I would never convict someone because they supposedly confessed to convicts in jail, nor because they're cranky. Wth is wrong with juries.

You would be a cheap defense lawyer if this was all you had in open court. Evidence, Facts , and the oldest sin in the world surpasses jail cell gab.

It's horrible that he is putting his daughter through this and the other woman too! She may not have been completely innocent but he dragged her down until she had nothing left. A tragedy for everyone.

I watched this trial. I started out believing she just up and left, but there was to much doubt and red flags.
Learning she was a lady that never left the house unless she was put together, left behind her dentures. Was the first 🚩. Then she had a hard time walking around, and supposedly left in chunky heels 2nd 🚩.. Some of y'all didn't watch the trial and it shows.

@@samp4050 being found guilty is by always justice. Innocent people are wrongfully convicted and there’s plenty of proven cases of this. So to say he was found guilty and that’s somehow proof that his being irate means he was only irate because of his guilt is a catch 22. If you can’t be honest with how infuriating it would be to find yourself accused of a crime that you are innocent of, then you must be a very cynical person. Thinking that there is only justice if someone is punished after tragedy if a fundamental flaw of our justice system. It’s only justice if the responsible parties are punished. Otherwise their is only mor tragedy and injustice

no body, no weapon, no evidence, yet still convicted...unusual
“They are difficult. With a no-body case, you don’t have the essential piece of evidence,” said former D.C. prosecutor Tad DiBiase, author of the book “No-Body Homicide Cases: A Practical Guide to Investigating, Prosecuting, and Winning Cases When the Victim is Missing.”

Not really. How many jurors actually follow the rules and truly hold the prosecution to the standard of 'beyond reasonable doubt'?
Like I would find it hard to believe that someone is dead 'beyond reasonable doubt' if the prosecution cannot find the dead body.

Cops: "He wasn't acting like he was innocent. He was too calm. He's involved in her disappearance."
Also cops: "He was getting too excited, he was upset with our questions. He was pounding on the table proclaiming his innocence. He's involved in her disappearance."
Never talk to the police without a lawyer because they will always find a way to twist whatever behaviour you're exhibiting into something that shows guilt.

I don't care how odd someone's behaviour and lifestyle is.
I don't care even if she's not entirely sincere about his/her private life.
Without a body, without blood or any other physical evidence to indicate a crime, it shouldn't be allowed to formally accuse someone of a capital crime. Period.
Yes, the women may be dead, but then again maybe not.
If the authorities can't find the body, just declare it legally dead and that's it.
The police may keep the case open forever, until the body is identified or until clear evidence appears.
The fact that your police station have to go on forward with unsolved cases on the role is what it is....tough luck baby!
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
Those "modern times" policemen are ridiculous when they say: "we can track someone financially".
I can leave in the wilderness, hidden and isolated from the world forever.
I don't need credit cards or bank loans to procure money.
