About those "forced" marriages. People in the Medieval era had a very different idea of honor and duty than we do today. Jack (Joffrey) did such a great job, he has actually quit acting, since too many people think of Joffrey when he performs now! 😂
Fun side note : He's in Batman Begins. Batman gives him his binoculars/scope as he holds onto the side of the building in the rain!
I enjoy it when the actors that worked with Jack Gleeson always make it a point to mention what a nice guy he is in real life.
There are a lot of great performances in GoT, and Jack Gleeson is up there with the best. He IS Joffrey from the novels.
How much people hate him is really a tribute to how great of an actor he is
Yeah Jack Gleeson was a Fantastic Actor! There are some Real Stupid people in the World who can’t seem to tell the difference between Character and Actor! These people gave Jack Gleeson such a hard time being horrible treating him like Joffrey and not like Jack!
You called Ned's death from the start- Literarily no one does that. His death is what made Game of Thrones THAT show.
To be fair nowadays the stereotype of Sean Bean dying at everything he makes is much more known, but at the time the show first aired the meme hadn't started just yet, so she had more information today.
i like that you have heard of the red wedding but you don't know when it is, or who it's between. i'm glad there's still that element of surprise.
See, that's why I like reactions like this... Drogo having his speech after Jon and Sam taking their vows is like him mirroring them... I never thought about it that way... I've seen the series like 4-5 times but I always learn something new
Please lets appreciate Sansa: No one covered her eyes, so she saw the sword cut off her father's head.
The girl who is with bran was in Harry Potter as well. She played tonks.
And she was Xi’an the Twi’lek in “The Prisoner”, episode 5 or 6 of Mando S1
@@bryanfoster362 🤯
@@bryanfoster362 I actually singled her out by her voice. That raspyness is unmistakable.
She is from Spain, I think.

5:35 Nat sums up 6 seasons of Game of Thrones Starks storyline in 7 seconds.
Nat: 'I'm really enjoying learning more about different characters' backstories and seeing how they tick.'
Me: 'Let me just say one word: LOST'
YES!! I bet she’d absolutely love it, though I don’t know that she’d want to take on a series like that, judging from what she said about doing GoT.
Hmm... 'a series like that'... maybe not.
But ignoring the best show ever is another matter. ;)
(It's on her radar. She has mentioned it as part of a list in one of her early videos. I have my fingers crossed.)
Think the lost reference is due to how it ends....but she has another 4 or 5 seasons to enjoy
True, if she falls into your camp. In mine, she'll be happy to witness a perfect finale.
And I am very surprised how much I like 3 part reaction to the entire season instead of reacting to individual episodes. You seem to spend more time on the moments that are fun to watch then people who go with individual episodes do because they try to include more of the dialogue. The editing in your videos hit all of the right points to show that your following the story as well as seeing all of the craziness
Exactly. Even with several episodes in one video, it still shares the important moments that other individual episode reactions often miss.
Sees Natalie bawling her eyes out at Ned's death knowing what else this show has in store 😬
This show could break poor Natalie 😢
This is a show known for turning reactors from "aw, that's sad, that made me teary-eyed" to "Guys, I need a few days to gather myself again before I can go back on cam or even leave my room to interact with anyone..."
Yeah that's why I don't think she should continue the series...the Red Wedding could make her not wanna record for a while lol
@@MrD5914 Imagine if she watched that and Endgame the same day! It'd be like Bruce Davison's end in X-Men!
@@MrD5914 Natalie mentioned at the end that she was excited to get to the red wedding because she has heard it mentioned. I'm worried that she thinks she will cope with it
If she makes it past... um... you know the episode... She'll be fine. I just hope she has someone there to talk things through with, and a few strong drinks, to get her past it. "Who, are you... the Proud Lord said.... "....
Natalie needs to write down some of these "predictions" she's making...she'll be in whirlwind of surprise 👀
Right, she just predicted which Stark’s will live to end
To be fair, a lot of Game of Thrones plot points were big in pop culture at some point, so even if you weren't watching or paying attention, some part of your subconscious would probably be tuned into which characters will stand out.
That giddy squeal at the end of the finale was everything. You are literally the perfect person to be reacting to this show - you care so much.
To the editor: The intro was masterful.
1) I love how you're doing these reactions. So much story, so quickly, is a fantastic way to watch these.
2) That outfit with the hat is just amazing. Kudos
If you find yourself needing a trivia palate cleanser, BOTH Cerci and Danerys got to be SARAH CONNOR. No, Really!
When was Cerci Sarah? On the TV series?
@@Zero_2500 Yes
@@Zero_2500 yup = Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2 seasons) alongside Summer Glau
Didn't they both get to say, "Come with me if you want to live" ?
Mark Addy, who played King Robert, also played a T1000 in Termination Salvation as the CGI mo-cap for Arnie at the end. True story.
I want to rename this series for GOT " Natalie losses her mind ". Even though I watched this years ago, Natalie makes me feels on edge during every GOT episode so far. It is going to be fun watching out the rest of this series with her even though I know it is going to be rough for her emotionally.
Can’t wait for your reactions later on in the series, this is now my favourite thing to watch ❤️😁
Nice hat
Also it's nice that you recognized that Sansa is just a naive child. Many people started hating her at that point
Ur such a sweet young lady. this show can be hard, but it's worth it. Loving the hat:)
eeeh, debatable on the worth it part
It’s not worth it
She's like an archeologist lol
@@Gideon_the_Seraph The first 4 seasons are absolutely worth it.
@@mitchhamilton64 This was my favorite show of all time, now I wish I never watched it to begin with.
If you like Joffrey, you’re gonna love Ramsay, such a lovable fella 😂.
I really want a sausage...😉
Your hat and sweater are the perfect combo.
I'll say it, I'm a simp for fashion
thank you!!
@@theswullnasty3353 you know it's a funny quirk of psychology how often those calling others simps are actually simps themselves. Pro tip: if you're an actual non-manchild adult, you can be kind and give others compliments. Actual confidence doesn't need to adhere to some arbitrary message board set of rules kiddo.
Raiders of the lost gold
@@bp51082 that's such a simp thing to say. I mean, I'm guessing it is because I have no idea what a simp is
Only got into this show myself a few months ago; had so many friends/colleagues who were fans that I was aware of most of the big plot developments before ever watching, so I'm getting a bit of a vicarious first-viewing experience this way. A good reminder of the real power that this series can have.
Enjoy (though that's not always the best word) the rest.
THEKINGINDANORTH!!!
The dragon reveal at the end is always such an epic moment. Glad you got through the first season and hope to keep watching your reactions! The editing on these videos is great and gives all the good meat of each episode.
About those "forced" marriages. People in the Medieval era had a very different idea of honor and duty than we do today. Personal freedom was a foreign concept, and men and women were expected to do nothing *for themselves,* only for their family and dynasty. So most marriages were not forced, even if they were still "arraigned."
Khal Drogo lives on, the effect he's had on Daenerys changed her completely. If there was any part of the scared little noble girl left in her, it burned away in that pyre.
I keep hearing that Emilia Clarke is set to replace Amber Heard in Aquaman 2. A bit of a reunion between her and Jason Momoa.
@@technopirate304 That's false rumours created by fans.
@@hoya1178 A fanboy can dream can’t he? 🥲😭
Lol 😂 man you forget how great the writing was during the seasons they were adapting the books. The acting shines so much when the writing is tight. Absolutely great casting.
These condensed episodes are done so well. Keep up the great work Nat and stay safe.
It's horrible, and the sole reason, regardless of what she says, was to get as many game of thrones fans to sub to patreon, it was purely a business move and the reason patreon has destroyed reaction channels on youtube.
i was on hold with the IRS while watching this. they picked up the line when natalie started crying.... awkward moment
“there must always be a stark in winterfell” a line that sparked a thousand theories that ended up nowhere
Wonder if we will ever find out what that line really means.
"ending up nowhere" is a great way to sum up the whole show. Once you're done it wasn't really worth the effort.
@@Dularr it’s pretty literal - “there should always be one of us here as this is our home & we’re a well known family” - if there wasn’t a stark in winterfell then word would get around, and there’d probably be some who’d try and take advantage.
@@MrDash711 you must be new here
@@iainsteele5737 I mean I’ve seen different theories, but considering the show doesn’t do anything with the line, that’s how I interpreted it (on rewatch*)
Love the hat and fire!
It's so sad to see the beginning of the reaction and knowing where it's going and then you just see a heart completely shatter :(.
This Show is one heck of a roller coaster. Constantly bringing the audience up and down. Great vid =)
It's incredible. Season one of Game of Thrones is the most perfect book to screen adaptation to ever be depicted.
Every incredible beat from the book is translated and brought to life.
The editing of these last few videos have made them a lot more fun. Kudos to you and Cameron.
I burst out laughing when Natalie started sobbing. I’m not sadistic, I just remember my girlfriend having the exact same reaction at the time 😂
You still might be sadistic thou' :D
Why do you hate women, Jordan?
"Girlfriend" right, My "girlfriend" cried as well. Lost of "girlfriend" tears.
And the emotional roller coaster continues!
Your reactions are so pure and precious Natalie! Don't ever change!
So excited to rewatch GoT through you ^^
"there's going to be a lot of tears" oh you sweet summer child
This is where the fun begins
I have seen this show like 3 times and it still gives me CHILLS
You're doing great Nat! Keep it up🤗
I had forgotten how much emotion did this show used to command. So great you're watching!
13:09 "Man, girls are used as bargaining chips..." ; Game of thrones: "Hold my equality beer".
That recorder playing the GoT theme at the beginning of each episode slays me each time. Lol!
A kazoo could work too.
Natalie crying and I’m just smiling lol you have no idea what’s coming!! Can’t wait to continue this journey with you!!
That excited "eeeee" at the end was great!
The actors that play both Cersi and Geoffry were so good at their craft, I'll never be able to forgive them. They were both so talented they made me hate their guts.
That's just like ghost son in power
For the life of me I cannot understand people who are incapable of separating an actor from their role.
I have never in my life hated an actress or actor for the role they played and I don't get how some people are like that.
Like the actors who played Geoffry and Cersi literally got death threats sent against them. I don't understand people who are so mentally stunted that they cannot separate an actor from their role.
@@punkypony5165 Agreed. Two non GoT examples:
Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad - Skyler White)also got a lot of hate mail including death threats for her brilliant performance.
Tom Noonan (Manhunter [1986] - Francis Dolarhyde) I'm not aware if he received any hate mail, but he saw fear by some strangers in real life after his Manhunter performance. He stated his worst encounter was buying groceries when a woman recognized him, screamed horrifically, left her half filled grocery cart, and ran out of the store still screaming like her life depended on it.
@@dunringill1747 More recently Laura Bailey, voice actor and now BAFTA winner received death threats against her and her family including her young child for playing Abby in The Last of Us 2. Just don’t get people how could do that.
Love your reaction 🥰
This is my favourite series, I’ve seen it “only” 8 times 😅😅
had to stop what i was doing for this.
I'm feeling this! lol
Whoever added the sound effect of Tyrion getting bopped on the head deserves a raise. Enjoyed the video and reactions! Watching along with you is quite the rollercoaster!
Hey Natalie, love your reactions to season 1 so far of GoT! Can't wait to see more of your insight on the characters and plot as the series progresses! ✨
I do like that we can cover more episodes in one video.
Loving the reactions, Natalie, you had me crying with you!
It's sad looking back at the older seasons remembering just how good Game of Thrones was. Season 1 - 4 was incredible.

Jesus. I didn't plan on crying this early, but here we are = P. Great reaction, as always. Thanks = )
This format of 3 episodes a video actually has grown on me quite a bit. I've seen the show so many times that this abridged format actually is nice to just hit on the biggest moments rather than need to invest 20 minutes per episode all over again.
so many of the parts I watch GoT reactions for are edited out, and good editors will strategically edit out the right parts to help tempt people to go to patreon. patreon has ruined youtube reaction channels.
@Rasmus commenting liking and subscribing is enough support for people to watch tv. do you watch multiple reaction channels and donate money on patreon to all of them? or how should it work?
@Rasmus watch your mouth. reaction channels and youtube existed years before the plague of patreon, patreon is a new thing that has recently infested youtube. what I'm saying isn't only aimed at this girl. some reaction channels are asking for the same monthly as netflix lmao. I couldn't care less if people want to give money to reactors, what i care about is how patreon has come and ruined youtube because every single channel is asking for patreon now or you only get 10% of their content.
@Rasmus don't just lie kid, you got far more of the reaction before patreon was around and people weren't obsessed with milking it as much as they can, and the editors didn't strategically edit out the best parts to tempt you to go to patreon. It's also patreon exclusive reactions now for the most popular series. Keep simping all you want boy
"There's not gonna be zombies are there?"
Well technically no...
I gotta say, at first I didn't think I would like this format your doing the reactions in. But I have to tell ya, I am really enjoying how your doing this.
Sucks that she's been slightly spoiled on a few things, but I'm glad she's being honest about it. Plus, hearing of the Red Wedding but not knowing exactly what it is...maybe she won't be as shocked, but I'm willing to bet the emotions are still there.
When I read the the red wedding scenes in the book .... I literally dropped it .... just stunned by what happened ...
I knew about it and I was still shocked
The only way she is being spoiled is because of you idiots.
Forgot to add, THANK YOU for adding the highlights into 1 video like this. I'm really tired of reactors watching shows (especially with 50+ episodes) that take months and months to finish. I mean, 1 episode per week would take more than a year to finish. So thanks for shaking up the meta
8:27 that scream cracked me up 😂😂
Natalie, just letting you know this format you're using to react to a TV series like GoT is perfect. Good pacing, length, and editing. Keep it up! 👍
only death pays for life. the death of her husband, her son, and the witch are what payed for the lives of her three dragons. it was her own blood magic spell, so to speek.
I've never felt the need to re-watch this series after it ended, but it is sooo entertaining to watch you watch this for the first time. Looking forward to the next season! 😍😊
I hope Sean Bean appreciates how many tears you have shed for him!
i really like the choice of edits that keep enough of the story highlights but shows good reactions from Nat... do not feel bad about the "ugly crying" we have all been there
Female viewers: "Look at the little baby dragons!"
Male viewers: "Oh, I'm looking... and yeah, dragons, too! How 'bout that?"
Lesbian viewers: Uh huh! Very nice! Very beautiful! And yeah dragons are cool too!
I loved her dragons too.
What dragons?
The little dragon screeches at the end always give me chills.
Was I depressed from 2010 onwards, or did this show just make me feel like having a dark cold lump of anxious sadness inside me was normal? We'll never know.
That was one of the most powerful reactions I've seen to Ned's execution! It was a hell of a move in the show, and sets the tone for the George R R Martin's story telling
Watch pub reaction videos later on. It's a pleasure to relive these moments with whole groups of people.
Those are the worst, everyone’s reactions is so exaggerated for the camera
I love how you edit in you refuting yourself. Its a cool and humble touch.
Her: Khal Drogo deserved better
Me: Did he?
"sure he's a rapist and murderer and wants to go to Westeros to destroy everything but he's hot so it's ok"
Watching you be so emotional for the northern houses saying "King of the North" to Robb is giving me the feels... Looking forward to seeing you watch season 6
