I really admire that she's been able to balance a clutter free, symmetrical, neutral aesthetic, and turn such a large house into a home.
It reminds me more of a wedding cake than it is a home. It is beautiful, if you like perfection, and more of a showpiece. I like a more lived in look with beautiful fabrics and colors, and lots of books and beautiful art. Everyone to their own taste though.
What a beautiful home. I'm not familiar with Rebecca but she seems like a lovely lady and quite rightly, very proud of the amazing job she's done in the house. I too am a symmetry freak and this house makes my heart sing 🥰

I honestly dont understand all the negative comments here. Why are people so damn negative all the time... predudiced? Jumping to conclusions about where a single mother got her wealth? Always assuming a wealthy woman must have "stolen" it from her husband? She couldve inherited , couldve won the god damn lottery or worked for it. For fucks sake, she could be a widow! Who cares tho? I honestly dont give a shit where she got her money. Im happy for her and her kids. It must be nice to dont stress about finances like the majority of people do.

I like it, it's pretty.. but too much white everywhere, it needs colour, contrast and more interesting focal points to fill the voids.
This is my dream home, softness and texture but no clutter. It was so calming and serene.

This is a beautiful home, I love the addition of the panelling. I would love that lounge room with the bay window, it would be a perfect library reading room or games room / music room.
I absolutely love your back garden, have you considered installing a fountain in the middle of that lush green lawn, That would a lot of classic to all that lush beauty.

Gorgeous home with wonderful features. The trim work was a great idea and all of the built ins are fantastic for keeping things tidy, especially with children. Woman after my heart lol! It's very nice but it's very predictable. I think a designer could make this really special by adding some gorgeous fabrics and textures.
So disappointing the curtains are all the same colour - all plain grey/taupe. Curtains could have added so much interest to this house. While it’s lovely. It lacks interest in fabrics, colour and texture. But a beautiful home no doubt. Looks like everything must be the same.
The 2 year old already has his own king sized bedroom and walk-in wardobe...lol. Only in Essex.
O wow ...that is so anal for the baby's room. You would expect a two year old to have a 'normal' bed, a colorful bedroom full of toys, and, a safety feature re: the stairs and landing. The glass shower in the en suite as well?
An adult bedroom for a toddler is ridiculous. 😒
Lovely practical home, however very colourless and lacks warmth, perhaps some pretty Art and rugs would soften it.

The change in ceiling in the great room really works. It breaks up the massive size and allows for more windows.
Can’t understand why the kitchen cabinets (and other cabinets in general) didn’t go to their ceiling? Would have looked much classier. The floor plan is fabulous but the grey interior looks quite dated. Shiny silver mirror frames and picture frames? ….would swap that out…the blingy look just looks cheap and very ‘new money’. A wonderful job on the panelling. Nice job overall….and the tour was really great. She did a wonderful job. That bathtub in the ensuite looks so out of place imo…..Thankyou!
Agree its very 2000 grey with more grey, I just don't feel it's very practical and quite cold.

I really like her style. I think she has great tastes, specifically her design choices and colour palette and use of space... There might be a little more panelling than I personally would have but every corner makes sense... more or less spot on. The chandelier choice above the seating arrangement..! Very nice

The house looks beautiful but staged. It doesn’t look lived in or loved. But it is beautifully decorated.
Just not believable that 3 boys live there. All new clothes in all of the closets and no photos in sight.

Very nice. Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis has a nice stairway trim on the side of each run that looks nice. Something like that may be nice for the stairway off the playroom. But sometimes more trim is just to much. Anyways very lovely home.
As I watched this video, I kept thinking, thank God I don't have the 6500 square foot house any more. I wouldn't ever want to live in such a large home again. I guess people dream of a big house like this because they see celebreties have them, but once you live in it you realize it's just too big. It's a lot of house to heat! What on Earth do you need a hotel lobby on the second floor for? As for the decor, it's all very "nice", neat and expensive (especially the built-in cupboards) but it lacks soul and the entire thing makes me feel like it's a hotel, not a home. There is nothing of the woman on display but her admitted OCD. There is nothing of the boys on display. Simply no personality and yet I'm sure this girl has plenty of it. Go ahead and show it!

The cloak room..... seriously does anyone believe children that age would have perfectly appointed and staged closets in the mud room. Moms OCD is showing. I can't even .... these children will never be real , mischievous, fun, ruff and tumble boys!!!!! Oh well... priorities.

Hugh is the correct word...waÿ to big...I built 300 thousand sq ft, that was too big, and I have no kids...never really knew where to sit. Moved on the water down sized much happier...she is still young, I am older..you just do not care about all of that....enjoy sweetie❤
You can get rails that you pull down. There can be retrofitted. It's a shame to ruin that custom woodwork for something that is temporary, because a ladder won't be required as they grow taller.

Would like to see more planting in the garden, instead of endless patios, pools and garden rooms. Gardens used to be for plants trees and wildlife.
Rebecca’s garden is a work in progress, she has some exciting plans to transform the space. Perhaps we’ll return when it’s finished! 👀
