I saw the "Flower Center" of your paint holder at a home store last week and thought...what did I need that for??? I LOVE that! This video made me fall in love with you even more! 2 tips...I use the tiny elastic ponies that come in a package of 100 or so from Dollar Tree, and I wrap those around cords to shorten and straighten
them, elastic ponies around my spools of thread and Mason jars with the lids screwed to the bottom of a shelf. Two of my easy organization tips! ;)

I donate my scrap paper and craft items I no longer use to my neighbor who works at a charter school. She loves it.

I feel like I'm in your shoes! I buy, buy, buy, bring it home and just plop it on my work table! I finally started today organizing and I can see my work table now. I am a big scrap booker and haven't been able to do any scrapbooking because of soooo much other things going on....but I am determined to get started as soon as the room is organized. Thank you for giving me “permission” to throw away my scrap pieces of paper. 😊. I have all of these pieces of paper in my craft room that I’ve saved because I don’t want to waste anything. But I know darn well I will never use them. Today they go in the trash! (No recycling in my area)
You can always make little packages and give the larger scraps away

Wow! Love your room and I realize this is from 3years ago, but I needed to see this today! Being a quilter, bag maker, and crafter-with smaller room- I frequently get overwhelmed working on multiple projects. I will get organized-again.😊

I'm glad you let scraps go. I used to save every little scrap. When I started my organization quest in October, one of the things I gave myself permission was to discard scraps. I rarely used them. I only save scraps post card size or bigger now. That was very liberating. Because, throwing out scraps is kid of a paper crafters Taboo. I did get my room done in 14 days of starting. It was a great help that I joined your FB group. So, thank you.

Oh my gosh, I definitely need to do this. My room is a disaster. It can start out clean but by the end of crafting...disaster. Then not getting it cleaned up after stresses me and I tend to put off doing projects because I don't want to tackle the mess. Thanks for inspiring me. I'm going to try to tackle it this weekend.

THANK YOU. I am sitting here just laughing because I have the laundry basket and the empty boxes and the unopened boxes and all the scrap pieces from all the things. Fantastic. I am inspired to try to organize it. Wish I had all the cool storage things you have, but, I will make do with what I have.

I definitely have the "should I save or purge, (SAVE IT) problem" I know I can and probably will replace rather than dig it out (if I can find it!). Now it's my turn to dig into my craft stuff and purge what I really don't need and give everything left behind a home of its own.

I am so envious Jennifer I do not have a room to turn into a craft room so I had to create a little space in my home where I can work and it's kind of in the open so it needs to be kept neat all the time I am an organized person and I love to organize my husband right now is going to convert our carport into a craft room for me but for now I have to stay in my little corner . I love to be put in the corner that is my time out my happy place

I love the little buckets on the peg board. Great idea. The paint bottle holder on the wall that is shaped like a flower is such a GREAT idea, and it adds to the wall decor. You have a pretty awesome craft room!

Love you jennifer you are such am inspiration..its good to know you are just like the rest of us when it comes to getting into your crafting & keepin up on cleaning it up right away lol and storing right away also.. my sister and i are 5.5 wks new to cricut so we turn to you quite often lol..and thanks For the vinyl storage rack video my husband is gonna start making this today hopefully if he doesn't. Have to stay over for work (he's an electrician so he's essential uugh). He offered to build something for me so soon as he said tht im on it like white on rice i immediately showed him your video lol i love tht rack such a clever idea but mine has to be a little wider and taller some vinyls are 20x3-5ft & due to being new we bought so many different vinyls from different company's to see which we like best..so thank you you are just so sweet love ya jennifer keep making these video they are all so helpfully at least for us and i am sure after reading other ppls comments they are just as appreciative as we are..HAPPY CRAFTING JENNIFER !! I’m in pressed. I realize that you did this in time lapse video but I’m afraid it would still take me a lot longer. Great suggestions. You are correct that we are more creative when things are organized & clean. Just need to learn to clean up after each project. TFS ❤️

There are a few components to ways to declutter easily . One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Nilah Declutter Tips (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the no.1 blueprint that I have ever seen.look at the great info .
Lol same here. I started cleaning mine today and about 1+1/2 hr I. I fold my hand a walked out to do something else. 🤫🤭. It’s still there.

I actually started organizing my craft room today! I also swept the floor first! I haven’t been able to craft since before Christmas because I can’t even get to my table much less work on it. I am not only cleaning but pulling all of my seasonal crafts to store away for a few months to free up some extra room

I am a very messy crafter. Thank you for showing us your messy craft room. I need more storage so that I can get organized. My biggest obstacle is that I just want to go to Ikea and get it done and my husband only wants real wood in the house, no pressed board. Doing everything in real wood is really expensive.

wow! I am just getting into crafting. I doubt I'd ever get as involved as you have but damn your room is amazing! Right now I use my dining room table as my crafting surface. The table has a three shelf unit along the back (on the table) with all my craft supplies and another three shelf unit on the floor next to the table with all my 8yr olds craft supplies. We both take different paths with our creativity which is why we have our own "space" for supplies. Love your space! 😍

Thank You SO much for the double table idea, Jennifer. Too brilliant for words & so affordable with my existing ikea tables! (I've doubled up lack side tables before, to make printer shelves and even put wheels on them to make a cart table, but I would never have thought of the extra layer between tables.) Hi Jennifer, I couldn't stop laughing , because your craft room looks so much like mine. Actually mine is a tad messier. The only problem I have is that all the stuff in my craft room is craft stuff. I do believe I just don't have enough room for all of my stuff. Thank you for all of your tips.
Right now my craft room looks pretty much like your “before” and I have started to clean it out. You are so right it is so inspiring to have a nice neat area to work. When it’s a wreck I go there to create, take one look and say “I don’t want to go in there. I also need a big purge. You have really inspired me.

For anyone interested, I just made a storage system for my (almost 300) markers for under 10 Euros...and a video on how I did it. I prefer to spend money on supplies, not storage, so DIY it when I can! I can't work in a messy space, so tidy often. It's also good for inspiration, since I often find things I'd forgotten about:)
Good point on keeping things organized! We know what we have, so aren't buying duplicates! 😀
