Well, muzzleloader season will now become a modern gun slaughter. I would be pissed about this decision if I still lived there.

I get where you're coming from and if it wasn't for nationwide deer overpopulation (including places in Arkansas) and how that plays into the spread of CWD, I'd be pissed too (were I an Arkansas resident & muzzleload hunter). But given the need to get the population under control and prevent the spread of CDW, I don't see this as egregious. And when/if they can do that, it's possible if not likely that they will change things back. It'll be a year-to-year evaluation of the population.
