Hey Kerry, not as yet. It’s working a treat and plenty of clearance from the ground. It’ll be good to see how it pulls our new bigger van. We recommend this hitch. 👍
Thanks guys another good vid just a short note do you know what load loading you have for your roof on the 300series as I just Watched wild touring vlog on this and I thought about you guys might be of interest to you have a great cruise
Hey, Yep, we watched wild touring. He's absolutely right. We also looked right into the lack of information from Toyota on load ratings. What we do know is that Toyota has a genuine rack rated at 125kg. Our Ironman roof rack is rated at 150kg, which we wouldn't exceed. Cheers, thanks for watching and commenting 🍻
Great video guys that new hitch is the bees knees 👌 just leave ya old hitch set for the little trailers so u dont need to adjust the new one its just slide in slide out too easy , cocos confused she's a lefty now 😅 but seriously eating icecreams drinking coke and suckin on lolly pops arnt going to help with weight distribution , gee ya old man is having a ball nicking ya jars good on him he doing fine and happy by the looks 👍
"You right there King"? He is now! Priorities young Troy, Billy's onto it. 😂 PS. You might find a ringy spanner more helpful that that shifter when rooting around with the pin 👍
Thanks for the great information once again.... We would love to join you but when you are closer somewhere to us in Canberra. Would like to let you know that it is because of you guys our new caravan that is being built has the same dishwasher as yours being installed. :-) Thank you. LOL
Hi Guys, your making me homesick, I grew up in Dingley and moved to QLD 35 years back, loving your channel and we can’t wait to see your lap! What direction are you heading when you take off? Cheers Pete & Jane
Hi Troy and Laura, great vids and info. Very interested in this CURT hitch given I have exactly the same car, even down to the colour!! You mentioned you would do a follow up to provide feedback after using this new hitch. Have searched through a number of your vids and haven't found the follow up. Have you put this together yet or is that still on it's way? Thanks, Murray
Hi Troy and Laura good vid again can not find to much on how heavy until later that says 73 pounds.Wonder if that weight goes on your tow ball gvm or gtm which is another wack on your weights. For a good product very heavy.Might be around the area on the 26 Th of November as also on the lap after 200 series sorted and van fixed with warranty issues Should be out of Newcastle area early November cheers Rod and Jenny
Good on you, mate. Great vid. Like the look of the hitch sounds good, just a couple of questions .i have 200 series with a lifte kit in it .I was wondering if a do35 fits on it ,on the hitch, and who supplies them may be a phone number cheers Chris 😊

Hi Mark, it's about 18kg 👍
Do you know your breakaway legally cannot be connected to your hitch or tow bar. Must be connected to car. That's what tow safe advised us anyway.
Thanks, yeah, another follower let us know the other day 👍
What Drop were you trying tho achieve out of curiosity
Do you mean tow hitch drop? to make the caravan level whilst towing..
Yes from top of the car receiver hole to the base of the D035 Teflon ring
Ah ok. The D035 is level with the car receiver. We only drop it down if we tow a trailer or boat
Hey mate ! Love you videos . Can I ask you something? If you spending that kind of money why don’t you buy oz glide caravan hitch ???

How did you fix the drawers to the false floor? Just screw them down or T nuts?
Hey, l used 20ml hex screwed with a washer.
