    My entire adult life...she and NPR Fresh Air have been there. I can't define my life without it. She opens the door to so many lives of people out there, that I wouldn't know. It really teaches you of humanity. By listening to their stories on Fresh Air, it made me to cheer up and stand up again, when I found myself in a dark and very low point...or to be humble when I was at the high point of my life.

    I never knew what she looked like, years now, for some reason I had pictured her as a version of young Elizabeth Taylor! She is more beautiful in person than I imagined! Love her! Thank you for your years of great work. I have learned so much from you over the years. Great woman, an icon, she has used her gifts so well.

    Love your show, Terri. I must say I miss Diane Rehm. So grateful we have you. I am not comparing. No comparison can exist between two great people each superb at what they do in their own right. National treasure indeed. Yes you are. Thank you.

    • @donlibes
      @donlibes 7 лет назад +7

      You may not be able to compare the two but I sure can. Diane Rehm wasn't in the same league as Terry Gross. Rehm was overtly biased, often lacked interest in her guests, and often failed to ask good followups.

    I found "Fresh Air" by chance because the rerun happens around 8PM EST on my ride home from work, and most radio sucks these days. Must say I'm absolutely addicted now, a year into listening. I've always loved good interviewers with compelling people, and Terry Gross absolutely takes the cake. I sincerely look forward to listening, best part of leaving work!
