My problem is I'll trigger demon mode when I want the weapon special. I'd like to know how to get the special to go off with no risk of triggering demon mode.

Yeah I saw but I’ve seen other vids of people using high grade dual blades and they always seem to kill mons in the very last seconds like in the 1-3 seconds… and with other weapons you end the hunt with at least 10sec left .. but hey whatever works for you lol no wrong way in hunting if you’re getting the kills
The heavenly blade dance in Mh now is actually the one from Mh rise. In rise if you had a certain switch skill equipped you could pop yourself into the air and do heavenly blade dance whenever you wanted
I don't get how the basic combo work, does it goes like this : Tap -> double slash Tap -> double slash return stroke Tap -> circle slash Tap -> 2hit + double slash or like this : Tap -> double slash Tap -> double slash return stroke Tap -> circle slash Tap -> 2hit Tap -> double slash
Appreciate you! The Lance is underrated. But it definitely doesn't have as many things as you can do in the main series games. It also takes high end skills (resentment, offensive guard, etc.) to make the most out of it.
Are your dual blades under level 5? Or the damage output is low compared to other weapon? I main hammer btw so im used seing burst damage on similar attack commitment? Thanks for the dual blade guide tho, it looks really interesting :)
They need to add more loadout spaces we should ask for that and actual online multi-player not the join if your near by that is the same thing basically as Bluetooth like using gameboys or playing on lan we are in 2024 every game almost has a online match making lobby for players and I don't understand why they don't have it set up like that would be easier to do hunts and find monsters you need without having to spoof and more fun over all for all players
Its Niantic...while Capcom does a lot of the dev work sadly the other aspects like multiplayer are definitely a Niantic thing. Lets hope for more improvements in the future.
@KINGOFCHARMANDERS we need to rally for multi-player we have the power I had a bug issue I messaged support about and they made an update to fix the issue the next day so if we all ask for that they will add it into the game. If they want us to spend our money make it worth while online game would ensure that people can play with other on monsters that those people are already near it will help with quest progression for people who can't move around the way the game intends for you to do in our ever changing world. And it will make the game tons of money because people will want to hunt non stop and buy more potions to stay online it can add so much more to this game that it needs
Depends if u have high raw attack … if not elemental builds are the way to go I’m currently HR96 and I’m farming 8* mons to get almost perfect elemental builds
I’m gonna have to do more testing but honestly I think full aim off is better. You don’t get a lot of room to see attacks because of how wild dual blades is 😅

That special attack looks like it never misses. Unlike LS, i miss most of the time when im using it to dodge a monster attack
Important to note, I think you can enter demon mode even if the special button is not full (so long as you have stamina).
I highlight that twice in the guide and throughout the gameplay 😄 but you need to be in demon mode to use your special.

You can’t. You need to be in demon mode for the special to go off. It’s the same in main series.

To be fair, I'm using a G5 Lv 1/5 Thanatos Mauls haha. I'm surprised it event was able to kill that 5 Star Pao haha.

OH yeah! I just remembered that after you mentioned it. You could also do it with wirebugs tech, but it took a minute before I could get it down.

Regular diablos dual blades/ Rathalos chest, head piece/ Rathian gloves, belt (, if grade 6) Anjanath boots. Slices thru 7* nobody's business.

The 2nd one is basic combo. After the 2 additional hits it resets back to double slash.

My Thanatos Mauls aren't upgraded at all lol. They're G5 1/5 so I'm actually surprised that they can do this much despite being a fresh forge.

How to always trigger Heavenly Blade Dance? Needs to be locked on (head/tail) or just need to be hitting head/tail anyhow?
You just need to land the initial hit. It will automatically home in on the closest head/tail portion. Otherwise nothing happens if it misses.

How did you unlock all elements for the dual blade?
You need to have defeated all the monsters first. If you don't defeat a monster their weapon/armor wont show up for you in your armory.

Nope. At least from what I've gathered so far. But DB's never had held attacks in the Main series games.

@@giovanyserna6120 I'm HR 83, farming 8*s as well. Just curious if Grade 10 Kulu DB with a crit build and weakness exploit can take down 9*s.
