Make your own easy DIY drawer dividers to organize small things in your drawers… like office and craft supplies!
In this video, I show you how to declutter and organize your drawers. Specifically, how to organize those drawers you have full of small things that are all jumbled up together! Like your junk drawer, your craft supplies drawer, your bathroom drawers, or your kitchen drawers. I’m going to show you how to make simple DIY drawer dividers easily and inexpensively using my free patterns! Then I’ll show you some different styles you can both make or buy, if that is easier for you.
Drawers are a great way to store and access our little stuff, but drawer space can be quickly overtaken by clutter. Messy drawers are hard to find things in, and just lead to more clutter and disorganization.
One of the simplest and least expensive ways to cut this clutter is to make yourself a custom drawer organizer out of cardboard dividers. These are just cardboard strips that act as drawer separators.
To make your own custom drawer dividers, all you need are basic supplies - some type of cardboard, a way to cut it, and a tape measure. I recommend you make dividers out of Kraft board or even chip board - I don’t recommend basic cardstock, however, as it’s a bit too thin. The best part about making them yourself is you can custom size them to your drawer.

I used to get sooooo detached to stuff. There was a journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks I used to throw stuff out and organize better. I used to be so emotionally attached to the smallest thing.

If we're confessing, I have troubles throwing away stuff that can be reused like mason jars, and their lids, any green glass bottle, elastics, bread ties, styrofoam meat trays, ..etc.. I need a Dreambox 😍

I look at a box, especially, anything made w paper/wood: Like, THAT is a good quality box, ep, card, carton, whatever. And, cannot throw it out.
Yet, where donate? No one else wants! Lol.

@@freedomofreligion3248 My sister is a teacher and she takes a lot of the stuff I can't throw away. Schools are ALWAYS in need of supplies and grateful for any donations.

I wish organizers and containers, etc didn’t cost so much. When you need the amount I do, it adds up quick! I do crafting plus do a lot of baking, cookie decorating, so my craft room is used to organize my baking/decorating items as well. Any suggestions?

Use cardboard to make dividers. Essentially free (use old boxes), quick, easy to redo. Google to find how to measure, etc

Hi.. It's been 5 months since I bought the cricut maker 3 and I'm still learning how the design space works.. The last update changed the way images are uploaded and with the new version I can't find a way to clean up the images and I'm struggling to find out how the "reduce color" and "color tolerance" works.. Is there any way I can find help for that?

I would look to Cricut resources for the best help with this, help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009556313-Uploading-Images-into-Design-Space

The Crafty Organizer has a great video on using foam core to make space dividers for the drawer. You can really tailor the drawer to what you need.
