Everything you said was correct,but there is no such thing as praying a sinners prayer. Its not in the Bible. Please rethink this and study.
I am aware that this does not exist in the bible. However, many people would like to be guided along in this kind of prayer. What is it you think I should study more?
While there is no such thing as a sinners prayer in the Bible, the words spoken here is indeed the words that a true believer will believe in their hearts. Whether or not someone's heart is truly changed is not for us to decide, but if this prayer is a gateway for the Lord to work His Will in a person right away or later on, that is His Will. Does the prayer save someone? No, but actually truly believing in the Biblical Truth in those words does.
