Congrats on this beauty !.. Great filming dad.. I am assuming there was only the 1 hole in this bull.. The first shot was a clean miss to the left, you can see the impact on camera and the second shot was on a running bull thru brush.. Soooo That 3rd shot was in the boiler maker and likely heart ??

I almost hate to say it, but this was our first time entering the draw for Mule deer tags and we got drawn. Elk was over-the-counter and so was bear.

​@UnlimitedWhitetailHunting By chance was the mule deer units drawn with good odds with 0 points? I'm looking to make my first mule deer/elk hunt this year and thinking my best option is draw a mule tag and buy a OTC elk tag. Looks like quite a few units with good non resident odds with 0 points

Remington 700 .308 with Deer Season XP ammo.

would probably be smart to get a bigger caliber with more energy at range if youre gonna shoot that far, and also make sure you get bullets that actually expand at that range to go with it... shouldnt take more than 1 shot.
