I have an 83 Shadow 500; first year. I just got it, over the summer. It's been sitting since 86. I was fortunate enough to get the title. It will need some work, but it looks great. I can't wait to get it running. Also, I have 3 other project bikes: 77 Kawasaki KZ650, 81 Suzuki GS450L, and 82 Honda CM250C. I intend to give the Shadow to my wife. The 250 is my custom bike, the 450 will probably stay pretty much stock, and the KZ will be set up for my best friend; I'll probably never ride it.
Yup the shadow is fun to ride. Absolutely those bikes were so small and cramped. I'm 6'1" myself and I know how you feel and look on a shadow. Nice first bike definitely. The Magna V-45 and V-65 are totally the master of the shadow. You should turn a nice profit from this bike definitely. Keep um coming, loving the channel!!!!

I've got an 06 1100 and they just work. They dont have all the Harley flavor and power but for a good reliable rider you can have a ton of fun.
