Why do you sabre a Champagne?
-It's mostly for weddings or special occasions, it's a nice way to start of the celebration and it's a long tradition
How do you Saber?
-You chill the tip, like Dan and Gav did, that will crispen the glass, making is easier to shatter, you hold it at around 45°, find the seam (not native English, so sorry for bad spelling), because it's an easy line to follow, and as perpendicular as possible to the bottle you'll have to have the blade, and then wack the tip
Why does it shatter? Is that because I'm bad and sabering?
-No, you can have sabred about 1000 bottles, but some will still shatter, because glass is unpredictable
Will I cut myself when drinking a sabred Champagne?
-No, due to the pressures in the bottle, 99% of the glass pieces will disappear

17:12 Dan’s face is like the dawning revelation of someone realisation they’re holding a treasure
PLOT TWIST: Gavin is actually more skilled at doing the physical things!!
Nah Dan is. Plus Dan can't record lol if you watched the water balloon video
@@hamzzy2043 XD True but perhaps Gav is just both
Gav just likes to get slitty. Dan makes things go boom.
He can run fast from soggy bread
Don't comment before you watch the entire video lol.
Rhett: "It's not going to get any better than that."
Dan: "I did pretty good, I think."
Everyone else: *Hold my champagne*
Dan: "Well then..."
later in the vid:
Dan: *Practices the dark arts*
“Have you been reading a Wikipedia article?”
“I don’t even know how to read!”
Gavin is secretly Jared.
"I don't think you can wear gloves and an eye mask in a fancy restaurant." That aged poorly.
Sure did
lol

Brilliant !
i still think people dont wear eye masks
Link’s disappointed face was hilarious!!! You guys are all awesome!
2:48 the face you make when you absolutely know you're right and everyone else will be impressed when they look it up.
I love the genuine excitement in Dan's voice when he get's just the cork
Yet another instance of “Link is tall and Rhett is GIANT”
