I heard "Warhammer", "cafe", and "Japan", and my mind went into a totally different direction because themed cafes in Japan have ruined me. I was expecting drinks being served by Sisters of Battle, a Commissar being assigned to your table making sure you aren't ordering anything heretical. A Guardswoman spending time with you and talking about her battle exploits while she's on leave. I wasn't expecting a store with an actual cafe.
Its pretty much exactly like the Warhammer Citadel stores in Dallas and LA, which is also just a big gw store with a coffee shop in it, which they mention in the video
I feel bad for not watching as much beavs as I used to, this channel has such a special place in my heart. Excellent little vid tho, ask my Warhammer friends more about the lore now
Same and i may have missed some of beavers videos.. shame since i was doing lots of school work and stuff but rn everytime i watch his videos it always brings me joy 😊
Ive very recently got into the hobby and honestly its the best thing ive ever done. Ive made friends that are into the hobby themselves. I did be a bit stupid and bought pretty much every Seraphon related box out there so i have 100+ models to paint but i love it, plus you kinda got me into it when i watched you streamed painting your models. So thank you James for this amazing passion you helped me discover.
@@Syreave yeah man, I can't wait to get all the new models aswell, I've asked my local store manager if I can have first pick of them. Haha it's gonna be an expensive day when they get released

Love Japan, but boy do they do racism even more powerfully than America.. if you don’t look Japanese you are referred to as “foreigner”… imagine just saying you look “unamerican” to people at Walmart, it’s exactly the same and it’s brutal I’d assume, although I’m not American and am just going off of social media.
this is honestly so cool, I wish i could go here, the amount of detail in the drinks and the terrain in the glass cases. also a very nice paint job beaver.
As someone who has been doing it for almost 2 decades, the precision you think you need to do it is likely a misconception. Sure, you can get into the fine details like eyes if you want to, but If it looks good from an arm's length away, you're fine.
Its honestly easier than you think, as someone with shaky hands and horrible art skills. I love to paint minis! Espicially since it really just comes down to technique and what colors you use. There are plenty of super easy tutorials that give you good guides on how to make your models look pro. Things like washes and the new contrast paints do alot of the heavy lifting.
I got into Warhammer because of you and I finally bought some necrons not to long ago, so this is a perfect video after I think 1-2 years since your first Warhammer video. Great videos as usual, keep up the good work!
Love the variety that this channel has always held. In between Jurassic World The Game videos and various dinosaur related videos.. you get these little gems that bring a sparkle to this channel.

Hey beaver idk if you were aware but the isle was adding three new dinosaurs at once, it was ceratosaurus, troodon, and some kind of small therizinosaurus looking thing
The only thing that would make this place absolute perfection would be women dressing as sisters of battle serving the drinks or guys dressed as space marines serving the drinks or even better people dressed as tech priests serving the drinks
The best thing about Warhammer in Akihabara, is if you go to Radio Kaikan, you can buy their Warhammer products slightly cheaper if you have a foreign passport. If you don't, you get the same absurd prices as everywhere else in the world!
I love how the Japanese Warhammer world has a café instead of a pub, if anyone has been to wh world Nottingham recently there is a hot wing challenge where you can win a badge

Awesome to see this! Back in 2005-2006 I used to go into the store in Nakano for the odd game. I'm glad to see the game's still alive and well in Nihon.
Man, I remember when there was only one GW in the whole of Japan. I bought a baneblade there for 80 bucks. I thought it was crazy expensive but worth it.

this is super cool, even tho i am still on the fence with warhammer and they're over priced plastic, this does look like a cool shop to just walk around in and get a drink
All of my favorite youtubers of now and past are popping up with these warhammer videos. Bricky, Necrit, moist critical and now Beaver. And I have never been so happy.
Someone I know went to Tokyo and wanted specifically to go to this shop after seeing this video. Was extremely disappointed. Was only one guy sitting behind the counter, never even spoke to them or acknowledge they were there, and the cafe/milkshakes bench was closed. So sad.
The only problem with having a beverage close to me while painting would be to accidentally dip my brush on it and then take a sip... Happened a little to often which is why I no longer eat or drink while working on minis...
As someone whose home store is the LA Warhammer Cafe, was very cool to see the differences. Both are awesome but the extra touches in Japan - and the space, really take it over the top. Crazy cool!
Now, this is a winning combination from GW. How cool would this be in your town? Instead of the usual little shops that are common for Warhammer stores.
Come on up and take a look, we put the franchises name on EVERYTHING! Moichendising, moichendising! We have Warhammer the t-shirt, Warhammer the lunchbox, Warhammer the breakfast cereal, Warhammer the coloring book, and Warhammer the flamethrower! The kids love that one.
