    I like that cool flamenco, syncopated kinda strumming he does in the intro of opening number. Great player and teacher. Rest in Peace!

      He did announce them early in the video . Tim Landers is on bass . He has worked with many people . I saw him with John Tesh a while back .

    I remember years ago doing a jingle here in new york with tim landers( benny golson was the musical director, smitty smith was on drums ).. I met him that day.. his chart was black with notes.. he read it down like he was reading a newspaper... lol... the band did maybe 2 takes and that was it " thank you guys,see you later" ..everybody out ,bye...hahaha.. I don't think I've seen him since..

    I only got to know Chuck Loeb in the 2000’s because of his playing on Eddie Daniel’s albums. Such a tasteful and technically accomplished player. (See if you can find his trio track Let’s Play.) Impeccable use of tone also. Terrible shame he died prematurely. (I wonder if the keyboard play in this concert is Mitch Forman?)

    First 2 minutes and 11 seconds: From the 16th-not triplet comping sound you can get out of a JC to a clean lead and to a saturated distortion. The ultimate wank fest. And someone still wonders why do people hate jazz? Is it the lack of vision, taste or a concept?
