Absolutely perfect. MY oven stopped while my wife was cooking Christmas dinner! I was afraid to even look into this because of the gas, and I had visions of people’s homes disappearing into a hole from a gas explosion! I watched this video and prayed for understanding and grace. This vid provided PERFECT step by step instructions and this was a very easy swap. Im sure a service guy wouldve purchased the $150+ part, and charged me $200-300 for installation. Thank you!!!!

The ignitor went out on my oven a few days ago. Got the part on Amazon. Replaced it in less than an hour. I'm pretty handy but was slightly nervous to do this since it was all new to me. Super simple and your video was SO helpful. I'm now watching the oven preheat to 350 no problem at all while I bandaid a couple of cuts. That back plate has some sharp edges! I am cradling my fire extinguisher for comfort though 😂. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

Great to hear Dan! Yeah you could probably use the backplate to shave it’s so sharp. A few sharp edges on this repair for sure. . Be careful folks! Wear gloves.

Thank you much for this! I have looked at so many videos trying to find someone to explain how to do this for my oven and I am so happy to have found your content. While we don't have the same model, this was exactly how I needed to do it for mine. So easy to follow. Thank you a million times!

Many thanks Kyle for the great instructions. My Samsung NX60T8311SS/AA oven is not heating up. I am ordering a new replacement igniter on Amazon.

How did it work out? I’m about to do this same thing. Oven won’t turn on but the burner and broiler work… it’s a Samsung Gas stove with the “blue” LED screen like this model in the video

I can’t express enough how thankful I am for this info! Super easy to follow, saved me a $200 minimum service fee, and fixed my oven. Baked foods are back on the menu haha. Cheers!

Thank you for the time and effort that you put in to do this video. I can do simple repairs, but I wouldn’t consider myself a hand person. My wife was skeptical when I said I think I can do this after my Dad sent me your video. I just followed this step by step and my oven works great. My wife was very impressed. The actual time of doing stuff to the oven was maybe 45 minutes- an hour? Thanks again.

My wife was skeptical too! But now she's happily baking so I consider it a win.

Awesome video man ✊… you explained everything perfectly and even better is I think we have this exact same Samsung oven. Same blue led screen… I’m still going to check the model number but it’s looks identical.

Great video, the install worked great. I tested the heat when I was done and it heated up very fast. When I tried to cook later in the day, there was NO heat at all. Next morning, still no heating. Unlike the old igniter, there isn't even a sign of lighting up or any heat. Could the unit have been faulty and died that quickly or could there be another issue?

i have a question, i replaced my ignitor and it is lighting up, but it takes a long time for the gas to light and i get a really strong smell of gas. i will open the door on the stove and the gas will light. it this still an ignitor issue or do i have a airflow issue.

You may have to do some research as the product I had in the description has been discontinued. I found one here but cannot guarantee this is a good part: www.amazon.com/NX60T8111SG-NX60T8111SS-NX60T8311SG-NX60T8311SS-NX60T8511SG/dp/B097YR9WWW/ref=sr_1_13_sspa?crid=3LD4YMV5ICDO3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.pPz4TQ4GLxWWwMmN-N-GnIf1IhR2tP0czagHLaobqEqg5weTLMWOw4tUXpMB4UVlyZiSsOxW78Bu8mHbTuZcz0hiEDR981X2I5lsYwZrzAr6KQCmiZjAoYWH__cHysEPFBWgPSqWrpjV-NYeJDkOn-xiZ8EfIIF7pUQLCTeij0rlde-WzfsIfDLQwk5dAuklgYstWLbIxtv_oeTcpnJk1zF4i5tMt0hqH_AmUtdce47zHOcUhmyhxwYgoqRZ1cWGzrf63VNsvWdHsXAvdsom2tdvrv0O-e5c4pWQR7-DebE.QzuhlWZ9PgtviJFPXBUvoHfiAdcbFyqychLxcAMj5rg&dib_tag=se&keywords=igniter+Samsung+NX60T8111SG&qid=1727374212&s=hi&sprefix=igniter+samsung+nx60t8111sg%2Ctools%2C83&sr=1-13-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&psc=1
