Watched this RussianBadger video maybe a week or two ago and I was hooked the whole journey. I originally didn't plan on watching the vid in one sitting, but it was too much a joy to watch and reminded me of how me and my brothers used to play video games together when I was younger.
"Just push buttons and have fun, learn the game later." This is the mentality I took when playing Dragon Ball FighterZ for the first time, just push buttons, have fun, and then learn later. Even then I was only able to play the game at my friends house so pretty much all my learning was from looking up moves between matches, then testing them during a fight and hope for the best. Most fun I've ever had playing a fighting game and it remains my favorite to this day.
Some people will be like “ALICIA HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THE FUNKY CANCEL INTO SALTY HANDSTAND TOMBSTONES!”
If you liked this kind of energy, I highly watching Lythero’s content, not only was he one of the amazing people helping teach, but he’s also just funny to watch

It’s adapted from a manga about a young woman living in WWII Japan, and is actually based on the author’s elder’s experiences living in Kure during the war. Super good watch, but get ready for heavy emotions.

Also, Lythero's another creator, and like Badger, is a memer. Gary's one of his friends, and part of their group, the "Shenannigoons". he and the others are known for their voice impressions.
Russian Badger is a welcome suprise
Badger's ability to rapidly learn games (provided he has someone actually teaching him the game and not just running bits) is downright frightening. As a side note, when (not if) you continue doing Badger videos on any game that is NOT Rainbow 6: Siege make sure you watch the first one he posted first, especially if it's a game you're not familiar with. His first video in a series is almost always a Baby's First Cliff Notes no bullshit overview of the game. That and his later videos in a given series tend to build up on each other, in particular his TABG and Payday 2 series.
