I'd greatly recommend putting a small, mostly transparent "SloMoGuys" watermark in one of the edges of the screen. I can't tell you how many times I've seen your work reposted on other sites with no credit given, and sometimes people will even put their own watermarks on the footage.

That could work if they could rig up a system that shot the guns for them, because Gav and Dan shooting at eachother would be too risky.

I think they have shot close to a million but the four second footage ended up being nineteen hours long for the sake of thirty seconds of decent footage. I'd say they just dont bother
DG Lifestyle it does a million FPS at 128x16 pixels. Too small to see any detail. This is the max speed at its max resolution of 1280x720

You've got to be very accurate to hit that with standing shot. Wonder how many takes?
I shoot in my JROTC rifle team. We shoot targets about the size of a ballpoint pen tip from I think 15 ft away with 20 pound air rifles. isn't that hard.
Zach Parsons Cool story. But usually Iron sight are too big for such accurate shots. So unless you are using a scope or a Dot i think you are calling BS.

JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. It's a High School level program that each branch of the United States Military utilizes in order, “To motivate young people to be better citizens.” Currently, the United States Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy operate their own JROTC programs across the nation. Took me 7 seconds to Google "JROTC" go the U.S Army JROTC page, and click the 'About JROTC' tab, which by the way contains the history of JROTC.
@@bachmed00 We don't use Iron Sights, we use the Crosman Challenger PCP Air Rifle that comes with its own Rear Sight Aperture, and Front Sight Aperture; neither of which increase the target size when looking through them. The Rear Sight Aperture is just a little pinhole that makes it easier for our eyes to focus only on the center target, and not other aspects of the range. I was overexaggerating in my explanation and I apologize, the rifles we utilize are only about 7.1 Lbs. In the competitions that I participate in, the sporter kind, we shoot targets at a distance of 10 meters, which is about 33 feet (32.80 Ft). Though the entire target is not the size of a ballpoint pen tip, the highest scoring target ring, the 10 ring, is. The rest of the target contains a black cirlce with a diameter of about 1 inch and the entire target having a diameter of about 1.5 inches.

The bit at 2:22 where the flame slowly fades away in slo mo and then just flicks back onto the wick, is such a beautiful shot and it looks like real magic to me.
I love that they trust each other enough to be down range of the other shooting and not be scared of getting hit.
I mean, it's pellet being shot out of a rifled barrel, so as long it's not being pointed at someone it's not gonna hit them

As a kid I remember being fascinated with a photo of a bullet coming straight at the camera. My dad explained how it was done w/o putting a hole through the lens, film and camera body. Nice work guys. How about you guys set up a vertical mirror and have a gun and camera each at 45 degrees from the mirror surface ... then you can shoot the bullet coming straight at the camera w/o it actually doing so. It smashes the mirror of course.

What I love at 2:16 is that the flow of air pulls the flame round, actually away from the wick, but the heat(?) pulls the flame back to the wick 👌

Are air pistols and BB guns the same? I apologize for my ignorance.
No they are not the same. Airguns shoot pellets and usually have rifling. bb guns shot bbs and are usually smoothbore
Plus air guns have much higher fps, the pellets are metal, and you can actually kill small game with it (and even potentially kill or injure a person if you shot them point blank, depending on where you hit)
LILpiecesCOMITY don't spread wrong information. First off pellets lead. A type of metal but lead is proper since there r so many metals. Second a BB gun can injure you as much as a pellet gun can. There both air guns. They use air to propel the pellet or BB. They can potentially kill you but it's very rare most likely you'll just be paralyzed.
I'm not spreading wrong information lol? I said metal, which is true. I simplified it, instead of saying lead, since I was comparing plastic to metal. Also, an pellet gun is much more dangerous than an airsoft gun. You can kill any small game with a single shot of a pellet gun, but you can't kill anything with an airsoft gun unless you wanna try killing a small animal with blunt trauma, by unloading 50 pellets into it.
I play airsoft, and ive seen someone get unloaded on by multiple people at short ranges, with light bruising. I also have a friend who was shot with a pellet gun,. and it went almost half an inch in and he had to have the metal removed.
+First Name Airguns are much more powerful than bb guns. The one I have to shoot squirrels sounds like a .22
