When you own this home, not only do you get a beautiful and yet decadent inside there is a caveat of ownership. If anyone ever knocks on your door and asks to use the phone you must laugh a bit and say the following: "Sure you can use my phone." Also, if someone knocks on your door and asks about anyone you know or don't know your response must be: "No, nuh-uh. Oh wait... was she a great big fat person?" And lastly, your voice must deepen slightly in order to own this home and have a slowness to it. Night vision goggles are required!

I am from Brazil and I love the movie Silence of the Innocents, honestly it would be an incredible experience to spend at least one night in this house, I found it a very beautiful and charming place! in addition to carrying the mark of a classic in theaters!

Awesome marketing for the house, sisters. I saw it on our local ABC affiliate, ABC27 (WHTM) on their morning show. I live in Central PA and, if it wasn't for being so close to the train tracks, I would talk my wife into it. We live about 1/4 mile from train tracks and I am used to it, but being that close...I'm not sure. Again, great job on marketing.

I lived by a train track in college. The first night I shot straight up in bed as it blared it’s horn. But, after that night I never heard it again.

I live in Southwester PA, near Perryopolis. You're right; the trains are required to blast their air horns as they approach the crossings. There is no way you are going to get a peaceful night's rest if you live near the train tracks.

If you are looking to visit this house it is not located at 8 Circle Street Perryopolis, PA it is located at 8 Circle Road, Perryopolis, PA. Check both addresses on Google Maps. The house sits along the river and next to the railroad tracks, which is nowhere near 8 Circle Street.
They should have had a poster on the wall of Jim Carrey with meat on his face from Cable Guy.

It is a very beautiful house ! If I could sell both my homes right now , I’d buy it in a heartbeat ! I have a beautiful cabin in the North Georgia Mountains and a home in Mobile Alabama - if I got rid of both of these , which we want to do , then we could buy something else without a mortgage .

230 000 euros ????? I live in Paris and for 230 000 euros you have a 18 m2 room ! If I could I would buy it even if there is a train in my garden !
One of the rare occasions when having everything clean and repaired totally ruins the impression. I wonder if having a couple of junkies living there for a year could bring it to the original state and raise the price. I would also invest in digging a bigger cellar and adding the pit. I'm aware it is being sold for dwelling, not freaking out, but still. I'd bring it as close to the Lambs' condition and turn it into a tourist location.
