Here's Composer/Guitarist Giovanni Piacentini performing "Una Flor En La Laguna" from "Suite Montebello" by Julio César Oliva on a 1976 David Rubio classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.
Huge thanks to the folks at Apogee Electronics (ApogeeDigital.com) for the use of their Ensemble interface in these recordings.

Possibly the best guitar that I have ever heard. Watch how tight the bass strings respond and still with piano like sustain.
Parlor guitar guitars are very high-end, and have all the polyphony that chamber instruments have.
I remember reading when I began studying music of the 20th century that the reason the composers wrote un-muscical music was that all of the good melodies had already been written. They never met Maestro Oliva.
Gran guitarrista y gran compositor.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow! That is beautiful. Performed well (with feeling).

It is so romantic. I don’t think there is better than this.
Nice to see this guitarist here...I follow him on TikTok and his videos are engaging.
Fabulous composition and performance. A great study for how to write melody and counterpoint accompaniment.
Breathtaking performance.
Beautiful : )
Soothing
Either my ears aren't working or the guitar is slightly out of tune. Still a beautiful piece and performance
Slighltyyyy out of tune. 2nd string I think.
