Awesome! the dealer wanted to charge $100 labor to do this. So i saved at least $100 doing it myself. I'm sure the part was cheaper from you also. Thanks FilterHeads!
I had to watch the video again a couple times to confirm once I started removing the screws. But I managed to replace the filter. The old one was dirty black! Imagine that could have gone in our lungs. Thank you filter heads!
You don’t have to remove the glove box. I have a 2010 cube and for seven years I removed the glove box. This year I just reached up under the glove box, felt for and removed the cover and pulled the old filter out. The new one went in fairly easy, I slipped the cover back on and I was done in five minutes!
Good to know. Thank you! But, I just tried and couldn't feel what's there. Maybe I should remove the glob box for the first time. Once I got an idea where/how the things are located, I guess I can feel...
Many aspects of Nissan cube are an afterthought. Rushed to market. Conflicting design principles. Then Carlos Ghosn cane along....I have a cube, lowest mileage one in USA, I enjoy it! Don't pay too much though....
When installing AQ1154 the airflow arrow should point to the front of the car and the tab should be on the top. Purchase this filter at: www.filterheads.com/i-302-aq1154-cabin-air-filter-particulate-media.html

Seriously Nissan, would it have killed you to design the opening to be big enough so you don't have to crush the filter to get it in?

That's one crazy-looking screwdriver!
Yep it is a ratcheting screwdriver with a 3 way bit holder.

you are the man
@@keiichik13 yes you remove the glob box
Yes, but after 4 years we know where the things are, this is good for people who’ve not done it before, or whose wrists don’t work well.

Most Nissan's are this way. They need to do a better job with the design.
Pfffff I doubt your Cube has fewer miles than mine. Mine has 130k miles! 😂
Thanks! I got it changed with the help of this video! 2010 Cube
You're welcome!
Just an FYI -I found 3 screws on the bottom of the glove box on my Canadian 2010 Cube

Very helpful instructions-everything went smooth thank you!!!!!!!@
You're welcome!
This is the worst design I've ever seen for a cabin filter, so difficult to change. Shop charges $60 labor to change it, stupid !!
Most new Nissans have this poor design.
Many thanks!
You're welcome!
