I really like that Maangchi doesn't waste ingredients in her videos. In this one, she makes sure not to waste any batter. In other videos, she makes sure not to waste stuff like gochujang by adding water, etc. etc. This is all stuff that's very common to my family but most people with cooking shows don't seem to do (maybe just to save time on camera) but sometimes it just feels so wasteful and goes against all my parents have taught me. Eat every last grain of rice in that bowl!

Maangchi’s Egg Bread has had 2.7 million views. AMAZING. Her Egg Bread creation is so, so wonderful. It’s quick & straightforward and delicious. I did add cheese & breakfast meats and even without that, I will have this on permanent rotation for years. I think I will want to substitute maple syrup for vanilla extract as a test and see how that turns out. Or, make a savory version one day! Thank you!!!
I am a dance teacher and my young dancers have been doing lessons online since mid march . Last Friday to take the monotony off daily dance training I created the Gyeran ppamg breakfast challenge. The dancers ages between 8+ and 13 had to follow the recipe and instructions to a tee . They were so excited recording the process and had a fabulous breakfast as well . Thank you Maangchi . I’ve made this several times and each time they turn out great. I even used a mini muffin tin, grated cheese and whisked the eggs and those were adorable and really good. The recipe scales up easily and they also store well-the egg won’t be runny, but my kiddo can microwave a few in the morning.
My husband came home and I pulled out these delicious egg pan! The bread was so filling. It was so good to eat hot out of the oven. They came out perfect-moist and cooked just right. A new favorite !

What if you just replaced that one pinch of salt with the cream cheese? You would still add a certain amount of salt and you wouldn't have to add extra sugar.

I made this again. It’s so good. The cake is not overly sweet. Just perfect. I put an egg, ham, and cheese all together. Turned out perfect. My husband ate two by himself leaving me one. 😂. I’m going to multiply this recipe to make one big cake!

I've been taking care of my father and he's been hating on bread for awhile. I decided to try making this (for myself) and I offered him one of the loaves. The egg in the middle was at the 'sunny side up' stage at 18 minutes. They bread was cooked at that point too but it could have cooked a little longer in case of someone wanting a less rare egg. It was a bit much for one portion but it's good for someone whose very hungry. Thought I'd share!
I just made this, but i scrambled it like i saw some korean street cooks did. I made one for my daughter with only egg and cheese and for me and my son with bacon and we used american cheese cause my kids only like that cheese. Taste great!!! Like some fluffy sweet cornbread with egg, cheese, and optional meat.

Very easy to make! I doubled the recipe to make 5 bread in cute small pans. I already reduced 1tbsp sugar but it's still too sweet for my family. Will try only use 1tbsp sugar and see how well it will goes with egg and some minced beef on top🤔 i sprinkled some basil and pepper on top too and so delicious
I woke up with the urge to make this but I only had 1 egg and american and cream 🧀. I chose cream cheese. It came out super fluffy and delicious. Can't wait to make it with the eggs and moozarella. Thank you for this great recepie!

Just been to Korea and I didn't think much of this egg bread like you initially. I tried one in Myeongdong market and it was so good that it became our breakfast for the entire trip haha. It's cheap and clever. I love the koreans' frugal and creative inventions.

Very easy to make! I doubled the recipe to make 5 bread in cute small pans. I already reduced 1tbsp sugar but it's still too sweet for my family. Will try only use 1tbsp sugar and see how well it will goes with egg and some minced beef on top🤔 i sprinkled some basil and pepper on top too and so delicious

I woke up with the urge to make this but I only had 1 egg and american and cream 🧀. I chose cream cheese. It came out super fluffy and delicious. Can't wait to make it with the eggs and moozarella. Thank you for this great recepie!

Just been to Korea and I didn't think much of this egg bread like you initially. I tried one in Myeongdong market and it was so good that it became our breakfast for the entire trip haha. It's cheap and clever. I love the koreans' frugal and creative inventions.
