Back of the Book FACTOR FLASHBACK hosted by recently fired NPR news analyst Juan Williams:
Bill O'Reilly catches a WHIFF of Terry Gross on NPR's "FRESH AIR" (10-7-03 on National Public Radio).
Derriere: der·ri·ère also der·ri·ere (dr-âr) n.
The buttocks; the rear.[French, behind, from Old French deriere, in back of, from Vulgar Latin *d retr : Latin d, from, of; see de- + Latin retr, back; see retro-.]

Terry still has a job though.
I love how they didn't even bother playing what Terry asked him and set him off. I'm willing to bet she was infinitely more fair than Bill is to his guests
I can't believe Fox News is still doing the "fair and balanced" bit.
Bill just showed everyone how insecure he is.
Yeah, he says Terry needs to get into another business, but she still has a show, and he doesn't.
Poor, poor weak victimized Bill Oreilly. Couldn’t stand the heat of Terry Gross. He’s absolutely pathetic
If Mr. O'Reilly were true to his character, he would have sat there and defended himself, which he did not do. He got scared and when she did not fall for his BS he decided to quit... so typical.
Lololol ITS FUNNY CUZ HE GOT KICKED OUT OF THE BUSINESS. I think Terry got the last laugh lalwlwoqolalaoqkwbahiqisbuzjsq
The spin begins at Fox.
The last part of the Bill O'Reilly interview is not shown here...Terry says (to herself) "One of us still has a radio program".
D Wetick said many years later on Jimmy falon
Guess which one still has a show 😆
Fresh Derriere?
Lost all respect for Jaun Williams in under 2 minutes.
A guy who was fired by NPR is doing a news story criticizing NPR. Haha fair and balanced!
Fox News... Fair and balanced.... HahahahahahahahahahAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Thank you, kind sir. I really needed that today!
It's funny that in the midst of Bill calling her unfair, Terry lets him talk. I wonder what O'Reilly would do if Terry came on his show and called him unfair..... CUT THE MIC!!!!!
Most times reporters/interviewers are going to go after the contcontroversial stuff. In this case it was a trade off, Bill was selling a book and Terry wanted the controversial. I like you Juan, but the fair and balanced thing would of been to play the "WHOLE INTERVIEW". I listed to the whole interview and watch I watched the Factor. Maybe Fresh Air left out something, but the Factor and you Juan left out a lot more than they did. Someone prove me wrong and I will apologize.
Nobody wants to hear an hour of someone hawking their wares. It's always annoying when people will go on a show to promote a book, movie, or clothing line (Paris Hilton) and get angry when the host doesn't just talk about that. I don't care to hear an hour of discussion about one thing. If that's all you talk about, then you can expect that people won't buy the product because they know exactly what it's about so there's no point. Bill is never a good interview because he cannot handle anyone but him controlling the interview. He knew NPR's and Terry's politics when he agreed to do the interview. She at least didn't interrupt and gave him the floor to scold her. Not sure if he would have extended the same courtesy.
The spin stops right here because if we spin more we will all get sick.
Designed to sell his book. That is the only reason
Who still has a show? BURN!
Fair and Balanced presentation my ass.
Are you saying that one cheek is bigger than the other?
@ObamAtheist "Fresh Derriere"... Oh! I see what you did there. That's *so* clever.
Thanks for the definition, I might not have gotten it otherwise. You've got to really spell it out for us Fox zombies, you know.
why is it unconstitutional? lol. ever heard of freedom of speech?
Cmon Juan, you can not even say your name correctly, Its JUAN, not ONE.
Billy the big baby.
"Fair and Balanced"TM
@ObamAtheist yeah...as if there were such a thing.
I'd rather sound like a child than be like you and think like one (judging by your channel description).
Except if not defending himself and quit critical shows is his character... Defending himself is not a specifically logical reaction for him...
NPR's fists smell like the American tax payers' derrieres.
@TedVoron why?

NPR violates the SEPARATION of NEWS and STATE.
PIZZA violates the SEPARATION OF CHEESE AND SAUCE. What are we doing?
Juan is presenting a REPLAY of an earlier O'Reilly show (with very little additional commenting) and O'Reilly also allowed Juan to present his side of this shameful NPR debacle on another O'Reilly show.
Also, NPR is certainly NOT Fair & Balanced and the "lady" who fired Juan was forced to resign by: NPR.
@ObamAtheist NPR's involuntary tax-payer funded existence violates "Separation of Press and State".
@jstncbllr NPR's fists smell like the American tax payers' derrieres.
terry gross has the perfect face 4 radio..
@angeloamericano I'm sure you do too.
I was very proud of O'Reilly when he admitted that he'd been infected with genital herpes. He was honest. He made no excuses. And he took responsibility for his actions. If you listen to the full interview, you'll hear that Gross blindsided him about it as well as his sexual history. The man's outrage was justified.
Actually, it sounds like _you_ are totally _under the influence_ (from taking a whiff of Terry Gross' _Fresh Derriere_). Mmmmmmmmm.....
*****
Oh God, Ted. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you had slept with him.
What do you mean?
Mick White--read his comments on this forum--misses the whole point when he states, "I have never heard a reporter or host on NPR say anything" [about Fox News being unfair] because Gross, Rehm, and others don't have to state their views. These shows are so formulaic and ideologically Left as to flirt with irrelevancy (no matter how hip the guests). The formula over and over again is to bring on a guest who has an ax to grind with Republicans and conservatives--all the better if the interviewee has a book out with a cynical take on a Bush family member--and pose highly scripted softball questions that fit the hateful NPR narrative. The formula works in reverse with a guest like O'Reilly whose views Gross and others clearly despise.
This comment has received too many negative votes:
ObamAtheist: "NPR violates the SEPARATION of NEWS and STATE."
SCREW YOU, you leftist babies! ROTFLMAO
These days, they're called THEYBIES.
Well you sound like a big baby.
