  • 👩🏻‍🍳 Egg bread, or egg muffins, is old-fashioned street food in Korea. It is especially popular in the cold winter. Freshly baked steaming egg muffins will melt your heart. They are sweet with a slightly salty whole egg inside. They taste very delicious. They are a little unique and fun to make. Of course, they are very easy to make too.

    I LOVE this recipe. All my family ever purchases is salted butter and that's made baking a little difficult, but when I saw this, I immediately wanted to make it. I made it without the eggs in the middle and my whole family loved them! When my brother invited us over for chili night, I made a double batch and everyone thought it was corn bread! I'm going to be making this for breakfast next week. Thank you SO MUCH Aeri!

    Hehe, I like the little one walking by. That's exactly what kids do, they "pop" in and out. I will tell my brother about these, he doesn't know how to cook much, and I think he could learn these well. They seem like something he would really like too. Thank you.

    @aeriskitchen  13 лет назад

    @emynoob
    As you can see mine...it didn't burn... I think..it's part of ..because you brushed the surface with melted butter...it helps the batter (later muffin) doesn't stick to the pan too...

  • @mycombs

  • @aeriskitchen
    @aeriskitchen  13 лет назад

    @PrincessPebbie
    yes.. taste a little bit of your melted butter and see if you can taste any saltness in it.. if you don't.. add a little bit of salt to your muffin batter when you mix ingredients..

  • @aeriskitchen
    @aeriskitchen  13 лет назад

    @12345ankank
    yes.. the egg changes the flavor a little.. you know.. fresh warm hard boiled and old cold hard boiled egg taste different... so if you can eat them right away.. and make rest of the batter just plain muffins.. you can reheat them in toaster oven..and they will taste okay in several days..

    I don't see what people find so offensive or shocking about someone sharing a great recipe and then giving a blessing at the end. I think she's just being genuinely kind here so why make such a big deal out of it? Do you also throw a fit when someone tells you "God bless you" after you sneeze?! o.0

    So I made this yesterday night and tried it now. I had originally made two muffins without eggs, one because I ran out of small eggs, and I definitely can't use big eggs in my muffin pan, and two because I was running out of batter. Sadly, the eggs like, cooked up to the top, and broke the surface, and wasn't a well done surprise in the center. But it was definitely good! c: Tasted like a regular buttery muffin with a boiled egg. Aww yeeee.

    Hi Everyone!
    I made this with self raising flour instead of adding in baking powder, soy milk instead of normal milk and added 1/4 teaspoon of salt in instead of using salted butter because I only had unsalted butter and it turned out very well!! I also used a texas muffin pan because I didn't have any smaller and made 6 muffins and the cooking time was the same and the result was very good!! I might add a little less sugar next time though, thank you for the delicious recipe, God bless you!
