The weapon from The Clone Wars (also present in Rebels in the background) is a so called Lightsaber Pike, wich means extra long hilt and shorter blades, like two Shotos welded on each side of a tube. The weapon used by the Temple Guards in Rebels on the other hand is a double-bladed Lightsaber with a foldable center piece, like seen with Pong Krell and "Dark Rey". It is often called a pike but actually it has a slightly shorter hilt and normal sized blades besides the foldable center and a different color scheme.

They’ve made a handful A little back they rereleased Vader,mace and anikins sabers on shop Disney and they also improved the leds on those ones And apparently the clone wars season 7 maul saber is limited edition or very limited stock rn

@@holyflame2 Jedi weren't meant to seek conflict or battles. They would fight as a necessity, but they would never seek bloodshed or violence. Having such an honour as to guard the temple would be one of the biggest rewards a jedi could recieve.
They released them at Disneyland this past Saturday. Someone bought 8 of them. Not sure how they carried them out of the park. Each one is pretty heavy.

it's crazy, with all resources Disney has, they still make very undetailed hilts, very cheap, ugly, bulkier, badly painted, and still charge a premium for it. I'm a fan I have a Vader Signature Series Force Fx from Hasbro, very cool, but very simple, low detailed, big, and not well done, for the price I paid back in the day, 120 Pounds, looking back was a bad deal. It's better to get a custom one. They have better materials, better blades, better FX. They cost premium, but they are premium.
Hey James have you looked into the Promethean elite or Shadow promethean from vaders vault? I ordered mine in November and im soooo pumped to get it in.
It will release whenever it release and no 1 person nor cast member will know any info on that product ( lol I know this is not helpful but is the most rock solid info and accurate)

When I found out there's a Lightsaber Pike Set I wanted to get one of these! But, unfortunatley, Disney said they cannot ship to Europe and I shall visit the german version of the site. I did, but the german version doesn't sell any Legacy Lightsabers at all. Well, without having luck or an american friend, it was impossible for Non-Americans to get this set. I hope they re-release it in a normal box, like they did with the Reforged Skywalker Leia Lightsaber bundle. Kinda a shame that the foldable connector piece is gold. If it were white it could be perfectly used to connect two of the older Temple Guard Lightsabers to create the foldable Double-Lightsaber as seen in Star Wars Rebels. But since this newer version is meant to resemble the actual Lightsaber Pike as seen in The Clone Wars and in the background in Rebels (and no, the white foldable weapon from Rebels is NOT a pike like the gold one, they are not the same) the only connector that really fits is the stiff one. I guess they just don't wanted to confuse their customers with the white. Whatever, it's no secret Disney Marketing doesn't really care of those kind of details, they just want to make the average fan happy, who only sees a yellow double-blade and thinks it's the same weapon all the time...
That camera angle could use some work! You have an unboxing video that is focusing on you instead of the unboxing. Maybe next time have the box in frame instead of lifting it to show it of.
Hi, I’m new to the channel. I noticed shopdisney Hilts are all Sold out. Does anybody know if there will be Legacy Hilts, specifically the Darth Maul hilts available at Disneyland LA? If not I’ll be bummed but I do want to purchase a Lightsaber

It's a shame that Disney is content with making more money on this type of product rather than giving thier die hard fans a good deal on premium products. If I remember correctly, the temple guard blades are actually fairly short, so for accuracy you’d want the shortest blade on each end.

The Jedi temple guards are a interesting Jedi obligation I'm more Jedi counselor level as I'm one to talk before I fight.
