I think the disproportionate win/lose rate is mostly in darts, since so many involve giving Link a Fart and/or a special dart.
Link's weakest point in this game is that he just doesn't care about food the way Rhett does. He's pretty closed off with how pickey he is so he'll just always be behind with poor guesses

Frost Wolf they have done many many games over the years that are way more than throwing a dart. Like this game where someone decided who is closer. Rhett will get it even if he isn’t specific enough and Link will get it wrong.
