My son's friend died from fentanyl overdose. He had just graduated high school. He was student council and star athlete that became addicted to pain pills when prescribed for wisdom teeth removal. Nobody knew. Without knowing he had an opiate addiction, he was found unconscious in his mother's basement. He had bought pain pills that unknowingly had fentanyl in them. He never regained consciousness. This happened over the course of 6 months. From wisdom teeth removal to his death. This is a horrible drug.

In my neighborhood, turn the pandem it and until now it must have seen a couple hundred deaths or more on a few blocks have a youtube channel. I'm horrified everyday, I'm so traumatized. I'm 62 years old and I will never never be normal furthermore, because I have such trauma for living in my neighborhood. I now qualify with my German-jewish last name for youth vanization. Because I hate my neighborhood and they would rather. Euthanize me them move me to a decent neighbourhood.😢 Just imagine my Christmas. How I felt knowing that I qualified for euthanization like nazi germany except for this time, they make life so difficult you choose it.😮
*My best friend recently passed away due to this drug so I’m doing my research on it. I really can’t help but be sad, his recent drug test stated that he had no history of using it until last second. I wish this stuff was wiped away from the face of the Earth completely. . .*
It would be a major major help if it was wiped off the face of the earth.. but it also has its benefits. They USED TO only prescribe this drug in patch form to terminal cancer patients.. as in people who they know are going to die, but are in so much pain for months before they go.. fentanyl is a blessing to them. My ex’s grandpa had prostate cancer stage 4 and the fentanyl patches and good california weed is the only thing that helped him or gave him some form of euphoria or happiness.. just a thought to chew on, u feel me?

It's tragic that people use it in illegal ways but I'd also like to remind people that it is also still used to help people in horrific pain, taken because doctors prescribed it so the sick person can have some small amount of quality of life. Addiction is a tragedy and we need to make treatment more readily available but I wish that the public understood how important access to opiate medication is for people with late stage cancer and countless medical conditions that cause immense pain and suffering.
